Download videos on my rocket?

I recently bought a sansa fuze. I tried to download a WMV file to it with the Sansa Media Converter. He is always stuck at 49%. I did some research and discovered that you need to download Quicktime, the k - lite codec pack and directx (don't know what it was called, but positive I downloaded it). Someone has even provided links to downloads and said they succeeded. However, it would still have the same problems. Today, a day later, I tried to re-download the video with the Media Converter. A message appears about ffdshow. No matter what option I choose, the video will still download in the converter. I've updated the firmware today. How to download my video successfully? Help, please!

I've been in the situation that the MSC is stuck to the two or three times through intermediaries. I have figured out that SMC needs a lot of computer resources. So, whenever I can't make the conversion, I restart my machine and do the conversion again, no problem. Please do not use your computer to do other things when you perform the conversion.

  • Put videos on my rocket

Hello... I have problems with regular video Windows Media Player on my sansa fuze. I was wondering why it does this. I simply drag a video in my video file, but it never happens in my mp3 player... anyone know what format videos are on a sansa fuze?

    -Thank you

I just added a review of the "rocket" on Amazon, which included information about the transfer of videos.  So I'll just copy and paste what I wrote from there to here.

First of all videos must be in mp4 format so that the "rocket" be able to recognize them. In addition, you need to use the Sansa Media Converter (what IDE, you need to download) to transfer these files to the "rocket" before they will work. It's because the converter creates a metadata file, called file thm that gives further information of rocket that educated read on your rocket. So, you have in fact two files added to your rocket then adding videos, the video file (mp4) and the thm file. Your rocket must be plugged into your computer so that the Sansa Media Converter work. In addition, in order to add the mp4 videos in the converter, you must close any additional video playing software. In particular, I found that having BSplayer open all trying to add causes problems for the converter. So close all media players. Another note on the videos, there is third party software that allows you to convert various media formats to mp4 format. DVDVideoSoft Free Studio is such a free utility. You simply add you avi or wmv file (or other) in the utility by using the video iPod Converter function. Who will convert your video to mp4 format. From there the Sansa converter allows you to transfer the new mp4 for your rocket. If you have a fussy mp4 file which don't transfer to your rocket for a reason, just run it through the video to iPod Converter and use this new file mp4 for the transfer of your rocket. I've had it happen a few times, but it works. When the native memory on your rocket is full, you can always upload videos to your rocket through your memory card. No problem. Just use the Sansa converter as before. What will happen, is that since your native memory is full the converter will tell you that the process has failed. This is not quite true. He did not write the video on the native memory, but it has always generated the video file and thm. The thm file, if you had even a little space left in the native memory, is probably in the video folder of your native memory of rocket. Just go to this folder and do a cut and paste of thm native memory file to a folder on your memory card. The video is still on the hard drive of your computer. Go to users / [your user folder] /Documents/ Sansa Media Converter. Your video is located in the folder of the Sansa. Simply cut and paste this folder into the folder on your memory card where you put the thm file. Here, your video is now on your memory card, and your rocket he sees just as if it was on native memory. You can also cut and paste videos, music, etc. of native memory and put it on your memory card, if you want to make more room on the native memory.

With regard to freezing videos, IIRC it may have been a problem from the beginning when I was trying to have the converter to go directly from avi transfer the "rocket". I think it has to do with the converter tries to do two things instead of one. When you try to get both convert to mp4 and transfer during the "rocket", you end up with multiple problems. The converter software is really preferable to be used only as a means to transfer already converted files mp4 on the "rocket". Once I started using the process I have described above, the gel has completely disappeared. I got my rocket for months since the beginning of this year, and I did have a problem of freezing because I started to follow the process described above. Using this method also, transfer videos much faster when I tried to convert and transfer at the same time. I have not had a problem converting any video file whatever the size, resolution or frame rate since I use the process described above.

  • How to download video to Sansa Fuze?

I'm in love with my 4 GB for a month Sansa Fuze.  I have no problem at all downloading music to the device (I call it the 'model-safe MP3'), but I'm a total newbie when it comes to video download.  Is it possible to download video from a TV or Youtube network website?  If so, can someone break it down for me very, very simply?

