• (RH8) Preserving changes to display HTML in WYSIWYG mode?

  In a previous post, captiv8r (rick) explains how to customize the behavior of objects SeeAlso - to view the list of topics even if there was only one (instead of jumping directly to this topic, I had to add "< param name = flags value ="1">"in the code of the object in view HTML. ")

  And it worked! Yay!

  Now... If I pass in WYSIWYG mode later (after the registration of the amendment) and then switch to HTML view, the change has disappeared.

  I found an old post (via google) (from 2006 or almost) where the suggestion was to change in HTML mode, save, load a different topic in WYSIWYG, then switch back to the original topic. I've tried everything, and it didn't work.

  So... it comes-(if possible) how can I keep my HTML changes if I go into design (no change) mode, even)?

  Ouch! Sorry about that.

  Indeed, I remember it was a problem (and is still apparently). You have to love it when RoboHelp ever so helpfully rewritten your changes. NOT!

  You could try the following approach.

  After the change is made, close the topic without seeing the WYSIWYG editor. That should hopefully coax the changes stick. Assuming that it works, the problem then becomes how to remain aware that the change must be done whenever the subject is published. Grrrr

  Without a doubt Adobe as a BUG report and ask them a way to indicate some changes should be left alone.

  A possible workaround solution. Seems sorta gross, but may be a solution. Change to a different subject. Insert the control and bind it to two subjects. One is the desired topic, you want to see. The other is the section which presents the link when clicked. Copy the button and paste it into the desired topic. Then change the code to remove the part of text that appears when the user clicks. Remove these two areas of the code. Once you're doing this will * APPEAR * a unique link. There will also be an empty space, the link below. By clicking on the link should work and click on empty space must reload the subject as it is really related to the topic.

• user name displays wrong in capital letters at the top of the support page. I see it correct in post however; Passwords not displayed in the Security page?

  There is a similar issue where a user asks why his user name is indicated in all cases of small. My problem is the reverse of this and have a problem me of security in the way that it appears.   I use a rule in userContent.css to change this in small capitals.
  Which looks almost the same and allows to preserve the species, that is to ask a question shows with a capital 'A' instead of as 'ASK A QUESTION '.

  I followed the instructions in the Apple support documents.

  The page in question (http://www.liveviridian.com/amazon-preservation-project-2016/) renders fine in Firefox and Chrome. A friend running Yosemite has no problem with the page. Did a reinstall of El Capitan. Problem persists.

  Please read this message before doing anything.

  This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

  Step 1

  The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is localized to your user account.

  Select the feedback connections* and log in as a guest. Do not use the Safari connection only 'user comments' created by 'find my Mac '.

  While signed in as a guest, you will have access to your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you use them for the first time. Do not be alarmed by this behavior; It's normal. If you need any password or other personal information in order to complete the test, save, print, or write them before you start.

  Test while signed in as a guest. Same problem?

  After testing, log on to the guest account and in your own account, disable it if you wish. The files that you created in the guest account will be automatically deleted when you log out of it.

  * Note: If you have enabled 'find my Mac' or FileVault, then you cannot activate the guest account. The login 'User comments' created by 'Find my Mac' is not the same. Create a new account to test and delete it, including his home folder, after testing.

  I'm trying to make a move of two VI. The first step will read the first row of a worksheet and display this line as a 1 d array. There will be a second picture of the same length, filled with Boolean switches. These can be configured to determine which columns are preserved and which are deleted. The second stage will take in the table of Boolean and remove columns accordingly.

  I was able to do the second step without problems (feeding a picture preset of constants). I thought I had the first stage work, but now he throws me into a continuous loop to select a file for reading of popups so that I never get to the second stage.   I'm running out of two problems with this. First, the script works, but the variables are not retained in case tags. They are treated when the applet is configured, but the running configuration displays the absolute values and changes to environment variables event handler does not get reflected in the applet. It may be a design limitation and I can live with that, if that's the case, but it would be good to know. Secondly, once the applet is triggered, I need to check the results of each event to ensure that they were triggered by the same source.   In the doc if you ctrl + f, the word 'repeat' it will find repeated preserved much easier key topics (this is the only time the word repetition is used)

  The script has two options for the FROM clause and (as the manual says in fact) the FIRST table in the from clause is the one whose lines are deleted.

