  There is no Disqualification version which has a connector for Salesforce. It is very likely possible to get a driver, for example Data direct and use it with Disqualification, but Oracle does not support/certify this.

• How to strengthen the failure on jobs of the Disqualification

  We execute the Disqualification autosys scheduler jobs (ksh shell script called CLI command) and have the following conditions:

  1. do not the autosys job each time that there is a problem in the execution of the task of the Disqualification (i.e. the Disqualification job failed because of blocking problem)

  2. do not work autosys whenever at least a save fails in the processor business rules

  Currently, the shell script returns a 0 return code (success) on both scenarios.

  Can you advice how Disqualification jobs can be configured to trigger failure to the caller?

  Yes the bug has been checked on 12.2.1. It is the version, and not specific o/s. The bug does not exist in previous versions. We are working on a fix for the fix.

• Issue of multiple Disqualification tasks that use the same snapshot

  Details of the environment

  A snapshot has been created in which the WHERE clause is outsourced and this snapshot table is used in a data quality process.

  Since there are different values passed to the WHERE clause, different jobs who have their own data quality process, but these process reads from the same snapshot table.

  Disqualification does not allow execution of different tasks that uses the same shot to run at the same time.

  Job1 is in operation, job2 throws an exception that the snapshot is locked.

  Any reason why Disqualification has this restriction? Processes are just doing a read on the snapshot table operation, so I was wondering why it was necessary to lock the object.

  We have more than 60 jobs that use the same snapshot and it would inhibit scalability if we are forced to run 60 jobs in sequence and not allow them to run in parallel.

  Can you advice how to fix this problem?

  The short answer is that each task must be executed with his own label of execution. Otherwise, each work is actually being run in the same context, and you will have problems of blocking.

  Please read on the labels of the execution and run profiles in the online help.

  Note that when running with a label of execution, complete results are not written; you need to decide exactly what to write work featuring the views of results you need. All data staged (including the snapshot itself) will be written with a label execution context and you can view the results in the Console of the server. Director will only show the results of the last run.

  Pretty simple (and support should have been able to say, sorry).

  An alert can have several connections. Normally because registration of a given client (name) matches a number of names of different aliases of the same person or entity.

  Each of these relationships has a priority score that is configured in the matching to the Disqualification rules. Whatever the rule of correspondence formed this relationship has a priority associated with score that indicates the power of this game.

  (Default), the score of the priority of the alert is set to be the highest score of any relationship in the alert priority; in other words, the score of the game stronger.

• Disqualification external tasks

  Hello

  I have a stored procedure, and I am the appellant through a Windows File batch (.bat) in the location "edq\oedq.local.home\commandarea".

  The procedure is completed successfully, but the external task is not getting out even after that stored procedure runs correctly. We have to manually cancel.

  Because the command line is not automatically get closed. Is there any solution to get out of the external Disqualification task task?

  As we've said before, you must add an EXIT statement at the end of your script. It works for me if you do this:

  Yes, you can configure the output attributes based on business logic on the merger of the match processor tab. If your logic is pretty simple [i.e. based on a single attribute] then you should be able to achieve this by simply using the only available selection functions, for example merge using 'The most recent value' to select the value of the record with the most recent date. If you have more complex business logic then you first need to calculate a score, pass this game and make your selection of records based on the score, for example merge using the "highest value".

  You can set up a project access to the Disqualification, but there are the following restrictions:

  1. anyone who has "Add a project" permission is automatically able to see all the projects. This allows to avoid problems with name clashes/accidentally make users do not have access to aware of ongoing projects

  2. users cannot have different functional permissions within different projects.

  Best practice is to have a super user to set up the necessary projects and their access. Users who have restricted access cannot add their own projects and will only see those that they have permissions for.

  How can I stop and start the process using triggers in Disqualification?  While planning a job, I can not able to see the folder of trigger / trigger name in the tool palette? What kind of file should be placed in the Triggers folder. If you know someone, let me know. If someone has shared an example script which is very useful for me.

  It is a common use case.

  You create a job that has a closed Web Services trigger configured before executing the first phase (right click on the stage in the Task Manager, select Configure, you will then see this screen below), with the work or or jobs you need to added stop. This must be configured to be 'blocking', i.e. the rest of the work expected on the triggering comprehensive action.

  

  Work should have a phase which refreshes the data staging, and another phase (or a phase of post trigger) that returns your work in normal real time (using the trigger on the job).

  We want to start a task from the Disqualification by command line where I can specify the name of the input in the command line file?

  I tried to use the Externalize in drive and renamed the 'enable' file name and try to use the command below.

  > java-jar jmxtools.jar runopsjob-ProcessFileToLoad of the job-project DataLoad u weblogic Pei welcome123 - runlabel Jul24 d FileName = abc.dat - nowait localhost:8090

  I expect this command will take the entrance as abc.dat instead which is specified as a reader in the work process. But it does not have the file specified as input and still treat the work with the original staging data.

  Please help how I can use several files get handled by using the unique task.

  Hi Ravi,

  The syntax for the outsourced options is the same as in execution profiles, would be if:

  D - phase.*.snapshot. *. FileName = abc.dat

  Assuming you outsourced or not ownership of file name as "filename."

  As I mentioned if you please, don't download files jmxtools.jar - you must use of the facility. You don't need to move it, just run from the folder it is in.

  On a Windows Quick Start installation it will be in Program Files, for example

  C:\Program Files\EDQ11\Enterprise data Quality\director\11.1.1.7.3. (1050) \jmxtools.jar

  On a weblogic Unix installation it is probably in your House Disqualification [a subfolder of your home FMW], for example

  /opt/WLS/EDQ/Oracle.EDQ/jmxtools.jar

  If she's not here, then use the find Unix command to locate.

  We export data cleaned to staging tables, whenever we export data, Disqualification truncates the table and inserts the new data sets into this table.

  My requirement is instead of truncating the table before inserting the data in it, Disqualification must add these records, should not truncate the table.

  Please let me know how to configure this in OEDQ, your help is appreciated.
