  Please use the following steps to reload your software:

  Download an application on your computer called BBSAK (BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife). You use it to wipe the operating system of your device. You can get it here: www.bbsak.org

  Download the latest OS for your device, you can get here. https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/entry.do?code=9461CCE28EBE3E76FB4B931C35A169B0

  Connect your device to your PC and start BBSAK. It will ask you a password. If you don't have a game for your device, simply click OK.

  Choose the option to wipe device. Once completed, you will be left with a blank screen and an app 507 error, which means that the wipe has been a success.

  Unplug your unit.

  On your PC, navigate to C:\Program Files\Common research in Motion\AppLoader. Delete the file in the lower part called vendor.xml.

  Connect your device.

  In this same folder as shown above, there is an executable file called Loader (has a small telephone next to him). Double click on that and it will start loading your OS.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Got App error on my BB Bold yesterday - 603 reinstalled the software, but now Word to Go, sheet to go, Slide to Go all erased

  I had a 2nd "App Error 603" on my BB Bold 9780 yesterday in 4 months.

  I have connected my phone to my laptop computer and re-installed the operation of the platform again on the phone.

  I had a lot of trouble getting the device software to recognize the handset, but looking at the forums, the advice was to remove the battery and re - connect the phone to the PC and try again by clicking on update.

  I did, but partly through the re-installation, I re inserted the battery in my phone.

  I began to get a pop-up box several times during the installation process saying that the software cannot be installed with an option to try again.

  I clicked retry each time and eventually completed the installation.

  I then restored the phone to a back-up I did 6 September since erased all re-setup.

  However, today, I see that all the games provided originally with the phone and applications Word to Go, sheet to go drag to Go have all disappeared.

  Now, when I want to view the file that I have previously saved on the media card, I get a message, the file cannot be opened.

  Should I re-install the OS again?

  Anna, Yes, I would say that you back up your device with the BlackBerry Desktop Software and then wipe on it security (Options > Security > wipe Handheld).

  Then, install the latest operating system for this device.

  I thought about it.  I had already started a download of this soft and somehow pause the download (I think he has hung up).  He was sitting in the section My World of App World.  Apparently, once a download has been started, the App World removes the download button.

  The JVM error indicates there is an incompatibility of binary java (if remember correctly), but the problem is easily solved in Os reload.

  But try first start secure by removing battery and press and hold the "back" button and reinsert the battery while the key is pressed, when the bar reached release quarter way loading the previous key.

  If it boots successfully remove the 3rd party app and restart normally.

  If it does not reload the Os.

  1. open the bb desktop software

  2 remove the battery from your bb phone 3. connect the phone BB to the computer without the battery

  4. the bb desktop software will give you the error msg bb software cannot communicate with the device

  5. click on update. the bb desktop software will check for device software available bb. Note: If the bb phone has a password a prompt to enter at this stage.

  6. Enter an email address or uncheck the option for e-mail when new versions are available.

  7. click on install update

  8. a pop-up window will be displayed indicating when you have finished the unit must be activated with the wireless network. without disconnecting the device from the computer, put the battery back in the device, and then click ok. Note: If you miss the opportunity to put the battery in the phone bb at the appropriate stage, and the upgrade fails, click on 'Retry '. If it continues to fail, please repeat the process.   Can you try to open Desktop Manager on your PC, by connecting the BB via USB, then by restarting the BB when it is connected?

  Desktop Manager must intercept the boot process and ask you an update that can be applied (if it has not yet been applied).

  If you have a hardware problem, then nothing what to do with the software or operating system will not help. But, at a distance of the internet, there is no way to really diagnose a hardware problem... rather, only to guide you to things to try which will govern the other causes, leaving only hardware like your the most likely cause. See how news of the device is for you, you can not cope and return instead of your place of purchase for formal support and (hopefully) replacement.

  But, if you want to try, then I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

  If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '.   2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

  (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

  • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

  5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

  • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

  6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

  6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

  • Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC.

  I have a very old BlackBerry App World build my torch.  While I wait for a Z10/Q10, I try to update.  For some reason when I update to 2.1.1.2 to 4.3.0.26 I get a Setup error.  Any suggestions on how to do it?  I don't see a way to remove the BlackBerry App World and reinstall.  Thank you.
