Distribution system to ISE with 4 nodes & Licensing

Hello

Question 1

-------------

We 04 devices ISE and we intend to deploy distributed system such that 02 ISE will act as PRI/SEC with the PAD/M & T roles and other 02 as Act PRI/sec with the PDP.

Pair of PAD/MT configuration is straighforward and has no doubt, but there is problem with the two other nodes which is (PDP) as PRI/SEC.

ISE that warns us that at least one node should have the role of monitor allowed, however at the time where Admin role is already activated when we cannot have the people with reduced mobility.

If someone has made, appreciate can guide me in the right direction or share any document how to achieve this requirement.

Question 2

-------------

My another querry is on licensing on this requirement. We have only 1 Base and 1 Adv license for all these 04 boxes for about 500 endpoints. However we can generate licenses against 1 single ISE unit giving its serial number and which will install on primary PAP/MT box only, and what other two boxes that will act as PDP PRI/SEC and it will still give a warning that he is s no license.

Question 3

-------------

When deploy us distributed systems with above senario, which addresses to IP node ISE we need to set up on n (switch), will all be 04 ip address or it will be the pair of PAP/MT or PDP... ?

Thanks in advance.

There are the following roles that can be assigned to a deployment:

-Administrative node (aka SCAP). Must be 1 PAP and possibly a secondary antibody

-Monitoring Node (aka M & T). Must have at least one and optionally a standby

-Political service knot (aka PDP): running the RADIUS and profiling functions

Each node can take one or more of these roles

For your configuration, I recommend the following:

-The node 1: administrative

-Node 2: monitoring

-3: Policy Services node

-4: Policy Services node

all connected in a deployment with a single license

Create 1 node first, then add all the others for deployment

In addition, you must enable the secondary administrative functions on one of the nodes (you must choose which) can act as a backup. He will get used only in case of failure of the main administration role. Can also activate secodnary M & T on a node, but be aware that it is a function of active and therefore is still operational

Hope that helps

    No, you can't, a second facility would be like installing on a second computer, you will need to purchase a second license.

  • ISE HA / node licenses group

    I have a single ISE 3355 with 2200 basic licenses.

    I intend to buy an another 3355 for redundancy purposes.

    Just add this in the node group and the license pool is shared between the nodes? I can't imagine that I have to rebuy all licenses for the 2nd device.

    Thanks in advance.

    That is right.  There is not need to purchase licenses additional paks.  ISE deployment licenses are based by endpoint, not by the node of the ISE.  You can simply add the new node to the existing deployment.

    You have probably already seen this, but here's a guide for distributed deployments:

  • image of the disk system reconfigured to the second drive, active C with the same license

    Can I make an image of my C drive system and then recreate the image on a second drive, activate using the same license as the first so that I can hot swap the second disc for Windows problems?

    That's what I did, but I wonder if I'll run into trouble of having both drives enabled with the same license.

    I think Windows will see the second disk as a clone of the first drive and they should not be a problem. I've heard of cloning of their C drive in case something goes wrong so they can instantly Exchange readers on people.

    No, because the partition scheme is not the same thing and also, you won't be able to activate it. You can't have multiple installations of the same license.

  • Reinstallation of Windows 7 with OEM license with an OEM license and the manufacturer's warranty expired

    My hard drive starts to die, if I want to backup all my data and be ready in case it fails. One of the things on my list of verification is to ensure that I can reinstall Windows 7 if need be.

    I don't have in my possession a Windows reinstallation disk, so I want to create a USB bootable for windows 7. The link to the .isos DIgital River that I use to create my bootable USB key doesn't work for users with OEM licenses. Very annoying, but I can legally get a Dell reinstall drive instead. But Dell wouldn't send me reinstallation disks because my warranty with Dell expired.

    The result of this is that if your a manufacturer guarantee expired, you can no longer reinstall windows on the same computer!

