Downgraded to Windows 7 WIndows 8 - USB drivers needed
I bought an a HP Pavilion g6 - 2288ca. Uninstalled Windows 8 and installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
My left USB ports do not work. I'm assuming USB3. They have an exclamation mark next to them in Device Manager. USB host controller
I read a lot of solutions, nothing has worked.
#1 check the HP drivers. They have NOTHING set USB for the g6 - 2288 thing or for Windows 7.
#2, I called HP, without help. They said to check with Microsoft (?)
#3 I did all the updates of Windows.
#4 I installed the AMD Catalyst driver and software.
#5 update of the Bios. (tried to see if I can disable USB3 in BIOS)... But he was not there.
My USB ports still do not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Once the business website returns to the top, download and install both of these drivers... The site was down some time ago.
You can then use the W7 x 64 drivers and software the g7z-2100 on your model.
DO NOT USE ANY BIOS OR THE FIRMWARE OF THIS MODEL FILES
Also see if it works for the smbus controller...
I have zipped and attached below in attachments, the raw smbus controller driver files to decompress and install manually.
Download and unzip the file.
Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus needing drivers. Click the driver tab. Click on set to update driver.
Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder that you unzipped.
Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install. Then restart.

As much as I know Windows XP 64-bit is not supported on Toshiba laptops. I've never seen these drivers for XP 64 bit was not as good because a lot of missing drivers. If Toshiba drivers are designed for XP 32 bit only, so I would choose this version if you really want Windows XP

First, install the amd chipset driver and restart. You want the 49.7 MB file listed.

Spectrum 13D-3000 Downgrade to Windows 7 - missing drivers
I shot my 13D-3000 Windows 8 for Windows 7 via an image to a bootable USB drive. However, when Windows 7 installed many drivers were not installed, including the NETWORK adapter and the USB drivers. Therefore, I can't access the internet or missing drivers via the USB port.

Hello! I have spent in my laptop for windows 7. I downloaded and installed all the drivers w7 since the support site. However, the icon of USB 3.0 in the Device Manager displays a yellow exclamation point. I tried to install the driver but it says that my system does not meet the requirements. XPS 8700 downgraded to Windows 7 - USB 3.0 Driver Install questions

I got some 8700 XPS machines to Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and everything works fine except that USB 3.0 drivers will not be installed.

However, when I try to install it, it gives me an error before it even loads:
"This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for the installation of this software."
I know for a fact that this computer is equipped with her because I was playing with him on Windows 8 before decommissioning. All ports are working very well, but they are not only recognized as 3.0. I even tried to do it by extracting the files manually and update (universal serial (USB) Bus controller) Device Manager but it tells me that it cannot find the driver for it.

Okay I found the reason why. Pilots who gave the site of dell has been for the family chipsets Intel® 7 series/C216. What I had was the 8 series.

XP Pro is able to identify the device connected (down for name and brand) but just then with the wizzard found new hardware and then fails to find the drivers for the device, regardless of the option that I chose to install it. I believe that this problem can be due to the upgrade of computers to sp3 (recent full reinstall). However, the computer had run sp3 before reinstalling and the devices wrked even well before, not even show the wizzard. All devices I've tried claim that their drivers are supplied with xp.
In Device Manager, the device appears under the other heading with the question mark - however it shows their exact model name and brand.
I'm at a total loss on this - andy help someone
(I really want to have to reinstall windows again)

I downgraded the Pavilion 20-b010 Windows 8 for Windows 7 64 bit pro and can not find the drivers for the USB 3.0 side ports. It seems that these only have drivers for Windows 8. HP Pavilion G6-2244NR network problems. Okay, so I have a G6-2244NR I had to downgrade to Windows 7 Pro 64 (SP1), due to software compatibility issues. Install was initially conducted on UEFI, GPT, wiped 8 and started from scratch with Legacy support MBR. Installation went perfectly well. However, I start in 7 and I get the network icon showing a red X. I then go into Manager and note that there is no network listed devices. Instead, I have 8 devices listed under "Other devices" with yellow exclamations by each of them. This includes the Bluetooth controller, the network, a PCI device controller, Ethernet controller, SM Bus controller, two USB controllers and an "unknown device". Bluetooth ID is ven_1814 & dev 3298, Ethernet ID PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 and so on. I downloaded the drivers on the wazoo. I think that I have updated the chipset but know not so straight updates chipset (catalyst 12.6). Still no luck. Whenever I have try and install what I think are good drivers I get the error "device works not ' on the LAN card. Can anyone help?
