Do not 1 website

Very strange problem.  I cannot get to the target RedCard management website https://rcam.target.com/ from my PC.  The message I get is:

This page cannot be displayed
  • Make sure that the web address https://rcam.target.com is correct.
  • Navigate to the page with your search engine.
  • Refresh the page in a few minutes.
  • Make sure that the TLS and SSL protocols are enabled. Go to tools > Internet Options > advanced > settings > Security

Below is a list of behaviors and troubleshooting:

  1. I have 3 computers.  I am able to get on the aforementioned site of both of them, but not my main computer.  The message I get is above.
  2. I tried other sites of credit cards / Bank and have no problem.
  3. The computer where I can't get on the site, I can't not to him to IE, Firefox or Chrome.  It is NOT browser specific.
  4. I tried ping the particular site from a command window.  It does not work.
  5. I disabled my firewall to test - still not get to it
  6. I uninstalled my security suite to test - still not getting, so therefore not due to my firewall/security software
  7. I ran Malware Bytes and it did not find anything.
  8. I did a scan complete antivirus, and it did not find anything.
  9. I have VPN'd in my work network, and surprisingly, I PEUX access. It throws me, since it suggests that this is nothing to do with the computer itself or the software, but something to do with the ISP or IP address.
  10. I emptied my dns.  Still not bring to the Web page.
  11. Last time, I was able to connect was sometime before 2/14.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Dan

  • Is it possible to change the behavior of the URL bar so that it performs a DNS lookup on the entry that is clearly not a website? (I want to search :)

Chrome, for example, does not perform a DNS lookup if the entry is not a valid Web site, instead, it searches in the default search engine.

I think that if the bar URL have behaved in a similar way, it would increase by many user experience. I really like Firefox and using it for a few years, but these are things that really annoy me as a developer.

The one big flaw that I find in the Chrome version of manages the entrances to bar URL is that one cannot add custom Chrome of top level domains, which makes working with top level domain websites internal quite annoying.

You can also add a ((one letter) to a search engine keyword and use the keyword in the address to select/use bar a specific search engine.)

  • Browsers don't load not specific websites - MacBook

I have Safari, Chrome and Firefox installed on my MacBook Pro El Capitan 10.11.3 running. I can access websites like Google, facebook, wikipedia, twitter, all very well. But for many smaller Web sites and Web sites of news, pages not be loading not on any browser. Even this forum had trouble loading.

If I log in as a Safari comments only, I can access all Web sites very well.

    Things I've tried:

    1. Flush DNS
    2. Browser specific stuff like clear the cache of the browser, plugins, etc.
    3. SystemConfiguration folder deleted
    4. Opendns and google DNS change
    5. Creates a new user
    6. Turned off firewall and antivirus
    7. Tried another network - same issue going on at work, home and cafeteria
    8. IPv6 disabled
    9. created the new network location (for some reason strange right when I do this pages will load sometimes, but then immediately the question back to the top)

None of this solves the problem.

I read on other posts that this issue is caused by antivirus software. Other ESET I can't find any which other antivirus I have installed. I run ESET antivirus and I installed it for more than a year. I have turned it off with no luck.

One strange thing I noticed is if I open the web Inspector in chrome and watch the network, all of the image files tab (jpg, PNG, etc.) are not loaded from the server. They are all hanging left on sites where I encounter this problem. I tried this on a dozen different sites.

I'll just do a complete reinstall but I wanted to come here first to see if anyone has more ideas.

    Help, please!

    I'll try to uninstall Eset.

  • G50-30 Windows 8 parental does not block websites

I just bought a laptop Lenovo G50-30 for my child, but after that I set up with parental controls, I discovered that Microsoft's parental control blocks all websites on my child's account. I tried to create multiple children accounts; I tried to create an account for local child; I tried the factory reset. and I tried troubleshooting Microsoft fix. None of them solved the problem. My assumption is that a third-party program is breaking the parental control of Microsoft, but I can't know which program is the cause. I uninstalled Mcafee and disabled other programs to run, but it does not solve the problem. A that someone has experienced this problem and found a solution?

For someone who is interested, I discovered that McAfee LiveSafe has a parental control feature Family Safety of this Microsoft ignores. Once I enabled it worked fine. I didn't use good McAfee and I had previously uninstalled without solving the problem, so this time I tried to uninstall it and then ran McAfee product removal tool and then parental control of Microsoft has worked well.

  • I do not see the history of my site in my navigation bar (only Web site icon and not the website link). How to cancel it?

Before I upgraded to the latest version of firefox, I could see the history of my Web site in the navigation bar. By that I mean I could see the real links and I could move everyone to see that I wanted to visit. Now, these links do not exist (or if they are, they are not visible to me) and I cannot see the icon of the Web site and cannot see what link is by actually selecting. How to cancel it?

Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

  • App works locally but not on website

    Hello

I have a Java application that was built by a third party, and my job is to get this on a web site. To do this, I had a snippet of HTML code, one. JAR and da. DAT file which seems to be called by the app. I tested it locally on my computer and it works well. After downloading to the web server, I get an error message

    NumberFormatException
    For input string: "i>>?<html>"

(the question mark is actually upside down, the > > really is a character)

At first glance, this looks like a common problem with UTF-8 file run when the file itself contains only ANSI characters (or vice versa). So I made sure that the. HTM and the. DAT file are stored in 8-bit ANSI (and not 16-bit Unicode) format. However, this does not solve the issue. The. File HTM itself also holds the ISO-8859-1 directive. The server prepares to deliver UTF - 8 by default. I can't change that because of a huge field of other dependencies.

So I do not know if my suspicion is correct - is it in fact a question of character? Or is it something else? And what options I have to fix that before returning to the authors of original code (a bulky, not because I expect to be unable to speak to the developer, but may instead need to go through layers of bureaucracy and the need to explain the technical problem over and over again).

BTW: the test file is on http://www.neusob.de/karlskron/gemeinde/probestimmzettel.htm

Appreciate any help and the thought that you could provide.

    THX
    Hubert

Look, your applet wants to load the file http://www.neusob.de/karlskron/gemeinde/bewerber.dat

This file does not exist on the web server. Follow the URL and you will see that the web server provides an HTML stream instead telling you that it cannot find the requested file.

Your code tries to parse the HTML and fails, as it attempts to decode a number (NumberFormatException!), where there is none.

  • When Mozilla online banking does not permit me to see the details of a transaction so that Internet Explorer will allow it. Mozilla has been done, but not now.

I do my banking online with Bank of America, usually using Mozilla Firefox. Recently I noticed when I clicked on a banking transaction to see the "details" or print only this particular operation, it only allows me to see the details.

Previously, whenever I clicked on a transaction, to see the image of a control I wrote for example, he always brought to the top of an image of the cheque. Now, he won't do it.

If I use Internet Explorer, I can click on a specific bank transaction and see the details, exactly how I used to be able to do this with Mozilla Firefox.

Therefore, the problem is with Mozilla and not the website of Bank of America, right?
