Does not print photos

Not new computer windows 10 photos of LR print. Printer works fine, but LR and printer do not seem to communicate. Help, please.

Hi jeanm64055899,

Could you please let us know if you are able to print from other applications outside of Lightroom.

Also what version of Lightroom that you are using, and have you checked in the settings Lightroom printer, if the correct printer and paper profile is selected.

Kind regards

Tanuj

  • HP Photosmart 7515 does not print photos I have photo of the photo on the printer tray.

I can print text documents and when I print I-photo images they print from the main paper tray (so I know I have computer/connection of the printer).  I use a mac I have w/OS X 5.8 and I installed the printer drivers from the CD-ROM supplied with the printer.  I also tried selecting the format of 4 x 6 paper and selecting "print from the photo tray" in the built-in tab of the menu print.  I also selected print tray photo from the tab 'type of paper/quality' in the menu printing.  When I do this and go to print jobs, I get "print page 1, 0% complete" and it never changes, nor it does not print.  How to print photos from my computer to the photo tray?

    Hello

I ask you to print from the printer itself by using the memory card.

  • Printer does not print photos

The printer is a Photosmart C5180. I just moved and reconnected my system. Now the printer will not print photos. I'm going to the State of the printer and it shows the order for print and says it's printing but the printer does not respond. It print documents, just no pictures. Also, when I say the printer window state to remove the print order photo it says it is deleting, but it doesn't.

What operating system? You print photos from which program?

Running the diagnostics to http://www.hp.com/go/tools can help solve the problem.

  • After the updates of the laptop, printer does not print photos

Until yesterday, I had no problem with printing photos from my laptop.  Automatic updates have been made, and now I can't print photos.  There is no problem with printing documents well.  The office prints documents and pictures ok.

Now for some reason any cell phone shows a new and different screen for printing.  I click on the image to print, but after a minute, it goes back to the screen asking me how I want to print my photos.

My laptop is Dell with Vista.  I have a wireless connection to the printer: printer is HP photosmart c5580 all-in-one and it is connected to a desktop Dell with XP.  I had this setup for well over a year with no problems.  It seems that something in the updates yesterday can cause a problem.  Please help I need to print these photos as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

  • envy7640: want 7640 printer does not print photos on plain paper

All of a sudden, I can't print a picture on plain paper - guard asks me to load the photo paper tray, even though preferences set for plain paper printing and plain paper is selected in the print window.  (These are not photos but documents scanned in JPEG format by others, so I just want what they free paper).  Regular printing and all other functions work fine.

First of all, I use pictures of MS Office or Windows Photo Viewer Manager or just called photo library.  All three seem to be essentially the same program with different names and are pretty basic.

The setting in my default printer via control center/devices/Printers Windwos options has always been the main tray (and has always been), so I thought that everyone must be thin and thought why this person tell me to do what I've done?

So I dug deep into the programs print options and indeed saw the photo tray has been chosen.  The real mystery is how, in these programs, the status bar setting went from main to photo. I did that, and I don't see how he could have accidentally changed. You see, I have photos properly printed on plain paper before using these programs, so I know - now - that they should have been put to the main tray.  Maybe I'll never know.

But no matter, you answer prompted me to explore more deeply, and voila, all is well now.

    Thank you.

  • *!#@!! Printer does not print photos (8620 Pro)

OK, I was screwing around for this for 2 hours and I can't print on photo Paper in the printer. It prints on plain paper - but not photo paper.

I have a brand new 8620 Pro of Officejet and it will not be printed to 8.5 "x 11 photo". I went and set the size of the media & print by default. Whenever I try to print, it grinds for a while and then says that I don't have the book of good size.

Once again... no problem if I print on plain paper.

    Here are the details:

    -Officejet Pro 8620

    -Windows 7 Professional - 64 bit

    -Professional photo paper Officemax, 8.5 x 11 "

-Printing I tried Windows - FAIL Photo Viewer

-J' tried printing from Adobe Photoshop CS6 extended - FAIL

Is it really 2014 and always difficult to print something as simple as a picture?

