• How to restore the ability to download files and documents?

  End of last week I noticed that I had accumulated a large number of cookies. I decided to clear the cookies and history by selecting «Clear history of Firefox closing» I deleted cookies and closed Firefox. Firefox has started closing but stop responding before the end of the fence. I forced Firefox to close (Mac OS X 10.6.8) then restarted Firefox which has always failed. I unchecked 'Clear history of Firefox closing' and Firefox resumed normal operation except that I am now unable to download files and documents from any web site. I tried another browser (Safari 5.1.5) and downloads are normal.

  Any help much appreciated.

  The problem I had was with a plug-in, I received in the most recent update of Adobe Reader I installed at the same time, my problem started. Thought you might like to know.

• Unlock the file and folder attribute does not work in LV 2012

  I use unlock attribute to unlock a file (defined in the specification to build installer-> settings of the Source file-> file and folder attributes). This Setup program installs the application in Program Files (Win7 x 64) and when the application is started it creates a file in the folder "unlocked". I've used it several times with LV 2011, but it does not work with LV 2012 (the folder is not unlocked)? An example for LV 2012 (without installation) is fixed, the same example works if I build with LV 2011.

  I received an email from support TODAY:

  The error could be reproduced. It was also successfully detected and documented.
  The development team is working on this and the next update may have already solved this problem. »

  AFAIK there is no newspaper.  Do you need to recover deleted?

  If so, try a third party called Recuva application.

  If the hard disk is damaged, you may not be able to copy all your data.

  It seems that you copied everything you can.

  I suggest you contact experts in data recovery to recover the rest of it.

  But they are very expensive.

  This situation indicates that your system is reading the index hard disk that points to a location where the file no longer exists.

  I suggest that you run a chkdsk c: /r to solve this problem.  If it is a huge drive, this process will take some time.

  (b) have you been able to open this type of file before? You get a specific error message?

  (c) does it happen with every file download or it?

  Please provide the information above to understand the question better; the following steps are worth a try:

  Downloaded file is possibly corrupted. In this case, you will not be able to open it. Download the file again. That might solve the problem.

  Security software may be blocking or impeding the file to open, first of all, let us disable the security software and test

  Step 1: Disable security software, follow the steps mentioned below

  Important: Activate security software once everything is done.

  Step 2: Download the file to a different location (on the desktop) and test

• Finder - how to display all THE files and folder without exception names in searches?

  I like Mac OS.  I can't WAIT finder.  I just want that he show me everything that matches my search string - files, folders, images, etc.  Each of them, everywhere on my machine.  I just want it to be simple.  Or point me to a good replacement for Finder program.  I waste so much time trying to find things that should take a simple search...  I looked at all the stupid shortcuts like Shift + Cmd + G, which can't find folders in the directory you are in (why would it be separated anyway?).

  CMD-SHIFT-g is quite a search function. It allows you to enter the path of the folder you want to open. What you think "seeks" the current folder is really thin path. If you enter no previous path information, it looks in the current working directory to the folder name you typed in the dialog box.

  You can set the default search starting location in Finder preferences. I have mine for current folder. Looks like you might prefer "search this Mac".

  

  Typing in the search field in the Finder will search the contents and filename. It will offer to search for chips to match types he concludes.

  If you just want to search for files and folders, but no content file, then use cmd-ctrl-shift-f to search by name (you can adjust this shortcut to the system preferences keyboard).

  If you don't get the results of your research, then perhaps your Spotlight index is corrupt.

When you open the drive in my computer, you can see reviews of files to be written on a cd, select files and choose the cd option writing.

  EDIT: I just restarted my VM and host and then grew up the virtual machine.  He continued to wear the same name of file (.vmem).  It will continue to be this way?

  One option is to add the following parameter to the file vmx of your comments (with comments turned off and closed player).

  mainMem.useNamedFile = "false".

  This will change the behavior to NOT use the named file for the permutation of VRAM.

  If this does not change the behavior, you may need to change the host config.ini file and add the line there instead.

  Personally, for any AV I always exclude my file to the root of the VMS under analysis, given that the files are constantly changing and open, and the files themselves do not contain viruses. This is NOT to say that the customers themselves can not GET a virus inside their own operating system... but the files to your host will not some virus shipped including your AV needs to scan contain.

  There is no problem to use the dash or underscore. I have never tried creating a file name with a period in it (except for the file extension), so I don't know.

  Yet once again, this is controlled by your operating system. What is legal in your operating system should work.

  Which brings a question side... most people don't much worry about the details of the file and the file naming... There are ways to organize, using keywords and other metadata in Lightroom, where these questions about the file and the file naming disappear... Add as many keywords as you had huge and similar legends long with all kinds of special characters, this isn't a problem. Using the folder and file names as organization tool has some limitations.

  Result method is recorded and it is treat all my data server. But this method is not invoked when I file upload, clues why? After downloading files, I need to communicate the contents of the downloaded file in turn, and I just wanted to put this in the response from the server. Just for the record, next to this file upload works fine.

  I think I found the solution of optmial for me. In my case, I didn't have to double the number of communicates, so here it is, all download event data and a code for this example:

  dispatcher.addEventListener (DataEvent.UPLOAD_COMPLETE_DATA, uploadCompleteDataHandler);

  private void uploadCompleteDataHandler(event:DataEvent): void {}

  var result: XML = new XML (event.data);
  dataString = result.data.@text;

  }

  Event.Data contains 'raw server rΘponse' so that you can retrieve your data from there.