It is quite some references on how to do it, but in a nutshell, you need to use the Sansa Media Converter program available for download here. With your rocket connected (this is important, it should be connected during the conversion) raise you the program and drag & drop files and click on convert. Conversion converts the files and place them on the "rocket". Any file as SMC (S Media Converter ansa) cannot recognize it will tell you talk and those who will be executed by another program to convert them to a format THAT SMC likes it. • How to download video from internet for iMac

I am trying to download a video file of a local community TV show with band access of my grandchlidrens to I can post it on their site. I have done in the past with youtube and vimeo videos but won't have a chance with that.

Basically, I need to download the video file to my iMac, so I can upload it to YouTube the children channel.

Here is the link to the show:

    http://VP.telvue.com/preview?ID=T05199 & Video = 284822

Can someone help me? Or is it simply not feasible?

My iMac is a 2011.5 and I always use the Mountain Lion.

    Thank you

    David

It seems not feasible. I have several tools for downloading videos, but they do not work on the page. In addition, the video does not seem to be cached to recover in this way.

I guess you could communicate with the station and see if they would make you a copy.

    Cute children btw.

  • When I click on "download video" on a TED talk, the video plays right outside, but I would like to download the video to play offline how can I do this?

If I try 'right click' (i.e. holding the button for a few seconds) the button 'Download video', the only result is that the text of the button is selected. So, I don't know how to download the video for offline reading in my Android phone 4.2.2.

"right click" (that is, for a long time by tapping the button) 'Download video' has not helped, but I have now managed to download the video just by 'clicking' (that is, threads) this button. I think that it is perhaps due to a recent update of Firefox for Android. Thank you for your time!

  • Download video real player does not work in firefox v29.0.1 what should I do?

I have firefox v29 and download real player does not work. What I would do. This option is enabled and the realplayer options are correctly set

Most of the time after the release of a new version of Firefox, the modules can become inconsistent. It's the developer to solve these problems and update accordingly. You can contact the developer of their modules page.

You can try to contact the RealPlayer support to see if they have any patches

You can also use an alternative to RealPlayer (if you use it to download videos). These are based on the web and I'll give a few extensions so

I use it every day and they work great.

My Fire Fox download video in support not detected on you tube. It is always shows only the first video that i was downloaded.pls help

I don't think there is much you can do about it outside the use of workaround to reload the page until this problem is corrected.

There is this bug on this problem:

I don't know if other extensions download suffer from this issue, as well, so you can try a little more try the website of the add-on and if possible use a different format like WebM, if they are available.

Also note that not all videos are downloaded and registered correctly. Some may have a size of 0 bytes and fail to download, so, best is to check in downloads of the toolbar Manager in the drop-down list to make sure that the file size is correct (i.e. neither 0 bytes, but a more likely size).

YouTube streaming makes changes to the code and the way its web pages work, so extensions can fail at any time.

My mobile android version is 4.1.2. At the present time, I can't watch and download videos from youtube. If flash player does not support any mobile by using the version of android more 4.0, how can I watch and download these flash videos?

You can always download and install Flash for Android 4.0 which still works on android versions greater than 4.0, which is located on this site (http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html), which is the own adobe site. Look for the Flash for Android 4.0 and the latest version. Although it is not advisable to use an outdated version of flash as it is not secure.

  • How can I download videos with RealPlayer?

When I've upgraded to FireFox 13 my Plugin RealPlayer browser Record has been disabled as dangerous and unstable. Now I can't download videos that I watch with RealPlayer. When I activate the Plugin, I can't watch the video (I get a blank video screen). So, how can I download and save videos I want like those on the pulse of the planet by Rick Levine or other sites with recordable video? I downloaded and installed the latest version of RealPlayer and they say that I will be able to download videos but I can't. This problem is also related to this Plugin disabled?

