Document scanning

Hello.

Earlier, I had a photosmart hp 5510. Now, I bought a 7520. How can I scann a document to a PDF file and the file of the photo No.

Hello

How far from your computer to your printer? As mentioned above: scan from computer will give you more options and you can see better than on a tiny screen. Scan of the computer, users always have the opportunity to scan the document into pdf file. Must be something missing in the installation process. What is the operating system on your computer? I'm talking Windows. Do you need to scan in PDF now (for Windows) or you can wait. If now, please use the following software:

http://en.pdf24.org/PDF-Creator-download.html

Install on a Windows computer, and less than 5 minutes you can open it to analyze (import from a scanner). If your machine has OCR software, you can also open and scan.

Kind regards.

  • Can not stop "auto crop" documents, scan on my HP Photosmart C7280 all-in-one

I use a HP Photosmart C7280 all-in-one to scan documents.   My OS is Windows 7 64 bit.   I have used this configuration since January 2012 and my problem has just started in the last 30 days.  I did not any changes to the system except for the automatic updates of Windows coming out.

I unchecked the box "automatically Crop scanned Documents" in the Advanced Document settings, but as soon as I scanned a page, the checkbox appears in the box again (in itself!) and it will automatically crop a bad document.

No idea why this is happening and what I can do about it?

    Thanks for your help.

Not really sure what caused it, but looks like the setting has glitched somewhere along the way and will be set when past.  Try unintalling to reinstall a new download.  Let me know what happens.

  • Document scanning on HP DeskJet 4180 but does not OCR

HP DeskJet 4180 9.0 OCR software with HP (IRIS) scans the document, but does not OCR. I have the gray value default values and sends the output of Wordpad. I tried everything suggested that HP and reinstalled software twice. What Miss me?

With the help of Windows Vista (32-bit) on a HP Pavilion desktop computer. No error message. No text appears in Wordpad.

    Thank you.

The scanner does excellent analysis of images. The options that he has had were paint, printer, E-mail, Photoimpression 4, HP Photosmart Essential 2.01, copy to the Clipboard, Wordpad and save to file. I tried to copy to the Clipboard, Wordpad and save a file without success.

I have now acquired Readiris Pro 11 and that solved the problem. I can now deal with OCR on a text image scanned with the results that I want... to editable text.

Thanks for trying. I don't know what was wrong with the original OEM software, but the problem is now resolved.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 has more: document scanning

Several pages to the computer and save it as a file, but now he won't, until Apple upgrades my Officejet Pro 8500 has more opportunity to scan the whole of a scan of the page at a time.

How to scan a document of several pages under the name of a file?

    Hi @Pinnacleport,

I read your post and to see that since the upgrade to El Capitan, you are no longer able to scan several copies of a file. I will do my best to help you with this problem. If this helps you to find a solution, please click on the button "Accept as Solution" down below in this message. If you want to say thanks for my effort to help, click on the 'Thumbs Up' to give me a Kudos.

I checked the site and the drivers are installed by the Mac drivers preinstalled. HP printers - installing a printer driver Mac using Apple Software Update.

Check the name of the driver that is installed by the printer. Make sure that it shows just the name of the printer.
Click on the Apple menu, click System Preferences. Click on Printers & Scanners, highlight the name of the printer on the left side and right side of the screen it should show the name of the printer. (Officejet Pro 8500 has more)

If the full name of the printer is not correctly, delete and add the printer name back from the list. Click on the sign - to remove the driver and then click on the + sign to add the driver might have to drop-down list to select the name of the printer to add a click.

What application are you using to scan with?

The only way you can save several pages in a single file is in PDF format. JPEG and other formats will save multiple documents as separate pages. In the printing and scanning window, select PDF and check combine in one document below.

I hope this helps. If there is anything else I can help you, let me know. Thank you.

  • DeskJet 3051 has Multiple Page Document Scan Question

I have a printer HP Deskjet 3051 a, scanner, copier.  I run Windows 7 Home Premium.  Is it possible to scan a document that is several pages long and save them in a file?  I have to lift the cover for each other, or I can load them into the paper tray and I have them automatically drawn by?  Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello

His maunal from the link shows you have lift the cover to scan.

    (a) you have a high-end printer that has an ADF or able papers power automatically.

    (b) what are the exit?  They are pdf files? If so, you can try a product called PDFsam. You can download from the following link:

    http://www.PDFSam.org/?page_id=32

This free product allows you to split a large file to many small files (such as the extraction of the chapters of a thick book) and also to Merge multiple PDFs into a pdf file.

    Kind regards.

  • How can I put documents scanned on email? I see where the items are stored and I started an email.

This is first time trying to send attachments (if that's what I'm supposed to do with the scanned documents) digitized images and documents.  I started an email and click on the attachments, but?

What email program are you using? When you start a new message, there should be a button join, or maybe in the Menu bar: Insert | Attachment? Just 'Browse' to the location you saved the file and double-click it. You may be able to simply drag the file in the new message window and it attaches itself.
