  First 13 elements absolutely works with Windows 7!

  In fact, I highly recommend you download the free trial version and give it a test run.

  In the meantime, go to Windows Update and make sure you have all the updates of Windows, including those who do not automatically install it. Then go to the website of ATI / nVidia and ensure that you have the latest driver for your graphics card and go to Apple.com and ensure you have the latest version of Quicktime, by the requirements of the program.

• How to convert an existing project to react CP8?

  Hi, I just upgraded my CP7 CP8 to workflow. Is there a way to convert existing projects of admissible CP7 of project inside CP8 folder? Or is it possible manually only?

  I watched a series of perfect official tutorials on CP8 on the Youtube channel of production Allen and Pooja, but on my question, I'm not sure, that it can be realized by converting or start it manually.

  Workflow is completely different, you cannot expect an easy conversion, agree with that.

  Everything is not functional (yet) in responsive design: no stripe, any form of polygon, no drag & drop to mention just a few.

  Here to point out that you can use any other project as an external library library, might help to save time for the assets?

• Drag drop files always in temp\VMwareDND which is a symptom of the problem?

  I realized for the first time as the files that are Drag'n dropped from OS X to Windows VM apparently first go to ~ \Appdata\Local\Temp\VMwareDND.

  I noticed this only because:

  I dropped a WORD DOC file on the WINDOWS desktop.  I then opened it in MS WORD.  When I tried to make a BACKUP-from Word, the target folder that appeared in the Save dialogue was... \VMwareDND, no office!

  This DOC file is still in VMwareDND.

  Out of curiosity, I tried to drag / drop files more. These files later are NOT now in VMwareDND. But the first file I have slipped and fallen still exists in VMwareDND.

  Why does the first file in VMwareDND like the rest of the files?

  Was there a problem that the file has been copied from OS X to WINDOWS?

  Should I be worried that maybe the file was not copied correctly? This file was only a 5 page doc, but I am concerned about large binary files.

  As the files that are drag ' n dropped go via the folder %TEMP% windows is by design.

  It also means that if you try to DND a file that is larger than the space available on the unit that contains only your temporary folder will fail to copy.

  If I remember correctly you can get around this by changing the file folder in your installation of windows to use another drive.

  In regard to the original not getting file not deleted, it is difficult to say. Don't have youby accident registered there in MS Word?

  It could be a bug that animates its not deleted in the temporary folder after copy successful using DND, but it is not a great problem because the temp folder is deleted when you select 'Disk cleanup' in the context menu properties under.

  There are also opportunities under profiles to delete the contents of the temp folder when you restart your guest.

• Drag & drop doesn't work only in Internet Explorer

  I am no longer able to drag & drop something in Internet Explorer.  I often drag text to a search box or a box on a form.  This feature has stopped working.  As soon as I try to drag text highlighted my cursor becomes a circle with a line through it.

  What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you ALREADY had on this
  machine, including those you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).

  If no joy there's something blocking perhaps.

  Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE with no Addons - what works best?

  IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

  IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security tab - click on reset all default areas - apply / OK

  Close and restart IE or IE with no addons

• Cannot find the combination of rollover image/button/drag / drop

  Hi all

  I use 9 Captivate and work of the interaction that left me speechless. I'm trying to put up with images that will be used for drag-and-drop interaction, and I want the images to have a rollover State to indicate that they are clickable. When you click on it, a display window that provides more information to the user to determine the correct items to drag and drop.

  I tried at first to use a regular image and then add a "Rollover" State, but then I couldn't understand how to assign an action to indicate when this State will come into force. (Is there a way to associate a hotspot of mouse with a picture?) Then I tried to use an image button, which worked very well in the measure where using the rollover State and I used some conditional formatting and the variables for my more info boxes to show when the item has been clicked. However, I didn't until I had finished this part that the buttons can be used as drag objects, OH.

  I thought to use an invisible on an image button so that I could get the most information to display and the image can still be used as a drag-and-drop object, but then brings me back to not knowing how to get the rollover State to work. :/

  Suggestions as to how I can achieve the Trifecta of turning State/button/drag / drop?

  You can not interactive objects as sources of drag or drop targets. Only interactive objects have the integrated rollover state that appears automatically when the cursor is on the object.

  Drag sources and drop targets also have InBuitl States, but turnover is not one of them. Take a look at this article to see all the Inbuilt says in & slipped:

  States customized like the one you created for the object can only be triggered by an event. Rolling a normal object is not an event, which explains why you can not modify a report on working capital. Except, maybe (did not check) using the CpExtra of InfoSemantics widget (only for HTML output), which can be used as EventHandler (another widget to them for the SWF output).

