  Well I finally decided to move to Windows 8 (starting from Windows 7 x 64), but I'm stuck in a weird situation here...  I image .iso Windows 8 with me but I will not be burn on a DVD, the only option would be either use a USB key or an external HARD disk... Unfortunately my 16 GB USB DRIVE no longer works (and the .iso image file does not in my other USB drives I had remaining)... So I decided to use my drive external HARD on the contrary - but there's another problem... about 750 GB on my HARD drive is full (there are all my files, movies, music, games, etc) and the rest is 'empty '...

  So, how can I install Windows 8 of this external HARD drive without formatting? Since I don't have any other "spare" hard drives or USB keys with a lot more storage capacity...  And I can't keep them in my laptop because it has only 500 GB...

  Can I partition my external HARD drive and secure all my files in one partition, and format the other partition to use it to install Windows 8 on my laptop somehow...?

  You can create a partition on your HARD drive and install Windows inside with Universal USB Installer
  Here's how you create a new Partition

  • Open disk management
  • Right click on the partition that you want to split > Shrink > select size > Ok
  • Unallocated space will appear
  • Right-click on > Format give a letter

  OR you can install windows on a different partition from your internal HARD drive

  You can create a partition in the internal drive and extract files inside Windows and make it bootable with EasyBCD (3rd party free program to change startup options and other things)
  • Create a new partition using disk management
  • Extract the files to install Windows inside
  • Open EasyBCD > add new item > WinPE > search for X:\Sources\boot.wim > add
  • Reboot and choose the new element added to the startup in

  I used this method once and it worked

  My thoughts were to convert only local drives (jump the LUNS as they are already on the SAN). Then have the path of the SAN people (let me see) to my ESX servers. BIG draw back is that when I first plug a logic unit number, he wants to format. How can I connect to it and knew him ESX as store data without formatting?   When you get the new iPod, you can use iTunes on your computer to select and synchronize the music you want on it, in the same way that you synchronize your current iPod - your iTunes will recognize them as different devices and will remember your choice of synchronization for each, it will not (unless, for example, you restore the backup of your current on her iPod) put the same content on both.

  To remove all music from your iPhone, go to: settings > general > storage & use iCloud > in the storage section, tap on manage storage > music > Edit (top right corner) > delete all the songs.

  The supplied restore CD does not contain the repair console because it s not an original Windows CD. The restore CD contains only an image of the files. Don't mix it with the CD of Microsoft!

  To get into the repair console, you will need the original CD of Microsoft Windows.
  I also read on the Microsoft site that it of possible to download the repair on 6 discs FDD console. Then you could boot from this drive FDD and you might be able to get into the repair console. But I have never tested this procedure.