    Dell says it is responsible for providing the relevant recovery media, including Windows used to do with the Digital River .isos, but who no longer work for people with Microsoft's Windows 7 OEM license. Microsoft says that it is the responsibility of Dell to provide its customers with the recovery media (disks to reinstall windows) in the first place. Personally, I'm not interested in the blame game - I just want to have access to a recovery media so I have the option of legally re - install windows 7 in the future with my OEM license.

    Can you help me with this problem? Thank you.

    Downloads Microsoft removing the Digital River and replacing them with a non-functional tool are extremely boring.

    If you can still start, update Dell backup and restore to the latest version:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=7yOz10Y8GCE

    http://www.Dell.com/support/home/drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=8HY96

    Make a USB (older than 2012 systems) recovery or recovery external hard drive (more recent than 2012 systems):

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=hu6jx-QG7xE

    Boot from it to the new hard drive and use it to reinstall. Recovery media is using earlier versions may not work on the new disks.

  • Can I legitimately use a downloaded version of ISO of Windows 7 with my genuine license?

    I recently bought a new system with an OEM Windows 7 Professional installed. When the customization I went for a 32-bit version of Windows for compatibility not abreast of the 4 GB limit in 32-bit OSs (it was not mentioned on the website of the vendor and even Windows page Microsoft says that 64 bit systems handle large amounts of memory more efficiently, but it's another criticism).

    I contacted since then ask them my 32-bit copy must be replaced by a 64 bits but they say that they don't what I activated my copy and they are not sent a 64-bit install CD even if some manufacturers provide both.

    However apparently my OEM license licenses me for installing 32-bit or 64-bit, and I have been informed by the company that I can download legitimately and ISO of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit image, activate it with my genuine license key (32 bit) and be legally permitted to use the software. Apparently their Windows REP told them that they care not whence the media as long as the license is valid (and I believe that the Windows Genuine Advantage software will allow a legal license be purchased from Microsoft to legitimize a non-genuine copy). Is this correct? It is important for me that I license correctly.

    I've always found Microsoft Licensing really useful to clarify things for me in the past but I can't find a way to communicate with them about it and Microsoft does not seem to talk to OEM licensees, referring back to their system providers (which, in my case, are not be useful).

    Could someone clarify things for me or give me an email address where I could contact Microsoft themselves about this?

    If you want to reduce costs now, the best option is to go with the retail upgrade package. If you need not unique features of Windows 7 Professional for example (Domain Join, Remote Desktop, group policy, encryption, network backup), then you could buy a cheaper edition such as Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade.

    Keep in mind, but if you decide to transfer the license of Windows 7 Home Premium to another system down the road, this system should run the qualifying operating system, since the OEM license is not transferable.

    -Install on a 2nd computer http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1452292?tstart=0

    -Windows or Mac has no importance... 2 on the same operating system or 1 on each

    -Two activations on one account CAN NOT be used at the same time (to be noted in the link above of the license)

  • I want to buy the Photoshop now, but I'm pretending to change my computer very soon. If I buy the software now and install in my current computer, when I buy a new one, I can't install the new with the same license free of charge?

    I want to buy the Photoshop now, but I'm pretending to change my computer very soon. If I buy the software now and install in my computer run, when I buy a new one, I can't install the new with the same license free of charge?

    Did you want to say «which intends "instead of"pretend"?»  Assuming you did, the short answer is Yes.

    If you purchase a perpetual license for Photoshop CS6, you want to deactivate the software on your old system before installing it on your new system.

    If your goal is to reach the creative cloud, all you have to do is disconnect on the old system and the newspaper in the new system during the new installation of creative cloud with your Adobe ID

    I don't know where you intend to purchase your license, but I suggest on sources other than Adobe themselves.  There are a lot of fakers / scammers out there.

