Download the odd picture and adjustment.

Hello Board,

I downloaded an image of iStock who was announced as 6.2 "x 8.8" photo at 300 dpi.  When I open it in PS3 the

the size of the image shows that 62402,539 "and 87536,895" with a resolution of 1 pix/inch (1872 x 2626 pixel dimensions).

Modern.

I pasted the image in my InDesign file and it was average, much, too much to work with.  Then, I reduced the size of PS3

but he lost on the resolution time.  My question: has the photographer messed up on the file, it gave to iStock or is

It is something fancy I don't know about such an image, and how to use it correctly?  I need to get it down to one

magazine-printing image quality of 300 DPI to bracts about five inches wide or more.

Any advice is welcome!

Don't worry at this point, there is nothing wrong with the image. Go to Image-> Image size, make sure that resampling is deselected, and then select a resolution of 300ppi
