  I have a key to legitimate series for Creative Suite CS5. Because once I've lost my CD Adobe sent me a download link to download the suite which worked then, but now I have a new laptop that does not have a CD-rom drive, so I tried to re-download these links. Now, I get the message that my serial key is not valid. I've been in contact with the customer and they checked my serial key is valid, and then I was sent to the forum to ask how to continue.

  My confidence in the forums is now gone. Due to lack of responses on my thread, I went to a lot of trouble to finally make it work in the end.

• Creative Suite CS5.5, not recognizing my serial number

  I have Creative Suite Design Standard CS5.5 and my Illustrator and InDesign crash on openness (error - 108). I uninstalled both programs. I did the following:

  • Installed new Creative Suite Design Standard from this link: Download CS5.5 products
    • Computer does not recognize the .dmg file (says it does not recognize disk image)
  • Installed Illustrator separately and does not recognize my serial number

  I suppose that my serial number is only for the Creative Suite Design Standard and I can't use it on individual programs, but why my computer is not recognizing the disk file? I have enough storage on my computer for it. What should I do?

  I even tried to download a trial version of Illustrator CS6 because I have a project due and which hangs before opening. There must be a way to get my dos programs, especially since I paid for them in the first place.

  I got a license for creative suite cs5, just bought a mac os x 10.11 book 'el capitan', downloaded more on adobe.com and when I try to open the installation program can't open it and it gives the following message "'Install' is damaged and you must move it to the trash.

  This error message is a bit misleading. What happened is that CS5 that was issued before the "custodian" is not "signed" and installation is blocked because it is considered to be "unreliable".

  Solution: Temporarily set to "Everywhere" and then open the dmg file.

  CS5.5 does not require a login, so there must be something else requiring that you.  Maybe it's the security of your system requires you to login to allow installation.

  The answer depends on which version of the Creative Suite.

  Or the other

  MoeGhazal I have reviewed your account and it seems that you have upgraded to a volume license CS4 Design Premium for an upgrade of retail Design Premium 5.5.

  I also shows that you have made two purchases of CS5.5 Design Premium, but the second purchase was cancelled.  Make sure that you use the serial number that ends in 7886.

  If you are using the correct serial number, then it is likely, that the installer won't recognize your serial number of volume license CS4 as being valid for upgrade.  If you can contact our support team you can be traversed through an unlocking procedure to allow you to proceed with the installation.  You can contact our team of support directly in Contact with the customer.  You can try to install a web browser, you have not previously used.  It of probably a toolbar or other software applications affect your ability to access the media cat successfully.