  • Gestures of Drag-press release with target nodes

    Hello

    I need a way to receive events to slide on a target node then started from another (source) node drag gesture... As described here: http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-16916
    "The main use to examine cases is a wiring diagram - an application that allows to press a single node and drag a 'son' to another node. With the simple gesture of RDP, it is difficult to find the target node. Drag / move can be used for this, but he spends any application in a completely different way - different sliders, responses of different node, etc. - which is not always desirable. "

    According to this point, JavaFX supports already of the nodes of the target Drag-press release:
    http://JavaFX-JIRA.Kenai.com/browse/RT-16916

    I created a simple application, receiving an event on my goal, but I'm unable to receive events:
    package pressdragreleasewithtargets;

    import javafx.application.Application;
    import javafx.event.ActionEvent;
    import javafx.event.EventHandler;
    import javafx.scene.Scene;
    import javafx.scene.input.MouseEvent;
    import javafx.scene.layout.StackPane;
    import javafx.scene.paint.Color;
    import javafx.scene.shape.Circle;
    import javafx.stage.Stage;

    /**
     *
     * @author
     */
    public class PressDragReleaseWithTargets extends Application {

        /**
         * @param args the command line arguments
         */
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            launch(args);
        }

        @Override
        public void start(Stage primaryStage) {
            primaryStage.setTitle("PDR with Target Nodes!");
            Circle circle1 = new Circle(40);
            circle1.setTranslateX(20);
            circle1.setTranslateY(20);
            circle1.setFill(Color.YELLOW);
            Circle circle2 = new Circle(50);
            circle2.setTranslateX(200);
            circle2.setTranslateY(20);
            circle2.setFill(Color.RED);

            circle1.setOnMouseDragEntered(new EventHandler<MouseEvent>() {
                @Override
                public void handle(MouseEvent event) {
                    System.out.println("circle1: onMouseDragEntered");
                }
            });
            circle2.setOnMouseDragOver(new EventHandler<MouseEvent>() {
                @Override
                public void handle(MouseEvent event) {
                    System.out.println("circle2: onMouseDragOver");
                }
            });

            StackPane root = new StackPane();
            root.getChildren().add(circle1);
            root.getChildren().add(circle2);
            primaryStage.setScene(new Scene(root, 600, 450));
            primaryStage.show();
        }
    }
    I expect to receive an event onMouseDragOver by "circle2" when I start a drag gesture from somewhere in the scene, then drag the slider to "circle2". However, nothing happens...

    Am I missing something?

    Hello, the comprehensive PDR gesture (including the target nodes) must be activated manually, should not be held in absentia. You must do this:

            circle1.setOnDragDetected(new EventHandler() {
                @Override public void handle(MouseEvent event) {
                    circle1.startFullDrag();
                }
            });

    Please don't be crazy on me, but in my opinion, this is the wrong place for your question. The fact is that Toshiba doesn't support Windows 2003 server for mobile computing. If you have problems try again with Microsoft.
    As a manufacturer of operating system, they should be able to offer an explanation for each error message. Sorry, but I see no connection between the problems described and Toshiba as a hardware manufacturer.

  • Can I downgrade Satellite C875-13F of Win8 to Win7 with the same license?

    I bought a Satellite C875-13F in hury with 8 to WIN, but I would go back to win7. Is this possible with the same license code?

    With greetings, Aart

    Hello

    Check out this Microsoft page to understand the downgrade right:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/OEM/en-GB/licensing/sblicensing/pages/downgrade_rights.aspx#fBid=6jf3dZU2VW0

    Windows 8 * Pro * includes downgrade rights to:
    Windows 7 Professional
    Windows Vista Business

    I think you win 8 and is NOT Pro... so you canoe downgrade... you must purchase a license for Win 7

  • Problem with formula node

    Hello

    I'm using LabVIEW 2012 and there seems to be a problem with the node of the formula. The output of a simple no operation is not correct.

    I have an input U8, whose value is 255. I apply a no operation (a = ~ a and the value returned by the formula node is also 255.)

    Is this a bug in the node or there at - it another way to calculate the bit DO NOT level?

    Thank you

    Ritesh

    You must use the function or exclusive.  So what you really need, is:

    a = a ^ 0xFF

    EDIT: Dig even more, it is called a 'top-up bit.  I consider cela a bug.  I see the same thing with 2011.
