• Satellite U305 S7446 - internal keyboard delivers outdoor work but

  I'm having a problem with my keyboard on my Satellite U305 S7446, that I bought in 2007 in the United States. I live in Ireland. It is rarely used agao and 2 weeks, I discovered that my keyboard has become intermittent and sometimes would not work. The touchpad is very well. Due to various problems with VISTA, I reinstalled the operating system and drivers but could not complete the installation because I had no keyboard.   This very strange boyfriend s, but to me it sounds like that, the keyboard is defective. I mean normally during installation, the keyboard should work without any problem.

  Have you tried an external keyboard that works which means that the internal keyboard is defective.

  To check the laptop, you can go to an authorized service provider. On the Toshiba site you can search for one.
  Normally a new keyboard isn't so expensive and perhaps you can sent if the keyboard isn't defective.

  I'm afraid that's true. Satellite Pro 6000 is old enough for laptop and it will not supported in Vista. Install Windows XP Home edition and enjoy your life.

• Satellite Pro L670 and windows XP

  I just bought a new laptop and windows xp installed. After the installation of other programs and then turn off the computer, it will turn back not again. A blue error message screen appears, but I can't read because it flashes and turns off the screen too fast.   If please enter the BIOS and set it to default settings. After doing this OS install again by using the original Windows XP Home edition if you guessed it with your laptop.

  First laptop was designed for the United States market, and so you should look on the Web from Toshiba site we for all drivers!

  I assume you want to install XP on that Vista laptop, but the HARD drive is not visible. Am I wrong?
  Well, in this case, everything is clear for me.

  You must install the SATA driver first. For this you need the Intel Matrix Storage Manager, which could be found on the Intel page too.
  Then, you need to include the pilot using an external drive to the USB FDD (diskette).

  If you n t have such external floppy drive unit then I advise to use a freeware tool called nLite to create a new Win XP CD and include the SATA driver in this new CD.

  Then you boot from this CD to reinstall Win XP on this laptop.

  For details just goggle for nLite ;)

  It is possible that you have useed the wrong or bad BIOS BIOS update procedure.
  Well, it's not easy to say why the connection of the laptop freezes. The fact is that the Satellite A100 is a laptop very new and it comes with all service packs Microsoft (SP1 + Sp2). I don't know whether you have installed the device manually, but you must use the Toshiba Recovery CD.

  Satellite Pro L10 is old enough for laptop and I do not think that you will find all the Win7 drivers.
  According to the Toshiba - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9902P50000R01.htm - your laptop isn't supported Win7 and find the drivers won't be so easy.
