Disseminate security warnings

Hi all

there on the broadcast of warnings without danger in AE?

I started to do a color correction and I don't want to end up with colors that are not safe

Thank you

If you apply the effect to the dissemination of the colors (effect > Color Correction > broadcast colors), you will see there two visulization options called 'dangerous touch' and "safe touch". As the name suggests, these options will display out of range color only or safe colors only. If you apply it to an adjustment at the top of the stack of layers layer, it will do so for all layers in your COMP do not forget that these two are viewing options, they do not legalize the colors (that you have other options in the same direction). However, the broadcast color effect does not vary luminance account, so you could use color management, or to complete the effect of dissemination of colors with an instance of levels in which black of exit is defined on 16 and white output is set to 235.

The thing with color management, is that there are values that are part of the NTSC, PAL or REC.709 (IE, HDTV) spaces of colors, but are still illegal because of luminance/channel values. However, if you are using a color space which clips these values with those legal during the treatment, it could produce bad results. If the correct workflow would be: use SDTV PAL or NTSC SDTV as project workspace and then use SDTV PAL 16-235 or SDTV NTSC 16-235 as output profile, in the color management tab in the output Module. In this way, you use the complete color PAL or NTSC spaces for rendering and legalize the output for the rendered file. Works perfectly. No need to use the broadcast colors effect to legalize the color/luminance values or levels.

  • Reactivation of the warnings of security in Firefox 4.0

    Hi all

Tools-> Options-> security used to have an option to select what security warnings would have shown. I would like to disable some of them temporarily, but I have not been able to find a way to reactivate in Firefox 4.0 (specifically "you are about to submit information that is not encrypted") since the upgrade

I don't want to turn them off without being convinced that I can turn it back on, and until that happens, some things take more time than necessary

    Help please?

You can reset the preferences security.warn* on the topic: config page if they are "BOLD" (user set) via the context menu.

  • Security for the TANDBERG Content Server certificate

    Hello everyone,

I have a question: How do I renew the security certificate for the TCS web interface?

Our client has Tanbderg COntent Server installed 4.1 and the certificate has expired, so it is inaccessible by Firefox (the only options are IE10 and less, but they also show a large number of errors).

    Thanks in advance.

The recording is stored and then transcoded. When the process is complete, you will see registration resulting in the record view > Recorded. Click Play to view the recording. See the online help for more information.

    Installation of a security certificate

The content Server has implemented SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Protocol to send the authentication information of the user (username and password) to securely to the user, log in. The SSL implementation means that the web UI must establish its letters of nobility with the browser of the user through an electronic document, called a security certificate.

Each unit is supplied with a self-signed certificate which is valid for one year. Because self-signed certificates are not a certificate authority approved, when users try to log the unit, most of the browsers displays a message that the site identity can not be verified.

You can add the unit to the list of sites approved in Internet Explorer or add an exception in Firefox to avoid seeing the connection error messages.  However, Cisco recommends the purchase of a security certificate of a certificate to the authority who has a relationship of trust to an authority root, such as VeriSign or Comodo. These credentials are more likely to be approved by the browser, eliminating the need to add the unit to the list of trusted sites. This certificate must be generated against the Windows computer name or the DNS entry associated with the IP address that is using the device.

To install your security certificate purchased on the web site of the default unit:

Step 1 Connect to the appliance using remote desktop, then Start > administrative tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

Step 2 Under Internet Information Services, expand '(local computer)"and then"Web Sites. "

Step 3 , Right-click on default web site, and then select Properties.

Step 4 In the Directory security tab, click server certificate in the secure communications section.

Step 5 Follow the instructions in the Web Server Certificate Wizard to replace the current certificate with your purchase. For more information, see using Internet Information Services.

You can also install it for the website Administration of Windows Media and website administration of Windows Server in order to avoid security warnings when administrators to connect to these sites.

When you installed your certificate on web sites, this certificate is then used instead of that self-signed.

If the security certificate expires, (independent), browsers will display another warning and more no previous warning associated with self-signed certificates. A new certificate request can be generated by using the IIS Web Server Certificate Wizard.  Once this request is generated, another self-signed certificate can be created by using a third-party tool or this request can be sent to a certificate issuing authority. Do NOT remove the expired certificate until you have installed a new because this will prevent any attempt to logon.

Well, yes I know I'll get flamed here. Yes, I realize that I am not the master code. Yes, I realize that there are people in this area who are INFINITELY smarter than I am. So please save your breath (or your bytes). I'm NEW to Flash and yes I'm NEW to javascript. When I am pasting my new flash animation in my web page, and then run the web page, I get two security warnings about the risk of running the web page when I look in my browser. The first at the top of my screen and the second comes in the middle of my screen. Once I have OK both of you, the flash works beautifully!

My problem is how do my web page running DO NOT these two security warnings. I googled this, I read dozens of pages and articles on this topic. I copied and pasted the code for days trying to create my solution. Somehow, they all end up with the same two security warnings. I created outside of javascript files by copying-pasting on discussion forums, but I need to make mistakes here.

If I simply watch the original HTML code it reads like this:

    < object classid = "clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase ="" http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=4, 0,0,0 " width ="920"height ="250"id ="MyFlash"align ="middle">"

Knowing that the code, the person can show my my dose? If I had not already made more than 50 attempts, I wouldn't bother anyone by asking. And who knows? Perhaps by showing a real code of real life solution, it can stop an extra 50 positions of others. (Okay, stop laughing - maybe he stops at least 5 posts?)

For those who choose to do not the flame but rather have to help beginners... Thank you!!!

    Dear Rothrock,

  • Thunderbird is supported on Windows 2012?

I want to upgrade my operating system to Windows Server 2012, however I need to know this email client Thunderbird is fully compatible with Windows Server 2012? Otherwise I'll stick with Windows 8.1. I just trashed my server, so I'll have to reimage Windows on my c drive and was planning to upgrade to 2012, or stay with 8.1.

Basically, out of the box, nothing which accesses the internet and is not a software 'server' will be so easy to install the server 2012. It's the security profile is defined as a server and as such as internet explore simply navigate on www.google.com will see all sorts of security warnings and error messages.

"Under the skin" basically there is no difference between the operating system in 2012 server and windows 8, except a registry key. It is also XP 2003 and 2008 is Vista and Windows 7, 2011.

This means that software designed to run on the desktop version will run (subject of the place has changed) on the server. The architecture is the same. What is fundamentally different, is that a version of the server is optimized for different things, and in this case is not a good candidate for an operating system. Things as a server has no reason to open connections on the Ports 110 or 587, instead, he is expected to receive connections. So by default rules probably just Firewall state that if an e-mail program, trying to get the mail will not work without the firewall being adjusted first. Conversely, desktop operating systems could have exactly the opposite entrance. The connection to servers on these ports to retrieve messages.

In the same way that a church can be experienced but does not make a good home unless radically customized, server operating systems are not a good choice for office use as similar levels of customization are needed so he could be comfortable in the new role.
