  • Apps de Metro de Windows 8 Pro cannot connect to internet after the first reboot

    Hello

I have recently installed Windows 8 Pro x 64 OEM, and I noticed after awhile that my store, Stocks, Weather, News,... cannot connect to the internet more. However, all other applications work.
Even more strange, after installing all the updates, I noticed that I can navigate with my IE on the desktop, but not a single party of metro?
Long story short, after several relocations (refresh option), I've noticed as a result of behavior:
    1. during the first start after installation, EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECTLY. I can browse, look at the weather, everything store.
    2. when I restart the computer and any time after that, is STOP WORKING.
Another thing I noticed was that his (SoundBlaster Audigy) card didn't work the first time, but after rebooting, it worked, so I guess something happened after the first reboot?
It was a clean install (OEM version) and Windows are activated, and I tried signing in with or without live account (no difference).
Help me please, since this is quite irritating :(

    Hello

    I finally found the problem.
The invisibility of the active network has pushed me towards the answer.
biggest mistake I made was using the option refresh windows, because it was useless for my troubleshooting.
By mistake I chose my first install, public internet connection and the course of the updating of the system did not ask see me that.
In defining the private connection after clean installation (No refresh, brute force reinstall) makes everything work after reboot and completely solved the problem for me.
Why the network does not disappear after reboot? It's something weird, and it shouldn't happen!
The resolution of network problems found no problem, because the internet connection worked, but he had no problem with no network also appear or metro apps does not.
This should be corrected, as it would be a great help in this scenario.
TL; DR: Make sure you set your connection on the private sector, or windows becomes crazy and your metro applications do not work (and I also noticed that visual studio could not deploy projects in this scenario, but that's another story).
  • Upgrade Windows 8 Pro blocked after the first reboot

I have a HP Media Center PC m7470n. When I upgraded with Windows 8 Pro disc, after the first reboot, it gets stuck on the Windows form with turning points. He's not going back to XP and when I stop and restart, he goes right back to the same screen. I tried to boot from a hard drive and CD ROM with the disc in. I also tried to do a system restore, but it still maintains just that goes back to the same screen. , I even contacted Microsoft Support and after 1 1/2 hours, I had to let go because I had to go to work and they do not have a solution for me. I am not able to go in Mode safe either. Can someone help me with this update or at least get back to XP so that I can at least use my computer? At the moment I feel that Windows 8 Pro comes to have my computer in an oversize weight.

  • Problem to save the changes to the register at the next reboot

    Hello

I've been infected 2 days ago and Windows Update does more (error code 80246008). So I cleaned the files corrupted with MicrosoftFixit found on the Web.

Finally, I got the BITS service works again with the next batch, who calls himself the file 'BITS.reg ': program

SC create BITS binpath = "c:\windows\system32\svchost.exe-k netsvcs" = delayed auto start
    Regedit /s c:\Users\fab\Desktop\BITS. REG
    net start bits
    rmdir /q /s %windir%\SoftwareDistribution
    regsvr32 /s c:\windows\system32\wuaueng.dll
    regsvr32 /s wuaueng1.dll
    regsvr32 /s atl.dll
    regsvr32 /s c:\windows\system32\wups.dll
    regsvr32 /s wups2.dll
    regsvr32 /s wuweb.dll
    regsvr32 /s c:\windows\system32\dllcache\wucltui.dll
    net start wuauserv

I have run this command as an administrator file and the BIT key appears in the registry with Windows Update work very well.

The problem is that the changes in the registry is not taken into account for the next boot of Windows 7
: I no longer see the BIT key and I have to run this program bacth whenever there is a new startup of Windows 7.

Is it a straight issue of permissions on this key? I have change the owner as an administrator?

    Here is the BITS.reg file:

    Any help would be appreciated

Maybe the virus or parts of it is still there. Here are some tests I ran:

    • Reboot safe mode to check if the problem persists.
    • Restart in Repair Mode, and then load the system hive (probably located on drive C :) to check if the key has survived the shutdown process.
    • Create the artificial key HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BITSTest and fill it with some values and data to see if the problem affects a new key or if it focuses on the BITS.
My own attitude is that an infected machine is a compromised machine. I don't have the time or patience to do battle with these facilities.
  • Service "XE" disappeared after the first reboot

Hello, I am facing a strange problem, maybe you can help me.

I installed oracle XE version 10.2.0 on Centos 5.0 as root
the installation went well and everything worked for me, but after I rebooted my machine
I can't connect to the DB from a remote computer and also I can not access to the
DB home page (http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex) on my local machine.

I tried to study the question, and I found something strange.
After the installation (when everything was still working).
the command 'lsnrctl_status' gave this result:

  • Legends, after the next slide

We have captions on some custom buttons to display the text explaining a topic when the button is selected. The legend set for 3 seconds. If the following custom button is selected before 3 seconds past, the legend follows on the next slide. Y at - it an option to close the text captions when you click on it, given that with the audio?

I almost hate to ask this question. Maybe it's my & quot; duh & quot; time of the day.

    Donna

    Hi jbradley88,
The legends of success and failure have properties that need to be addressed individually (legend of the slide right-click and select properties).

I utilise.8 seconds for my success of legends and keep the text a word or two (* Good Job! *, or * very good *, or simply * correct *). This time is a lot for the eye/brain to absorb feedback, while not long enough for * delay * in the next slide.

Like the legends of the failure, they can also be long I love, assuming that the slide is not to advance until the action is * correct *, because they are often designed to give many comments before attempting the user, once more, to perform the correct action. FWIW.

Thank you for your time in typing this out, but just before you posted this I've thought about it. It was actually the Audio driver that was originally to fail. After that I took the Audio driver on my part of MDT, it ends now Imaging.

ICloud Photos have been added to the library on your Mac. The two libraries are now identical. You can't separate them.

Restore the version that you had before you allowed iCloud library since the last Time Machine backup you made before you iCloud photo library, if your backups far enough in time.

I run sfc/scannow;  results. resource protection finds files corrupted and managed to fix it. System file repair changes will take effect after the next reboot. but after the restart without change, I run sfc/scannow and files are always corrupt

system not finish booting and stuck at halfway. Also the programs would not open. I had installed some drivers from the Asus download site. before it began. so I uninstalled it, but no help, then I ran the SFC scan who gave me the message about corrupted files, I ran a system restore and everything works although now I have same re installed all the updates except some Akami download which was also offered on the Asus downloads thanks. for your quick response

  • A virtual CD drive junk keeps reappearing after each start up

I have a virtual CD drive created in my laptop Win 7 Pro x 64. The virtual CD drive is listed in Device Manager under the form FvFx CDDVDFx + tech-200 SCSI CDROM device. Its pilots are listed as cdrom.sys and PxHelpa64.sys
If I uninstall it, it reappears after the next startup. I guess that this is a left over of some software that creates or manages CD virtual drives, which I installed a little more in recent months, but all have been uninstalled and I don't currently have one of these programs installed.
    How can I permanently delete?
    Thank you

    Hello
    I do not know.
But it seems that I found a post with the solution. Here is the link:
    http://Club.myce.com/F59/virtual-drives-seen-physical-drives-154146/
As he suggests, I deleted the device, the SCSI controller and the enumerator of the BIOS and it finally disappeared!
    Thanks anyway
