  Thank you for posting.  You will need to download the DirectX 9 .0c and install it to the necessary file added to your system.  It will not replace DirectX 10, but you give the necessary file to make your game work.  I have included the link below to download.

The Profile Manager is a separate download?  -No - I think.  Thus, you prefer to buy the el Capitan Server version.

  I can't help you with the trend, but from memory, you must allow it's Installer to download to facilitate the download and installation etc.
