    Hi all

I have been using the Microsoft Optical Desktop Elite for Bluetooth (keyboard/mouse combo) for many years.  Recently, the USB Bluetooth dongle has stopped working.  I checked in Device Manager and I can't see what follows: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »

When I check the details of the driver, it indicates that no driver files have been loaded for the device.  Then I tried to update the driver, but automatic and manual searches have not found anything.  I connected my laptop with the dongle and it works fine.  Based on the details of the driver of the laptop, I was able to identify the drivers and is returned and found on my desktop, but nothing helped.  I feel I tried most of the suggestions online, but the Bluetooth still does not work on the desktop.

Anyone else have similar problems or know how to fix this problem?  Thank you.

    Hello Eric,

    Thank you for the update.

What I wanted was to check updates when you connect the Bluetooth dongle and check if Windows Update find any update for the device under the update option. If it finds one, you can install the update and check.

However, as you have said that your Windows is fully updated. Just to test, try to use the same dongle in any other Windows 7 computer (if possible) and check if it works.

    Let us know the result.

    Thank you.

  • USB Bluetooth v2 driver Vista 64 bit

I'm looking for a driver for Vista 64-bit for USBBT100 - adapter USB Bluetooth

    I don't see even a 64-bit XP driver.

Vista has incorporated recognition of the dongle but does not feature as a recognizing a bluetooth microphone.

    Help if you can, thanks!

For anyone still having trouble with this adapter in XP x 64 or Vista x 32 / x 64, I found a driver that works perfectly.
It is a MSI driver for their bluetooth adapter of "star key".

Before installing this make sure you remove all traces of previous drivers that can be installed. This can be done by clicking with the right button on the device and select uninstall in Device Manager.
If you are prompted, select Delete device drivers in the system.
When it is completed for each bluetooth service, restart the computer and disconnect your computer from the internet - it is to make sure that restart the Windows system not to download and reinstall the device and services.
Now simply launch the installation of the driver package star key, restart and re-establish the internet connection. At the start of that Windows may want to install a generic device, allow it to do.
Initially if all previous drivers have been deleted completely, your Linksys adapter should now work perfectly.

You can download drivers MSI here:
    http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=downloaddetail&type=driver&maincat_no=131&prod_no=100

Note: The driver I have personally installed was star key: WIDCOMM Bluetooth Dongle Driver for Windows Vista, version 6.0.1.3400

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on
Driver update (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right
Click on - uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check

  • Z8000 vs. csr bluetooth 4.0 usb

    Hello

I recently bought a mouse Z8000 I use win8.1 on my desktop a long time ago.

I was surprised that this bluetooth dongle has not been included.

    I bought a dongle compatible bt4.0:

    USB bluetooth 4.0 CSR

When I try to connect to the PC, it recognizes the mouse, but matching stops with an error message:

"The connection has failed because an incorrect code has been entered.

I tried to update the dongle driver, but it is up to date.

I discovered that this mouse didn't need code for matching.

During the pairing process, I don't get a popup to enter the code, just the error at the end.

Mouse pairs with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phone and works, but I bought it for my PC and not my phone...

Now I give up and I want to throw it in the trash. Pls help.

    Thank you

    István Kovács

    Hello

Thanks a lot for the quick response.

I read all these things before they are the basic things that must be checked to implement.

In a menatime, I solved the problem.

The cause of this problem is that this new generation of compatible devices BT4.0 use a new standard.

Most of these new BT dongles has the same chipset: Cambridge Silicon Radio

Windows 8.1 has a generic driver, but it does not support the HID device through the BT4.0 protocol.

A secure connection is supported only when the code during the pairing process. This means that none of the coupling overall would work with these generic driver in the case of HID compatible device.

In short it is software problem. Solution was that I had to find a compatible WIN8.1 software which is able to connect to this mouse as a HID device. It is pilot of BlueSoleil which replaces the driver generic WIN8 and now it works perfectly.

    Thank you & best regards

  • Help with Husqvana transfer 3D for Windows 7 XP

Husqvarna 3d will not be copied in windows 7, you can tell me how I can do this. I want to transfer my embroidery on my Windows 7 and can not. Help!

I've heard XP did put at day end October so need to do very soon.

It is unclear what you mean by "won't copy.  If you're having trouble installing the software 3D of Husqvarna on a Windows 7 system, see--> http://www.joeldare.com/wiki/installing_husqavarna_3d_embroidery_on_windows_vista

Download the files directly from the page with instructions, or the following:

Here's where you get the upgrade patch 7.25 and the "patch Vista dongle"--> http://www.vsmsoftware.net/Registration/3D/Updates.htm

And it is the site of "Other useful software" for the "the Hasp dongle driver'--> http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/ko/8588_4197.htm

Also, see--> http://www.secretsof.com/wp/?p=1433 and note that:

If you bought your professional Husqvarna Viking 3D embroidery system after April 1, 2006, you will be entitled to a free upgrade to the Husqvarna Viking 4 d professional embroidery system; Check your details in the VSM software product registration database. Please ensure that the details of your authorized dealer are also correct, as in most of the cases your free update will be delivered to your favorite retailer.

Finally, Windows XP support must end on April 8, in order to have a little more time than the end of October.

This software (Dell Unified Wireless Suite) as a Wcct.exe is using a lot of CPU on my Latitude E7440.  It's a consitently upper-year 20 to 30 years to low.  It causes the battery take much faster since the unit heats and the fan works.  I can finish the process (Wcct.exe) and everything seems to work very well.

I've run the Dell Client system update utility but it does not seem to be updated for it.  Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with a Dell E6440 laptop. Installed a Siemens software that requires a dongle for security checks. After the dongle driver installed, the WCCT. EXE process started by using 30% more permanently on the CPU usage.

The solution is to uninstall the following Unified Wireless and just use the base wireless driver.

    Here's what I did:

    1. uninstall the driver of the offending dongle (or anything that is in conflict with it)

2 then uninstall the Dell Unified Wireless Suite. This will leave the card driver wireless and will show a 'bang' in Device Manager.

    3. Download driver Dell Wireless but NOT install them via the setup .exe but rather, using winzip or another program to extract the files to any folder (desktop?).

    4. in the Device Manager, click on the NIC 'bang' and right click to "Update driver". Point to the directory with the extracted drivers and let him find the correct driver.

    5. now install the offending software (driver of the dongle in my case).

Hi khalid, if bluetooth Windows 7 driver is not dettect your dongle, you can try like Carlos suggested, or you can try the search at the following address: http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php

It is possible that your dongle uses a Broadcom chipset and therefore the drivers from the page, I pointed out would work for you. You need to download an exe file (3.6 MB of I think) and then run it. (with the dongle is inserted into a USB port) run the exe file you downloaded, and the software itself will try to validate your dongle. If your dongle is validated, then it will download the complete Broadcomm drivers, and you will be able to use your dongle.
Hope this works with your dongle.
    Sergi.