Hi all Freaked Out Firefox and RealPlayer users,

This is the proper workaround for the problem of not being able to see videos after the Adobe defective 11.3 update (either the 11.3.300.257 or the latest 11.3.300.262) and not being able to download them with the RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension because Firefox disabled it.You can enable it but you won't be able to see videos unless you roll back the defective update and disabling the extension doesn't even work for some users to even let you see videos, much less download them. I successfully tested uninstalling adobe's update 11.3 and reinstalling with two different versions - 10.3 and 11.2 and posted this on other threads beginning 6/11. People who have tried it have been very grateful once they stopped listening to all the confusing and misleading recommendations by Firefox and Adobe. It's the ONLY one that gives full use of RealPlayer as well as updated security on the Flash Player and I've provided the most direct link to that version without having to download a cumbersome .zip file. It's a link to the 10.3 version. You will see other references to the 11.2 version on this thread. Although I tested that first and it works equally well, there are known critical vulnerabilities as reported by Secunia and Adobe,so I don't recommend it unless you have top security software. I do, and had no trouble with it. The 10.3, however, is up to date on security and works equally well -I've tested both. Just remember to enable the RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension after you roll back the update.

Alternatively, if you want, you can simply switch browsers 'till this is fixed. And for many of you for whom FF disabling the RealPlayer extension does not even work to allow you to see videos - it didn't for me, and a Level Three Case Manager I know at RealPlayer said the same thing- obviously it's not the best solution and even if it allows you to see videos, these geniuses at Firefox have not been even telling you how to then download videos with RealPlayer - they've been too busy following Adobe's "pass the buck and blame RealPlayer so just disable it" nonsense without telling what to do next, or that there are other much better choices. RealPlayer is likely not the cause (although there is a conflict in the interaction with the Adobe update.

                The Best Choices are:
     First Choice:

Roll Back the Update to the 10.3 version -

See links below for both Adobe's uninstaller - to first uninstall the 11.3- and for the 10.3 version. Choose the 10.3 that says "for other browsers"- this is for Firefox. The other one is for IE Active X. IE and has to be reinstalled also because the uninstaller removes both version.

Adobe clean uninstall instructions, step 4, which says to remove the additional files and folders is not usually necessary and you can be denied access to delete all files. RealPlayer also said it is not necessary. I know how to create special permissions but don't mind not because most of the users don't know how to do this - I didn't, even though I am almost certain that one of these Firefox gurus will tell you that I'm wrong. It's good to make the move, only, it can be difficult for many and it does not seem necessary for me or someone else, from what I've heard.

Note: When you reinstall the 10.3 change the update setting from automatic to "Never check for updates" to avoid any more problems until this is finally fixed. Adobe already updated to the 11.3.300.262 for Firefox (which was designed to ONLY fix the crash problems and not the video viewing problems) and didn't even fix that -I don't trust anything Adobe says right now until this is permanently fixed. And in the future I strongly urge you to do the same, keeping it on "Notify me if there are updates" in a future version where that choice is available. If you forget, you can change the setting from the control panel. Click on Large Icons, then Flash Player and on then the Advanced tab and dot the lower radio button for "Never check....." in the 10.3 If you don't get notified of a new version you can always check this forum which you need to do anyway because any new version at this point is going to be a beta version fix until we test it thoroughly and I don't care who disagrees with me on that, or what Firefox says either.

    Second choice:

        Change Browsers -

The Adobe problem involves only Firefox. You can watch videos and download them with the RealPlayer download button if you don't want to do the restore. You can even leave the extension off RealPlayer (if that allows to see the videos) and use another browser to download (just copy and paste the URL of the video on the address bar) and the RealPlayer download button will work.

    To uninstall 11.3

       http://forums.adobe.com/message/4041846#4041846

    To install 10.3

       http://forums.adobe.com/thread/889580

Important Note: Remember, you have to reinstall both versions, the one for Firefox and for Internet Explorer because the uninstaller removes both.

This has worked perfectly for many others I've heard back from - hope it works for you.

  • RealPlayer download videos after that I upgraded to Firefox 12

After that I've upgraded to Firefox 12.0, arrested RealPlayer video download. Firefox is not yet in the RealPlayer preferences box. I prefer Firefox, but do not know what to do.

    Hi texasbill,

You should take a look at this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/707460

It seems that the problem might be related to the update of Adobe.

This message should help you get back operational:

«I did the following: open Realplayer, press menu drop-down and select 'Préférences' select "Download and save", and then uncheck the box and again check the option 'Activate the record button' and then 'OK' to exit the "Preference".» After restarting the browser, the download video button will go out again. Need to update Adobe Flash changed some configurations in the browser and the Realplayer need to re - configure again. I use version of the Realplayer Taiwan, therefore element names are translated into English, may be slightly different with what you see. "
