• CS6 using after 7 days trial CC - cannot use Acrobat

  I have a copy of the CS6. A friend sent me a document we worked together, but she had created in InDesign CC and not registered as compatible with earlier versions. She was absent, so that what felt like the easiest solution, I downloaded the free 7 day trial of CC.

  I can use most of my programs CS6 & could during the trial. Except Acrobat Pro X - I had to use my 7-day Acrobat DC. These 7 days are now expired and for the life of me, I can't convince Acrobat X Pro to rework - 10 Windows doesn't let me change the default program for files PDF. I can't open it list of apps, or a window of file directly in.

  Does anyone know how I can get it working again?

  You can not install Acrobat standard, Acrobat Pro on top. To install the purchased version, remove the Acrobat Pro of the macihne and then restart the installation.

• After 3 days on Adobe support my cloud application still will not work. Data error is install failed!

  I got creative cloud for more than a month now and have not been able to get the thing to work. I spent about 2 and a half days on technical support. I tried it on two different laptops the second that I have to replace my old as the first stopped working after the support has been playing with it. So I tried it on Windows 7 and now Windows 8.1.

  After that about 3 days on the stand that I now have copies of work in Photoshop and In Design. These were installed through workaround! I still can't use creative cloud.

  I tried to use laptops on two different networks my system at home and my University.

  I'm extremely frustrated by what I am a student and am paying a lot for something that just seems to be useless. I also had to borrow a friends computer to do my homework after spending 2 days wasted trying to get the thing working, so this is my study.

  Any body know how I can solve this problem because the technical support seem to be just things bodging and the system is next to useless?

  My Lap top is running Windows 8.1 64bits. There a lot of free space on the HARD disk and loads of RAM should so no problem there.

  Antivirus protection is Kapersky but have tried with this disabled and also tried with McAfee on laptop initially had this installed.

  Sarahb50875234 I'm sorry you are facing difficulties to use the creative Cloud Desktop application.  You get specific error messages? What kind of behavior do you?  You mentioned install it in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 it was on two separate computers or did you upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1?

  Finally, you said you spoke with a member of our support team.  You have a file number which I can refer?

  After 30 day trial of cloud successfully have downloaded creative I had to reset my computer to a date preceding the date of download. As a result, the creative programs cloud have been lost. I succumbed by downloading again. Please notify. Thank you.

  Thanks for getting back to me. I could reinstall creative cloud by following the instructions in the help panel. For some reason any the first time that I tried to reinstall, it did not work, but the second time was a success.  Thank you once again!

  I recently bought the 6 Lightroom $205 activation card. I went to the www.adobe.com/go/getserial and put the activation code in. Then he said (I don't have a serial number and the license would be activated once I registered"then downloaded and is in the 30 day trial and if I try to activate the license it requires a serial number!) Also, I don't have all my products registered under 'display '. I do not know how to activate it then, and I certainly don't want to pay $205 for a 30 day trial!

  Double-check that you have purchased.  It sounds like it could be a 1 year subscription that is not prudent to purchase (because you can get a 1 year subscription to adobe for lr and ps for $120 us.).

  The last PPC compatible version which run on your OS should be Acro 9, but v8 really works on 10.5.8 (still have it on my old MacBook in 2006 with the same OSX) and everything should also provide a PPC environment only.

  I believe you can reinstall right under the trial, use preferably the full path in three steps (the otherwise strange things may persist):

  (1) uninstall (check the box to delete the preferences),

  (2) run the cleanup tool, see the link below,

  (3) reinstall.

  If you already bought the plan, you should be able to activate the software within 24 hours after you charge through. If you have trouble activating after this period, you will need to talk to Adobe customer service.