Hi, try to run through about 25 sheets of format letter from plain paper to clean the roll of decision-making.

  • Printer does not print photos from windows photo gallery

Hello, I have the same problem, just started last night. I want 7640 all-in-one, I have a wireless connection, but he repeats to me ethernet not connected? Uninstall, unplugged, etc etc etc and nothing worked to fix? I go to sites Web and elsewhere and can print, even remotely? My husbands computer is a wired desktop computer that is sharing the printer with me, he said, he did nothing, but I'm not sure about this. I tried to see if I could find a question on her but no luck, is only 2 months.  Please can someone help? Thank you very much for your time and concern.

    Hello

Thank you for using the forum.  You can try the following:

Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR) tool to diagnose and solve your problem

  • Photosmart C8180 does not print photos sometimes partial pages in color, mostly empty.

Printer was working fine, then he struggled, determined that it was ink. Bought new HP genuine cartridges directly at HP, worked for a while until what I put in the new document (genuine HP Advanced), that's when it really started to spoil. Tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver several times, no help.

The problem seems to be in the printer itself, because I tried to print directly from a disc in the drive of the printer, he launched a blank page of photo 4 x 6. Someone please help, this has been a great printer, I want to keep going.

I'll send you a few steps via private message.

  • Photosmart 2610 do not print photos!

I have a Photosmart 2610 all-in-one. I run Windows 7. Recently my printer does not print photos from any photo printing program. It will print things on the web, MS Office, Notepad, etc... The problem seems to be with photos only. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times, tried restarting him spool print and run the HP Diagnostic tool. Nothing has worked. Please help if you can. I'm completely fed up!

    Hello Starjs,

When you print from MS Office if you have a photo and the words on the page, what happens? It print the words and the picture is not.

Pages with just the words and photos not requires less hard drive space than a page that requires printing that has a photo or a large document.

Let's try to run a disk cleanup to see if we can free disk space hard to make sure that it is not the cause of the problem.

    To run Disk Cleanup
  • HP Officejet Pro 8600: Recently a fax pops up when I try to print photos and the picture does not print

We have a printer all-in-one HP Officejet Pro 8600 operating from a desktop HP with Windows 7. Recently, in the last two weeks my wife told me, we cannot print photos. The documents appear to be printed without a problem, but when trying to print a photo we get a window titled 'Send Fax - HP Officejet Pro 8600'. We have never used or even hung fax capablitly since we have owned this printer (maybe 2-3 years). All of a sudden, this window is displayed when we try to print a photo and the photo does not print.  I can't tell you that my wife did not hit accidentally a wrong button somewhere down the line, but she says she does not. I tried to attach a screenshot of the window, but for some reason that it does not take it. It's probably something very simple, but technically challenged myself, I can't understand. Help, please.

    Thank you

    Vince Pellerito

Print picture of what program?  Some programs to keep their own default values for the printer.  It seems that the default printer for the printing of the photo program has been set to Fax.  Try to open the program, select the Officejet Pro 8600 as the printer rather than the Officejet Pro 8600 fax.

    Hello

OEM for the printer manufacturer is responsible for the proper functioning of the printer
and their drivers. Check with the printer manufacturer's support, their online
documentation and drivers and ask in their forums.

Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.

A call back to Epson says my Windows Firewall blocks printing Epson Status Monitor and by disabling the firewall every thing returns to normal.  Turning on the firewall without exception is still no difference and I should contact Microsoft for that matter.

If the application works when the firewall is disabled, but not when the firewall is turned on, so you must create an exception for the application.

I don't know what you mean by "turning on the firewall without exceptions still makes no difference" - no difference of what?

You must determine the name of print Epson Status Monitor, then go to control panel > Windows Firewall (if your control panel is using "Category view", you will find Windows Firewall in the Security Center).

Once in the Firewall dialog box, click the Exceptions tab, click the button "Add a program" and find printing Epson Status Monitor.  If it is not in the list that appears, click on the button "Browse".  After selecting the program and click OK, make sure that on the general tab of the Firewall properties dialog box that the "do not allow the box exceptions" is NOT checked.
