DMA2200 Support H264

Hello world

I just bought DMA2200 Media Center Extender and connected to my Vista Ultimate PC. I can watch the blu - ray rip mkv movies in my pc (both media player and media center), but not in DMA2200. I've updated the firmware to 1.1.12.

Is it possible to watch movies H264? Because I read that the DMA2200 H264 support.

Your help will be appreciated.

Thank you very much

Hello

Based on this article from linksys, the DMA2200 does not support the MKV container. Try to convert the H.264 format, but with an AVI container.

I hope this helps.

    Hello guys

I have a question about the video streaming on Safari. H264 unsupported in my browser?

I want to see my https://live.amaryllo.eu/amaryllolive.html security camera, but he says that this browser does not support H264 streams. Is there a workaround?

With the help of the latest OSX.

Safari and QuickTime are supported H.264 since 2005.

I can see your H.264 files, but I also block Flash so your Flash videos do not work for me.

  • DMA2200 on PC-monitor does not work?

    Hello

Well I have except the fact that the DMA2200 support not the VOB files, that the dvd drive is not region free and I had to reverse the mistakes of codes avi using the FourCC change codec, I'm surprised that I'm not able to see anything on a standard PC monitor.

At first, I plugged the Componet video output (Y, Pb, Pr) of my DMA2200 directly on the vga input of the monitor (Dell 1900FP) with a cable special nine, but I saw just nothing more than a black screen. I changed the monitor for a LG Flatron L222WS monitor told me that the frequency was out of reach... Certain signals does not cross?

But as the DMA2200 has a HDMI output that welland the Dell1900FP supports DVI - D Dual Link entry too, I. The 1900FP has a resolution of 1280 x 1024 and it can be run up to 75 Hz, 60 Hz it's native refresh rate. So, I went back to the store and bought a HDMI<->DIV - D Single Link cable.

    Only one? Yes, why not!

DVI dual link as its name suggests has drivers more than the single link DVI for signal transmission. Single link DVI supports a maximum bandwidth of 165 MHz (1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, 1280 x 1024 at 85 Hz) and use 12 of the 24 pins available. Dual link DVI uses all 24 pins available and supports a maximum bandwidth 2 x 165 MHz (2048 x 1536 at 60 Hz, 1920 x 1080 at 85 Hz).

So, I plugged the HDMI<->DVI - D on the DMA2200, the Dell1900FP monitor and the monitor directly on channel 2: digital input. But... a black screen again. As I left the monitor rescanning the entrance, he tells me "Please press any key of the mouse button. It seems that the monitor sees a digital signal, but expected more... hmm... what to do?

I tried to use NTSC (instead of our PAL) on the DMA2200 menu as the frequency changes, but it does not work. I also used all of the selections of entry on the DMA2200-menu (like composite-sd and hd). Normally, the HDMI options is grayed out and uses the default Auto option; but in composite-hd, my old TV mode (connected by SCART) turns black, but can still use the menu on the screen before the DMA and am able to change the HDMI settings, like 480 720 (if I remember correctly) and 1080 p (progressive format) and 1080i (interlaced). I hoped a solution here, but maybe it's just not my day.

    Then.

Y at - there anyone out there that can help me to get a picture on the monitor? Whether vga or dvi - d... Please...

Your Dell LCD and DMA2200 not being able to understand/sync between them with a direct DVI connection you could try to put a device inbetween them so that your Setup program can work. Try this device, basically, you connect the DMA2200 using RCA cables to the KWorld device and this KWorld device is then connected to your Dell LCD screen.

    See you soon.

    6000 MXP F9.1.2

    GST 2.2

Problems with the video duel of CTS 3210 to any machine MXP. The TP does send that video or content not both. MXP send video footage or content, not both.

Have tested with C-series and Movi to and from the MXP so the TP room without problems.

I guess it's a question of BFCP. What I don't know is what (VCS, CUCM, ends) device or / and a known issue with MXP.

The addition of GST in the equation manages video duel without problem and is the workaround.

    Thank you

    Hi Chris,

It is unfortunately a limit between the two products. The problem is that the CTS unit only supports h264 video for content and the MXP supports only the h263/h261 so the second channel will never negotiate correctly. The TPS avoids this transcoding between the two formats.

Have you tried to use the presentation setting switched on the CTS, it could improve the user experience.

    Thank you

  • StageVideo for IOS

After much research, I've got StageVideo working in my IOS app.

See the tutorial posted here: http://01am.co.UK/comment/2

However, I have no sound. The file mp4 itself contains audio (when played in Quicktime) but said nothing when played in my IOS app.

Is there something I need to do to activate the sound of StageVideo? Has anyone else had similar problems?

I always use AAC audio mp4 and it works very well. Can you go in the audio settings and validate the settings you have selected? As you export 48 kHz or 44 kHz?

You may a link to this video, you can post here or share in private message? I can get the audio from the video and look them over.