• ORA-01445: cannot select ROWID, or sample, a view of join without key - preserved table form w/report and LOV

  I create a page "Form on a Table with Report" (APEX 5). Table I has 3 columns: cat_key, item_value, item_description. The cat_key is a foreign key in a table with columns cat_key, cat_value. I created the report and everything works fine.  The page of the report shows my domain cat_key in number, so I want it instead to display the cat_value. I change the field cat_key to a text based on LOV, select my LOV and now when I view the page of report I get the "'ORA-01445: cannot select ROWID from where sample, a join without key preserved table view ' error." The report uses the ROWID as a link to the edit page field.

  If I use the same tables and even shared LOV in a report page interactive, it works fine.

  What I am doing wrong?

  This is a limitation of the IR Apex will rewrite your query to a query that includes the lookup table and the columns. So now you have actually created a query on an inline view, which causes the error. You can see the query apex created when running in debug mode. APEX will join the table of choice with your primary table. For example from one of my IR:

  I am running JDev 11.1.1.7. In my AppModule.impl, I created a method that returns a simple POJO (which implements serializable) that has two fields of type string. I exposed the method in the client interface of appmodule. In the control of data, the method appears with an element of return instead of an object or any way to access the two fields of type string. I want to display two fields of type string in the output text components on my jspx page. I'm not find documentation on how to do it. Can someone point me to the documentation or tell me how to make this change to the method of control of the return data?

  AM method can return the custom type, but as much as I know there is no support for introspection of object at design time.

  (so you can call it programmatically and cast to the appropriate type, but you can do component DND data control).

  So, option 1 is to bind the value property of your outputText managed bean fields, programmatically calling AM, fill these properties manually and update your user interface components (note that managed bean must be saved in viewScope or more in order to preserve the values)

  Option 2 is to create the Bean DataControl (with this you will have DND support)

  I have a few videos professionally made on some DVD and it's the only source I have...

  I used several times the detail-preserve of plugins Adobes high-end with a lot of amazing results, but usually I only use top of the range of the sequence where the resolution is lower than the other footages in my project. The plugin was obviously designed for this.

  I just wanted your opinion if you think if apply the plugin on my DVD set and it BluRay 4K upscaling is worth?

  I mean quality will be much better than my DVD player hardware 4K upscaling?

  I have the power of the CPU, time and resources for the task, including authorizing the BluRay so please don't go into this area...

  Unless you throw in additional processing of your images to reduce for example block artifacts and color corrections - don't. Scaling material tends to be fairly sophisticated and can use tricks such as the display of frames twice at framerate higher with models of slightly different scale comprising more than for any full-scale of the source footage. Passing just DVD at 4 k will be limited one way or the other, without worrying.

  Public static HTML has no opportunity to do such things. We could use use the script on the server with a database to preserve the history of day to day information side. As a result, with limited experience (static only), I would say your chance to be able to produce something like you describe in a reasonable amount of time would be low. I agree with the suggestion of Ben to use an online tool which is able to give you what you need. Try it and see if you can adapt the features of Google spreadsheet.

  I buttons of smart form in my project question slides that are hidden until the learner responds correctly, how they are displayed. When a student leaves a lesson and returned later, the answers that they are kept, but the button States are not. I guess I must be reports the status of button as an interaction of quiz to my LMS so that it be preserved. Is this the case? How can I do? Otherwise, how could keep States to buttons for several sessions? I could attach their visibility to a function that shows them if the response associated with the identification of the question is not an empty string, but I'm also not sure how interrogate put responses cached.

  States should be bound to a variable, the Variables are stored in the suspend_data, so they should be recoverable, with the exception of the TEB variables associated with the ETB itself. You will then need to perform an action of tip to check this variable and display it.
