  Your original installation of CS2 activation to run, but the server so that the activation has been disabled (sorry), so that you can install is no longer the old.

  If you have a problem dl'g, you don't follow all 7 steps.  the most common mistake is not meticulously follow the steps 1, 2, and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system, allowing you to download the correct version of the adobe.com site).

  The best way to approach it is to disable the software (open any program in the suite and choose Help-> Deactivate) so that when your new system is installed you can reinstall if you wish, without tying up activation (you have two available at any time except when they are in use).  If you do not have to reinstall so you can just reactivate.

• InDesign CS2 refusing valid serial number

  Last week a user came to me to have problems with its InDesign. It had crashed, and when it restarted, it he gave the "customization" screen, asking the user name, company and serial number. • InDesign CS2 not recognizing serial number

  On-site InDesign CS2 a dialogue box came to ask my serial number (I had CS2 for four years or so now and have never had to enter he set out for the first round). However, by entering the serial number, he said: "the serial number you provided is not valid.» Please check your serial number and enter it again ' leaving me unable to open InDesign and access my files. Also Illustrator CS2 on opening now just shows the splash screen and goes no more (giving me the rotation beach ball). However, Photoshop and Bridge the two open very well. I've deleted preferences without result. I even reinstalled InDesign and Illustrator of my original CD of CS2 (who has accepted my serial number) but I have the same trying to open programs. The only thing I can think of who has bad shot is that Adobe installed an update yesterday (I think Version Cue) and everything worked well until I closed and did a restart this morning. -What anyone has experienced the same - I'm really drunk until I can sort this out and display on Support Adobe said that will come back in 3 days!
