double-sided 'off' Hp photosmart c309g

Hello

Suddenly the option face two printing is disabled in the settings of page layout and I can not turn on 'ON '.

I use a hp photosmart c309g with mac os x 10.6.7, the face option two worked perfectly so far.

That's me with this question? Any help?

Maybe the printer is not reported as installed.  Check the settings on the front panel of the printer, and then remove and reinstall the duplexer.

I have a HP officejet Pro 8600.  I used to have a small HP but never had this problem.

I agree that in word, you get the box to uncheck if you don't want to double-sided printing. BUT when in Excel, you don't get the same printer option and I can't find anywhere to stop printing double-sided to Excel.  It's so boring.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello
Please follow the steps below for dosed duplex printing:

Go to Excel, click the file menu and select print. The print window is displayed.
NOTE: The print window might be minimized. Click Show details to see all the available parameters.

Click the Copies and Pages in the print dialog box.

    Select layout from the drop-down.

Set the duplex option as Off

You can save the settings for later use by clicking preset > save current settings as preset. By default, a used preset will remain until another preset will be used.

    Hi Eric,.

Could you please specify which documents to include this information? I couldn't find this information anywhere...

The specifications below only list print double-sided and copy (search side or duplex):

  • How to scan double-sided in the order of the pages, in PDF with Photosmart 7520.

    Hello everyone,

I have a Photosmart HP 7520 use with Mac OS Mountain Lion 10.7 connected via Wi - Fi. I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro.

I need to scan double-sided 300 pages in a document. I'm sure that the ADF will bite of it, but if I understand correctly that the 7520 does not scan two-sided (as it prints) if can anyone advise how to on this subject.

To ensure the best possible scan, I thought to scan all pages on one side, then go back and scan in the rest. Otherwise we could force me to edit pages after scanning, which makes a long process. I guess, but don't know how do it, that I could create a PDF and then a second, then using software tools to load the second PDF integrate after each page in the first. Or is there a better way to go about this?

I so want, just to be absolutely clear analysis in a document double face of 300 pages in the most user-friendly and fastest way possible, the end result is probably a 600-page, PDF format.  Please indicate the methods and software tools, I need.

Thank you in advance. Can't wait to put it to work.

Do you use the HP software to scan from the ADF?  On my Windows PC, I have a file called HP printer Assistant or, for some, it's simply scan HP. You can find in your utility Section.  After I open and select scan in one. PDF document from the ADF, I see a box to check the brand which allows me to turn on duplex scanning.  Do you see something like this when you scan on your computer?   I know you said that you use a Mac, so I hope you have this option somewhere.  I'm not very competent in Mac OS, but I'm sure that the term "scanning two-sided" can be found on the appropriate scan utility.  I know it's possible!  Let me know if you find it or not and I do on a Mac computer and research here.

I have already installed the last update of the apple driver

and also checked the firmware on the photosmart 5514 for any update.

When you try to print from the mac (wireless), the option to print double-sided / duplex is always grayed out.

How can I enable this feature?

Note: The product name and number, etc. that can be displayed with this entry are incorrect. I couldn't find a way to change this. I got a hp pavillion windows and a deskjet before moved me to Apple.

    Hello

5514 HP's Photosmart (B111c) does not support duplexing automatic, but only on the model of the B111h don't.

You can perform manual double-sided printing using Pages of printing as shown below:

  • Brand new Photosmart C410A duplexer jams to each double-sided printing

I got a brand new HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-All-in-One Printer-C410a Monday. Today is Wednesday, and I have yet to print a two-sided copy successfully. It will print the first side of a page, pull the paper in the duplex unit, display clear paper jam then press O message, and I'll open the duplexer and remove the paper

Recto pages seem to print very well, but this product every time I try to print double-sided copies - the duplexer has not worked once.

The jammed paper that I am deleting is not torn or badly crumpled, and since he's out of the box for three days now, I can't believe he would already need cleaning. Is there something obvious that I'm missing, or do I just to cart this thing at the store?

(It doesn't seem to be relevant to this problem, but the printer connected via USB to an iMac running the latest update of Lion. I upgraded to good Lion before purchasing this printer, so the only drivers I have are the ones downloaded via Apple Software Update.)

Follow the instructions in cleaning here:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02110413

seems to have solved my problem, at least for now. I'm not clear on why a brand new printer, charge-out-of-the-box if need cleaning to work properly, but if that's all it took, at least, it's a good solution cheap and fairly easy.