I assure you there is a lot of support h264 mp4 on iOS and I have never actually seen a mp4 iOS could not play perfectly, so I'm curious.

I also ProTools (no Adobe products) that I use to encode my mp4s. I could encode your video for you, if it's not too big. I can tell you the settings used to produce it as well. I use other tools to code the lack of change of scene auto-keyframing in adobe media encoder. It's a good all around encoder, but it gets not as small files that a pro encoder can.

On a last ticket if you are linking to the video via a web browser, is not StageVideo. It is similar because it is rendered GPU, but is a little different in implementation.

    I just got a Zodak zi8.

When I try to import the MOV files, the importer reports a "generic" error

They play in Quicktime format, they play in Windows Media.

They simply fit in Premiere Pro 1.5.

I searched through the forums, but can find no answers.

I can't use these files in first?

  • Codec used live streaming

    Hi all

I work with the live broadcast for a few weeks, using flash.media.Camera and flash.net.NetStream class. I have not found any place where the codec is specified, which is used to encode live stream.

Anyone know what codec is used, and if there is a possiblitiy of using the H264 codec for live streaming? I found that the live broadcast with the h.264 codec seems to be possible with the encoder flashmedia (http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/flashmediaencoder/). Is this possible with flash player only?

    Thanks for your help,

    Marc

    Hi Marc,

Flash Player does not support H264 encoding. Only video codec supported by Flash Player is Sorenson and it supports two audio - Nellymoser and Speex codecs.

So, if you need H264, you use GFFE or any other partner supported encoders.

  • Installer of DMA2200 - Center support looking for driver (new installation)

I just came home with my new DMA2200 and I get through most of the media center install but when it installs and checking the items off it hits "Configuration of the extension settings" and a dialog box saying Windows new hardware found opens and asks me to locate the driver.  There is no driver on the CD and nothing in windows.

If I skip this section of hardware installation does not finish the installation

    Help!

OK, I got than that, for some reason any even thought the "Search subfolders" box has been checked, the found new hardware wizard was not performing the System32 folder.  I did there and bingo, all work.  I wonder if it was something to do with indexed locations?

However, it would have been much easier if Linksys put the drivers on their website

  • Toshiba 46YL863G - emits MPEG2 and H264 streams

    Hello everyone,

I am using Toshiba REGZA 46ty9175ch (46YL863G) and problems streaming MPEG2 and H264 of any popular network in this REGZA DLNA server.

    (1) is someone for example, work the PLEX for REGZA profile?

    (2) does anyone have working ffmpeg parameters that would be transcode AVI/MKV MPEG2 or H264 that would be playable by REGZA on DLNA?

I'm looking for google since January and have unsuccessfully. It seems that nobody has discovered the right settings to make this work. It drives me crazy and I'm really satisfied with the product at the moment.

AVI and MKV plays fine for a USB drive, but lack the streaming support for these formats is really big indescribable today.

Could someone from Toshiba support guys take some time and after TV profile for popular DLNA servers as PLEX, Twonky, MiniDLNA or mailed to the ffmpeg for H264 or MPEG2 transcoding settings that work?

Who could help me (a probably others too) much.

    Thank you
    Slawomir

    1. code decodiering are available on TV in itself, only a few more early Toshiba Regza LCDTV missing to play DTS sound on MKV. but this problem can be solved by converting MKV movie sound in AC3 DTS... the last series of Toshiba covered and resolved this issng. they can play the DTS sound in MKV format.

2 - DLNA server on PC the best and easy to use Nero MediaHome 4 too and there already can found on the web for download via turrent.

  • 55VL900a TV play Mp4 H264/VAC port USB loses Audio Sync during playback of video

    Hi all...

I have a problem with my TV (55VL900a). I would like to convert all my video media type that both my Ipad and my TV can play. So far I have not been able to find a combination that plays on both.

I'm close, when convert a MP4 (container) file using the Codec H264 / AAC audio, it plays perfectly on my Mac and on my Ipad, but when I play via the USB port on my TV the sound synchronization and progressively worse fate gets more through video, I get. I find a few words on the 70 minutes mark the file becomes a watchable.

Interestingly, when I even convert video to mkv contatiner (also H264 / AAC) is no problem. Plays perfect. What is good in what I used the TV, but bad in that I need two copies of everything, 1 for TV one for the Ipad.

My Question is, is how much the TV is... ? Other people have this problem or is it my that defective TV. ?

Some would like to help... Thank you guys.

    > Interesting fact, when I even convert video to mkv contatiner (also H264 / AAC) no problem

In [Manual VL900A | http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/file/product/manual/5187/55VL900A.pdf] (page 70) you will find a list of files and codecs that are supported in my internal media player formats.

If you want to use the MP4 media format, the codec supported are:
    _ * Video * _
    H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC)
    Part12 MPEG-4: 14
    * Audio _ * _
    MPEG-1/2 Layer 3
    MPEG-2/4 AAC LC
    MPEG-4 HE - AAC
