Download Windows XP for free if I can do a 'Clean Install' of the system?

"flatten and rebuild" process for Windows XP?

How can I go about the process of 'flatten and rebuild' for Windows XP?  Download Windows XP for free if I can do a 'Clean Install' of this system?

If you have a computer from a "direct OEMS" (e.g., Dell, HP, etc.), it is without doubt a restore hidden on the hard disk partition.  How access and use this feature differs between manufacturers, so again you must call the computer manufacturer or visit its web site.

    Original title: windows XP

Now where I know. The only chance of getting XP would be to call the manufacturer of your PC support (if your PC originally came with XP) and request a recovery media. If your PC came with XP originally, the "recovery" partition can always also be the function that allows you to restore XP on your PC.

You are unable to download any version of Windows.  You must contact the computer manufacturer that built your computer and install Windows 2000 on it to see if you can get a copy of their share.  I highly doubt you will be able to because Windows 2000 is entirely not taken in charge since 2005.

  • Windows Vista 64-bit version purchased, can 32 bits be installed with the same key?

Configure a computer for a friend using the version 64-bit of Windows Vista, not knowing its processor's crashing issues with 64 bit... would it not possible to rebuild and get a copy of 32-bit by using the same key via download or something? (I'll killdisk his computer so I'm sure it will not be saved, but I'm not sure.)

    Thanks for the replies!

    * original title - 64-bit version of Windows Vista purchased, has not work.__Can I install 32 bit with the same key? (Another was deleted, so it's is more approved I think). *

    Hello

    1. you have a 64-bit processor on your computer?
2 have you installed the correct drivers 64 bit?

When you bought Windows Vista, if it came with two versions of the operating system, a 32-bit installation DVD and an installation DVD 64 bits, then you would be able to use the
same product key. Even if the 32-bit version should work with a 64-bit version of Windows, chances are the 64-bit version will perform better, because it was designed for a
    64-bit version of Windows.

original title: anti-spyware in Microsoft windows xp

My computer has been infected with a virus by asking me to download windows xp for $59 virus software. Whenever I tried to load the antivirus software, or similar, I saw in the 'my windows task manager process windows' image or start whd.exe process name my software would be closed and a screen could come that had microsoft images etc on this subject. He asked me to sign up or enter my code', that I could download for $59. I managed to fix it myself, but before I did I sent an email to their 'support center' telling them that I was going to find and to make their visit for wasting my time! I put a contactable email address down and got one got a naughty response. Hello sorry, but there is no payments with your email. Please send me your e-mail to registration or transaction ID thank you and have a great day! email address * address email is removed from the privacy * who can I send this on, it was a scam and for someone who has no idea about computers, they would have to pay somethig to someone to fix it. enough of these people, they need to be stopped.

    Hello
a startup code? What type of boot disk that you use? Sounds like something from another program.
Now don't get me wrong, I did not install Win 95 in about ten to twelve years, but I do not remember a start-up code!

  • Questions about upgrading Vista to Windows 7 for free as it was offered once?

Several years ago I got when I was with Windows XP I spoke to Microsoft and said I could use the 64-bit and 32-bit disk on different computers, by using the same product key, but there are certain requirements.  I think the 2 computers were to be in the same place and I was the owner.  I'm a little hazy on the rules, but I know that I learned that I could use both versions 32 and 64 different bits with the same key.  I have a desktop running 64-bit Windows 7 Professional and a laptop running Vista.  Both are registered for me, but the laptop was a gift from our son for the wife who is disabled and never leaves the House except for visits to the doctor.  It comes preinstalled with Vista, but there were so many problems with Vista, Microsoft offers an automatic upgrade to Windows 7 at the time.  I never took advantage of this because Best Buy, where the laptop was purchased, wanted to get paid to do the upgrade.  My wife is now having a lot of trouble with various programs with Vista, I have two disc of Windows 7 Professional, I received directly from Microsoft, a 32-bit and 64-bit.  There is only 1 button, but I learned the upgrade to Windows 7 was supposed to be free.  I have much more knowledge now and can install the update myself, but can I use the 32 bit disc and the very key to do.  Otherwise, I would use the 32-bit disk and get a new key?  Where can I get a new key for the Vista upgrade to Windows 7 for free as it was offered once?

This is incorrect information, product key for 1 license 1, 1 computer.

Yes, and you can use it to activate on the same computer architecture.

Sorry, but this offer no longer exist.

The Windows 7 Upgrade Option program debuted on June 26, 2009 , it provides that anyone who buys a PC to a participant OEM or retailer with Windows Vista Home Premium, Business or Ultimate to receive an upgrade to the corresponding version of Windows 7 at a cost little or not. The Option Windows 7 upgrade program will be available until January 31, 2010 and is global.

You will need to purchase an additional license.

  • (64-bit capable) 32 bit Vista Home Premium... I can do a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit professional?

(64-bit capable) 32 bit Vista Home Premium... I can do a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit professional?... from a flash drive?... to change the boot order?... or at all?

    Hello

That's right; with Vista Home Premiun upgrade paths are for Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate.

It is one of the reasons why you should do a clean install.

The other reason is that you can NOT put 32-bit to 64-bit.

You need a clean install to do.

Follow these steps before you install or buy Windows 7:

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.
