DPS (PDF) on Content Viewer V24 for iPad

Hi all

I created DPS Magazine December issue (1024 x 768: Image = PDF).

and checked (fouad will not be published) on the v24 (2.9.0.0.63929) for iPad content viewer.

I put the Folio version: v22 menu released Folio Builder, because of my Viewer application is v22.

The iPad1, pinch-zoom works well, but text rendering does not work.

On iPad 2, iPad news, pinch zoom and text rendering work well.

My DPS Magazine Novermber, text rendering problem also does not work on iPad1 v24.

It worked fine on iPad1 v23.

Is it a problem just v24 (2.9.0.0.63929) Content viewer for iPad?

I was able to reproduce the problem and reported it as a bug. I will update directly when this is resolved.

  • Content Viewer app for iPad not connected?

I checked all the boxes in this diagnosis, they do not apply. Connect first via the site Web, check, iPad, Safari, and Chrome Windows always get error authentication failed with information of the same logon from the content viewer application.

Online help chat could only suggest that an Adobe server has problems. The DPS Portal is currently no problem with the web Content Viewer, not sure it's the same thing as the iPad app. Maybe that DPS people don't know about it yet, and they have left the building for a week on vacation.

Here, anyone have any ideas? I'm not a Subscriber DPS, and the app does not seem to require that only an Adobe ID, that I created years ago and who still works through the web. I need content for iPad Viewer to examine the work of those who is subscribed to DPS.

Thanks for any help or the point of view that you can provide.

On a computer, connect to http://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com and follow the prompts to check your email account with DPS. Then you should be able to connect.

The content viewer Adobe (which I downloaded an hour ago) does not work. He said: "Please update your App.", but no update is available? Do not know what is happening. Any ideas?

You cannot produce sheets in InDesign 6 and display in the viewer of content until that Apple approves the update of the content viewer. So far, continue to use InDesign 5 or 5.5.

  • How is it important to have content no flash for iPAD?

    Hello.

I'm busy building a site with a press of the image in the header with some images of products. This press works with flash which does not work with iPAD. How important you rates for certainly no flash content they present the odd cosmetic slide show here and there?

    Kind regards

    Deon

In my humble OPINION, the exponential growth of these devices makes it very important.

Based on the graphic content you choose, it's the difference between something that supports the goals of the site and an empty space.

  • Limits for Adobe Content Viewer for iPad. Is there a limit?

    Hello group.

I built a prototype of my project to share with our team of advertising under a custom connection. Sales reps would download the Adobe Content Viewer on their iPads and use a single Adobe ID to view this project. There are approximately 50 sales representatives who would be loging using the same login.

Is it possible that multiple users could connect you with the same login?

I ask because some sales representatives can connect you while others may not.

    Thank you.

    Andrea

    There is no limit.

  • Folio not listed is not in the Adobe Content Viewer on a few iPads

I worked on the development of an iPad app in InDesign CS6 using Adobe DPS. In most cases, the process has been working smoothly until recently. Once connected to Adobe Content Viewer on my iPad third generation, folio fine watch and downloads as expected. However, when others with iPads older download Content Viewer and connect, they do not see the folio in option. For example, a person with a second generation iPad, which has the latest iOS, could not see the folio in the Viewer. I stripped the app by the way 40megs, size of thought could be a problem, but after several users have identical results experience, I don't think that's it. Someone had a similar problem, and what I can do on my end to make the application compatible with a wide range of iPads?

What is the size of the folio? If it's 2048 x 1536, it will be displayed on the iPad HD but not the iPads of 1024 x 768. If it's a folio of 1024 x 768, it should appear on all iPads.

  • Missing folios in Adobe Content Viewer on iPad

I am connected to my adobe account in indesign on my desk, as well as in the adobe content viewer on my iPad. All of the folios I designed are saved, updated and transferred on my cloud (they are also visible in my folio Panel). However, none of them saved presentations are visible in adobe content viewer even thought I'm connected. I need to be able to get these presentations on the iPad as soon as possible.

