• Designer 6.0: The design editor is disabled.

  We have a repository desigener 2.1. As designer 2.1 is not available, so we moved the repository to 6.0 using the cd "Oracle Designer Upgrade 1.3.2-> 6.0".»
  In the Designer 6.0, the design editor is now disabled(Grayed..). We are unable to open the editor.
  Also on the side server we use Oracle 10 g as database.

  The 6.0.3 you downloaded is just an upgrade path. It is not the complete designer. The only thing that works is the RON and RAU.

  This is to help you upgrade to Designer 10.

  To upgrade to Designer 10, you will need to install the Developer Suite.
  Select windows http://www.Oracle.com/Technology/Software/Products/IDS/index.html

  There are many changes from 2.1.2 to 10g.

• Displays no text entered in the address bar

  I am running Windows 7, and today I updated to version 40.0.2 of Firefox and then encountered the following problem.

  Text I entered in the browser's address bar does not appear, or appear irregularly, as by displaying only after that I get a certain number of characters.

  For example, just as I type "www.aninterestingurl.com" in the address bar. Nothing actually appears immediately, even if the cursor is visible to the right. And if I select the text by highlighting, then the text will be displayed.

  You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

• Display different text based on the time of day?

  I want to have a msg text showing according to the time zone of the user of the native device. For example, when the user is during the day, it displays "Hello". And when the night time comes, it shows "good evening." Is there that an average muse can achieve this? If so, can you please tell me how? either use the widget or write javascript code by adding the html object? Thank you

  You can have fun with JavaScript date() functions. Search the Web. a lot of info on this around.

• Text wrapping moves the text block

  Hello world. I have a block of text on my page and a picture frame sitting in the upper left corner of the text block. I want my text to wrap around the picture frame, so I have the text wraps not lit. However, skin moves the entire text block to the right instead of just the text inside the frame. Is it possible to avoid this? InDesign CS for Windows 6. Thank you very much.

  Nevermind, I figured it. The text block was at anchor, and that's why the frame is moved to the right. I'm sorry for the noise of the useless list.

• How to use radio buttons to display different text depending on the selected button?

  I am new to acrobatXi and have been implemented on-line to fill PDF Forms.

  I have 3 radio buttons in a group (Group 1) choice1, the lendemain2 and the 3 choices.

  I would like a text box to display the text "price" If you selected option 1, the 'price B' If you selected option 2 and the ' price C "If you selected option 3.

  I have no experience of java, so any help would be appreciated.

• Preview mode displays a different page than the design mode

  When I edit my page in design mode in Muse CC, the page is 700px about to long. When I saw this page within the Muse, he adds about 300px to the bottom of the page. There is no box of text or other content that is causing the shift? Why my Web pages appear different in the preview in my design panel Panel?

  Sound as if you want to disable "sticky footer" in the page properties dialog box. This setting makes the page at least as large as the browser window.

• OBIEE - hyperlink stored in column - need to display as text, but with the navigation

  I have a requirement where in a column has hypertext links as values. An invoice is scanned and stored somewhere.

  So when the link is clicked it opens a Web page with the scanned invoice.

  Now I have 2 requirements

  1. instead of any hyperlink, I should display only "scanned the invoice" instead of any hyperlink.

  2. the invoice is open in a different window.

• Display the text string on the Capture window

  To capture is used difference two camcorders. What I have is a display of text pasted on the capture window. I do daily catches and what is new. Don't know how the text string is found on the capture window. Capture saves the film along with the display of text. I need to remove this information in order to have a full, clean with only the material captured.

  Attached a picture showing the information that needs to be removed.

  I use Adobe Creative Suite CS6 with Premiere Pro CS6 on a HP with Windows 7 pro 64-bit z800.

• On the Master Page items text wrapping

  RE: InDesign CS2 on Windows Vista

  I inserted a chart on both of my master pages and a dressing applied to them.  However, on my document pages, my text wraps not around the chart.  (In the text frame Options dialog box, the box "ignore the text not dress" is not checked.)  I know that I can either replace my page master points (and reinsert the graphic) or Ctrl-Shift-click on the graph and forces the text to surround.  But this puts another link in the image of my paper... and I'm trying to minimize the size of the file.

  Do you have ideas on how to make the text wrap on the work of master pages to the pages of document?

  Skin on masters is not performed on the live pages in CS2. It was added as a feature of CS3.

  I use the Application express 3.2 on 10 G XE. I created a text field element and it later changed to "text box with the HTML editor. Now I want to record everything written in this field to the column (varchar2) of the custom database with its HTML tags (eg. for "BOLD" b > something < / b) on click of the save button.

• Display a text box before running a program

  I am designing a new interface for a pulse on LabView duplicator and I wanted to display text on the front before running the program. I managed to create text boxes that appear after the code begins to run, but I was wondering if there was a way to display these text boxes before the code runs.

  Maybe I'm misunderstanding / simplistic, but if you have a string indicator (text box - as you call it) you can simply type in what you want the initial value of the being, and then right click and select 'data operations.  Then choose "Use current default".

• Text Wrap, image with white background

  CS4 Mac Tiger - when using Quark, I am able to import an image (see image of Zebra head) with a white background (effectively a cut without a route clipping) and tell Quark to the text "wrapping" of the image regardless of the white background. In InDesign, seems to only be able to do if I actually change the shape of the box to resemble the image of the picture. Am I missing something, or this function does not exist in InDesign

  PS. bear in mind I do not always come the image and the design of magazines too Photoshopping does not allow date limit.

  ID has some pretty sophisticated packaging options. Go to object > Clipping Path > Options... If you do not have a channel alpha in the image file, or a clipping path, choose edge detection and play with the sliders. A string created in Photoshop, where it is relatively easy to isolate the background will work best, however, 99% of the time, or by removing the background entirely if it is an option.