  • Photosmart D5360 - double-sided automatic printing is no longer works

I was very happy with my Photosmart D5360 and its automatic two-sided printing.  It was very convenient for printing multiple page. However, as the latest version of the software updates, automatic printing has apparently been cancelled.  One box comes telling me that for two-sided printing, I have to print the odd pages and then put the paper again for even pages.  However, when printing begins, it prints odd pages and moves then on print even pages on new document.  He no longer uses the automatic double-sided printing material at the back of the printer.  The only way I can get real double-sided printing is to print each page individually.  I put a page in the status bar, print the first page, then place it in the tray with the printed side up to print the second page.  Needless to say, it is very heavy and inconvenient.  Totally, it defeats the purpose to have automatic double-sided printing.  Everyone knows this?  Help, please.

Problem is solved.  It was that, when I went to properties and clicked on 'two-sided (Duplex) printing, it would automatically print double-sided.  Now, when I go into properties, I also chose "Automatically" under "print on both sides.  It still works, but they added a step more in the process.

  • PhotoSmart Premium C309a: PhotoSmart Premium C309a in Win10 driver to print double-sided problem

My problem is this: I created a catalog in MS Publisher 2013 for format A4 paper with 2 pages per document. I chose booklet side folding type and print double-sided.

MS Publisher prepared pages correctly. I even created versuions PDF of these pages. But every time when I print pages, the printer keeps make them smaller (I think that balance for letter size) despuite the fact that I changed in the printer preferences A4as default paper source, all the documents are in format A4 etc.

Accordingly, the printed pages are shifter in the Center on the left side page, which is OK for printing side but may not work for printing side doyuble that shift is in different directions for paper result.

In addition, I can just print more on DVD or CD surfaces as the driver does not support a feature of sauch.

Let me know how I can replace the native driver for Windows 10 with that for Windows 8.1? Or are there other solutions, except using another OS?

    THX, Vlad.

In fact, it is not metter. The real problem was in the printer drivers. For some reason, Windows 8 driver package failed was installed and it creates the problem.

I have installed HP SupportFramework and HP Support Assistant software. After the Support Assistant software downloaded a driver package, which is exactly what I used to use before so that the installation was successful.

    Now, everything works fine.

    Thank you for your support,

    Vlad.

  • LaserJet P1102w: Double-sided printing will not turn off

Even if double-sided printing is NOT selected in the printer properties, printing all ask for double-sided printing.  So if I go to print a single page printjob, the computer asks to have the blank page that was 'printed' just to get back in the tray.

How can I get this fixed?

    Hi @Skunkeeper,

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

I understand that you use a HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer with a Windows 10 computer and when you try to print a single page, the printer ejects a blank page and ten invites you to put in the tray, so the second side can be printed, even if double-sided printing is not selected. I would like to help with that.

This really looks like a software problem. I would like to start by running this HP print and Scan Doctor. It is a tool that allows you to diagnose and solve the problems of printing software and printer.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

In fact, if it helps you to find a solution, please click on the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

  • HP Desk Jet of ink advantage 4535: double-sided printing - how do I put power on and off

Printing, my printer started to print double-sided. I can't find a preference or an option for this. I tried to restore the default settings, but it is still two-sided printing.

I guess the print function is the same on Mac and PC?

    If so, this should help:

OPEN a document and select PRINT, then select PRINT ON BOTH SIDES appearance PREFERENCES. Use the drop-down list (the down arrow in the box that reads probably FLIP ON LONG EDGE etc.) and select NONE. Click OK.

In windows, you can also use the command Ctrl + Shift + P to access the print dialog box when the PRINT button does not offer the options above. Not sure what the command is with Mac.

    Hope this helps

  • HP Photosmart 5524 - double sided printing - back comes out backwards

I bought this printer last week and she chose specifically because it's "automatic double-sided printing. However, when it is set to print (flip on short edge) the back is reflected backwards.

Does anyone know how to get all pages of reading in the same way?

Two sided with the parameter ' Flip on short edge ' prints the pages in this way. When you bind the sheets of paper on the shorter side (top of page) the reverse page should be printed in reverse to ensure readability.

If you want both sides to be printed the same way, try the two sided with the option ' Flip on the side the longest. "
