How can I use my Microsoft Account and still access the network share?

Also, I have a laptop running Windows 8, connected to the same network that can access the share file very well. I already tried a "system refresh" and complete a reinstall.

  • Still can not update Windows 8.1 because I can't connect to my Microsoft account online.

OK, excuse me if I'm a little ROUGH, because there is a persistent problem since BEFORE the 8.1 update.

I can not connect to the Windows store at all.

Whenever I click on Store Windows, it says

"We could not connect to the Bank. This could have happened due to a server problem or network connection has expired. Please wait a few minutes and try again. »

No amount of clicking "don't retry" does nothing.

Associates, if I click on "connect to a Microsoft account" and click on "Switch to a Microsoft account" I enter my local password, enter my e-mail address, click on 'next', it goes to a screen that says "sorry, we could not connect to the Microsoft services right now. If the problem persists, look for 'referee '.

OK, so here's the deal.  I DON'T HAVE ANY F * CKING REFEREE.  I WENT TO EVERY F * CKING HELP PAGE FROM MICROSOFT TO FIX THIS PROBLEM WITHOUT SUCCESS. I TRIED ALL OF THE SUGGESTIONS I FOUND FROM 3RD PARTY SITES.

Also, I have a laptop that I use on the same home LAN that is not one of these problems and connects very well with the store and my Microsoft Account.

This problem is started, after a regular update Tuesday Microsoft got.  The only SOLUTION seems to be to refresh my OS, which will eliminate software installations that will take me several DAYS to re - install.

Note that, with the exception of problems with connection to the store and my Microsoft Account (and update to Windows 8.1) the computer works fine. So I really want to rub the complete set of software I installed in the area by a refresh.

As near as I can tell there is something very SIMPLE that I have F * CKED UP in the OS that prevents access to the store and my Microsoft Account.  There should be a SIMPLE FIX for THIS. But I have not yet found. I asked BEFORE on the community forums and got NO SATISFACTORY RESPONSE.

What you say Microsoft? Is your only solution destroy my existing work of the software game and spend several days recreate?

When I bought Windows 8, I downloaded an ISO. I think you can still get an ISO from Microsoft if you ask him nicely.

  • Help, please! Impossible to pass the local account on the Microsoft account.

I got a Samsung ATIV smart PC 500 t as a gift today and I'm going to be very difficult to implement. I tried on and off for about 14 hours now without success.  Here is what happened:

I've updated the PC software told me to. (there was a brochure stating that I needed to update before using my keyboard dock)

I put the PC by using a local account, because for some reason, he said it was impossible to add my Microsoft account I created today specifically for this PC.

I tried several times to switch to the Microsoft account and I get the error message

"We're sorry, but something went wrong. your account has not been changed to this account from Microsoft.

    "Code: 0x800b0101.

What does that mean? Why this is happening and what needs to be done to solve this problem?

I also tried using the tiles, hoping maybe going this route would allow me access to my Microsoft account so that I can at least use the apps and what not.  When you try to open the store, I have this message: 'we are could not connect to the Bank. This could have happened due to a server problem or network connection has expired. Please wait a few minutes and try again. "I also tried via the contacts, messages and weather applications. Whenever I get similar error messages.

Of course, I am not very computer savvy, my internet connection is working properly, I am able to access the various web pages (even if I get a warning message of security for each of them, which is very annoying).

Anyway, I can't understand this. Does anyone have a tip or useful information? Can I use my PC.

    Thank you!!

    Friends,

I had Windows 8.1 (which worked great for a long time) but for some reason, I had to format my drive C. I had to install my Windows 8 original on it. I created a local account first, but then as I tried to go to my Microsoft account, I get a message to the end - "sorry we can not connect to the Microsoft services at the moment. Are you able to login with the same account user browser? (e.g. Outlook.com)

Check your date and time system and make sure they are accurate.

  • I'm stuck on my laptop Windows 8 and cannot unlock my Microsoft account. How can I return to my laptop?

My mother had a new laptop from Windows 8 for Christmas. Woohoo! She already has a Windows Phone, so she has a Microsoft account.

When she first signed in her computer, she didn't use his account of Microsoft, so she used a different email address. We had him go back and link their account to a Microsoft Account, but she could not remember the password to MY (her phone does not require it to remember). So, while she has access to his account of MY through his phone (email, skydrive, Messenger, etc.), she can't connect to it via the web or their new computer. To further complicate the things, all this switching autour led to forget the password, she chose when she first signed in the (local account on the) laptop.

So, now it is totally locked out of his computer. We tried to reset her password to MY, but unfortunately the security only option we have is to send it to an e-mail address that is not fully illustrated and must be incorrect, because we never received the email to reset. Ugh.

Yes, Yes, we should have remembered the password. Yes, we should add more security options (such as the telephone number of its Windows Phone). This isn't the issue, the question is: how the hell we have access to his laptop again?

A question is: How do we get access to mastery again? We tried three or four times to give all the information they ask for (last addresses sent e-mail to the last e-mail subject lines, etc.) without success (despite the fact that it can send and receive emails from its Windows Phone). We do not have a credit card or other billing associated with his account information and it did not create folders to email him (and apparently, can't make his phone).

It gets really frustrating - there should be a way to talk to a human being or something that can reason better than Microsoft account unlocker automated tool.

    Last updated on 26/12/12:

It is interesting that my mother would have access to his account (e-mail, skydrive, e-mail) via his phone but, since she don't remember not his password to his laptop or the live.com site. It is also interesting that even if she has a phone that is obviously linked to his account, it cannot receive a text (or messenger note or same email) with a link to security number/password or password reset via his phone.

If anyone with the ability to listen, my mother could really use a link reset password secure e-mail to its live.com account, so that it can reset his password on his phone!

Otherwise, I think it's just going to return the laptop Windows 8. They do not have give it an OS reinstall the drive, which is the only other thing I can think to recover his system...

PS: It would also be nice if Microsoft would publish an email address on their account or email recovery page such that when the process fails, there is another available for persons other than simply to try new way (which is, as some claim, the definition of insanity).

    Thank you!

Thanks for any help you can provide.

  • Unable to swith to or create a Microsoft Account (0xd0000072)

    Hello

I tried to switch my account from Windows 8 to my Microsoft Account * address email is removed from the privacy *. Unfortunately, the last step of the wizard fails with the 0xd0000072 error code.

By reading the forums, I tried the suggestions described in http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-security/why-cant-i-use-my-microsoft-account-to-sign-in-to/aa9a8944-3ffd-4ab4-8c68-7bd6599e1ab1 and http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-security/cant-switch-local-account-to-microsoft-account/742e6d1d-28f3-4712-a9cb-05e815b0a7ca . Without any chance however.

In addition, create a new local account as a Microsoft Account fails with the message that the account could not be created and that I go to live.com/password/reset.

How can this problem be solved?

    Thanks in advance and greetings.

I have exactly the same problem.

I was able to connect on a computer laptop windows 8 before with this account, but since I was renaming the account that I had no chance.
I tried to delete the account completely (to eliminate the original PC files), add, removed trusted PC, reset the password and run the application of the resolution of the problems (not found error) with no luck.
I think it's something wrong on the part of Microsoft, I found many people with the same problem and nobody seems to have discovered a workaround solution.
Update * I could succeed in removing all traces of my previous Microsoft opening accounts to log on to the laptop of the old Identities registry cleaning (do a search for @hotmail.com or @outlook.com according to your address of course and remove all entries).
For people having problems on the new laptop, I would suggest remove account.live.com associated PCs.