I confirmed that this fix will be in the update, we have planned for the first week of February.

    Help please.

    Thank you

    James.

Ok. Thanks for the additional info.

You will never see this particular folio in the Adobe Content Viewer on your iPad.

Only folios exactly of size 1024 x 768 px (landscape, portrait or two directions) are valid for iPad

  • Strange problem of Content Viewer: downloads don't "stick".

I got a Folio to be downloaded it appeared after update to the last Content Viewer on my iPad (retina, retina and iPad 2 standard mini).

For some reason any after quiting Content Viewer on my iPad and start the application content viewer, tapping to see this folio resulted in a blank screen on my iPad. It seemed that Content Viewer app crashed.

After quiting the app again and restart the application, he says that the folio is in the cloud. I need to download again.

From there, you can repeat these steps again and again: download; read; close the application content viewer; start the application content viewer; read folio: empty and crash;  Folio restart Content Viewer: from iPad and must be downloaded again. Repeat steps.

I tried to remove the version downloaded from the app and the re - download: same result.

I've deleted the content viewer from my iPad and reinstalled from App Store: same result.

I then completely rebuild the folio in InDesign under another account CC. Connected on my iPad under this account, downloaded the folio of reconstruction... And I can repeat it all over again... Download do not 'glue' and block the Viewer application.

Then I tried with all new fees folios of cool new InDesign pages. Same result!

But... On my iPad2, it seems fine. On my retina iPads, it won't. Also lack of blankets and I see double entries (it shows already downloaded folios!).

There is no "renditions", just 1024 file PDF. Tried with compatibility v26 and v29, makes no difference.

I'm stumped... I have no idea where start even solve this other than the steps that I have already mentioned above...

Characters non-ASCII in the title would be the cause (he has a slash and the copyright sign)? No, which seems to make no difference...

    Bug...?

This problem is corrected in r30, however exit r30 content viewer Adobe has not yet been approved by Apple. If you are a customer or company, pro you can build the latest version of Adobe Content Viewer for iOS using App Builder instead of waiting for approval from Apple.

  • New issue of tools/content viewer

I use the Folio Builder to create presentations, and then have users connect in the Adobe Content Viewer on their iPads to download and present.  I have actually never publish presentations, just use the content viewer.  Is there a solution similar 'free' to do this same thing with the new 2015 DPS?  I do not want to publish anything and spend ridiculous amounts, just keep using a free viewer.

    Hi Bill,

To preview the content with DPS 2015, you'll need a DPS license or an account test.

  • Unable to see Content Viewer folio, folio does not

For the last week, I was unable to load any folio and view it on the Adobe Content Viewer on my iPAD. This is getting very frustrating. I tried to rebuild. I tried to use the properties V27, V28 - both without success. This problem is ongoing for more than a week. I don't really know how to solve this problem, and there is nothing which is understandable on the FORUM.

Please a member of the ADOBE STAFF can solve this problem.

I have time to make it work, there seems to be a very big lack of communication from ADOBE on this issue despite what I read on the forum.

I can build in InDesign, but when I have the iPad tethered to my computer and I open the application viewer content nothing appears. Also when I go from Adobe, it's not here either.

    Hi Neil,

It turned out to be the OOBE problem, that I had to remove all applications of CC and start all over again. Everything works now, but it has been very frustrating days. Thanks, Neil!

  • Unable to connect to Adobe Content Viewer

I'm unable to connect to Adobe Content Viewer to watch some InDesign templates. What should I use for my username? I tried my Adobe ID and also my name of the account holder. Not good. Whenever it comes up with 'authentication failed.

Adobe Content Viewer is for the former work of Digital Publishing Suite.

If you actually try to watch a folio, you must visit digiitalpublishing.acrobat.com, log in here and accept the conditions for use.
