  I just found the time to give a suggestion.

  If I (put) understand it, the outer part of the circle magenta must be uniformly shrunk to fit around a cylinder with a flat top covered by the magenta circle and the parts inside (and is it possible to do without distortion and strangenesses).

They seem to be rather unbalanced and totally not smooth as a vector form used to be. I have Illustrator 2015 CC, my friend has the same problems on CC 2014. Export in jpg or pdf format works well, in photoshop these forms such as smart objects also look great.

  I don't know exactly what you mean, but I thought about it.

  I just had to use a separate object - in my case just a rectangle - with the gradient applied with a blending mode multiply over the shape of the audience and used an envelope deformation on these two objects. slows down a bit, but it seems OK.

  The answer to your question is that it is safe to develop and then you might want to flatten transparency as well.

  What are the settings for after all.

  A word of caution should check to see that you have no whites to overprint. Unless they are part of a pixelation effect, you can uncheck this option in the attribute Panel.

  Normally, it is not a problem. Just good to check.

  I have a new officejet Pro 8625 connected to my mac has been upgraded to yosemite (10.10).  I downloaded the printer driver (v. 10.0) that corresponds to this OS.  When I print merged envelopes #10 mail in MS word (v14.4.5) another each envelope prints upside down.   What can I do?

  Just in case anyone else ever has this problem, it seemed to me the solution.  The settings were preset to print double-sided with long side binding.  When I turned off the power, the envelopes print correctly.  Not sure why the flip for still another envelope causing instead of actually printing on both sides, but at least now it works.

  I thought about this also and it has changed nothing. Finally understand the problem - it is in the word itself - when click on mail merge > envelope > options > printer options I found that the default tape is incorrect. It has been set for tray cd/dvd cassette instead of tape 2 it needs to be.

  This is the first time that I never had to change a default setting for a common operation!