  You can trigger an action when a drag source is dragged to a drop target, using stocks of the object (more: advice & slides - blog of Captivate ) but not before dragging you requested.

  At the moment I don't see a way to do what you ask (and this is the first time I see such a question in this forum). Must be D & D?

• If I uninstall and reinstall ss12, does this affect existing projects?

  My ss12 (installed from disk and updated to v. 12.1) is wrong.  Symptoms * are complex, but I think that a uninstall and reinstall may be claimed.

  My question: will be a uninstall and reinstall remove, alter, or otherwise cause problems with existing projects, of which some are finished and waiting to go on a DVD?

  * Symptoms include: logon failure first try; "Not responding" pop-up windows while the program is in place and works very well. Popups "Unresponsive" after I left the program [!], others.  In addition, on occasion during the withdrawal of the other programs I get a corrupted message on some sort of file ss12.  (Sorry, but I have not the screenshots of these messages.)  Usually works well once up and running, but erratic fringe issues make me nervous.

  Generalizing... a uninstall/reinstall of first Elements do not cause you to lose your saved projects.

  You have not want to move, delete or rename files/folders which is entered in the saved closed project after you save closing the project.

  Some preferences may have to re - set the reinstallation. And, if you have created custom user and other effects

  You must save them and reinstall after reinstalling the program.

  In addition, worst thing... Save your file online to avoid having to re - download you downloads of content.

  a. to a project or a particular project

  project b. preset/properties of the media/source of the project size and complexity of the content timeline

  d. computer resources as well as locations for Scratch disks

• I can't get 8 Captivate to allow me to paste slides from another project into an existing project

  I am trying to copy some simulation glide of a project in an existing project in captivate 8.  When I go to paste the slide, I do not see the screen.  There is a white background on the top of the screen of the stimulation.  See screen print below.  I need drag 152 to display information like drag 151.  It's in the background of the 152 slide but you can't see him because he's behind the white part of the slide.  What I am doing wrong?  Help, please

  

  Examine the properties for slide 152. Try to delete the Master Page option and see if that changes anything.

  In the hierarchy on the left tab, simply mouse click and hold, then drag it to anywhere in your page 1.

  If all your objust respect this subform, they will also. If any other subforms are on the same 'level' you would have to select them separately or pressed cntl and click to select multiple

  and also a button 'Download' but also using data (I won't use of node.js or any database for this project).

• Difficult to drag / drop in the timeline

  I use a 15 "MacBook Pro with OS X 10.8.2.

  When I drag and drop the assets of the project or the preview in the timeline window, the screen jumps in zoom in sight, as it tries to help me, but it's not. The same thing happens when I try to drag horizontally or vertically in the timelime. Here is a small video on Vimeo to show you the desires that passes.

  Otherwise, what is the resolution of your monitor to laptop? The program requires a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768 - and in my books, I recommend that to see the workspace and its panels, you have at least 1280 x 1024.

  We went just to XI of the 8. We use the drag and drop function to merge several pdf files. This function is no longer available? The only thing found was import the function 'insert pages' which is an extra step and seems to have trouble quickly. This function blocks for nearly 30 seconds, and then restarts. Any direction would be much appreciated.

  When you launch Acrobat 11, the splash screen has an element "Combine files to PDF" allows you to drag & drop files and rearrange easily. The same thing is available under: file > create > combine files into a single PDF

  After you install AE 9.0.3 on Win 7 x 64, I'm running in GUI glitches when drag and drop items in the graphical interface that is not correctly updated. For example, when I reorganize the effects in the control panel of effects or when I drag / drop a preset on the teamline. The GUI is not refreshed to cleanly, leaving upleasant "trails" that show the motion I did. When I release the mouse button, some panels get a complete refresh (for example the panels of timelines and effects controls), while the effects and parameters predefined remains full of garbage.

  The solution is to run After Effects on Windows 7 using the Windows Vista compatibility mode. You can set the by right-clicking on the application After Effects CS4 shortcut, selecting Properties and then choosing Windows Vista (or one of the entries for a Service Pack for Vista) from the menu "run this program in compatibility mode for" on the Compatibility tab.   I am a beginner in flex and I would like to have information.

  In an application that I do, I want to use the datagrid control. I also use a trash can. The data grid lines are not removed directly: they are send to the trash.

  I also want to restore the data to the trash. I know that I can use this transfer with drag & drop, but I would use a button too.

  For example, a "Restore" button will send the first row selected in the datagrid control. And deleted the datagrid button will send the line to the trash.

  You have an idea on the code I should use?

  I made some customizations to one of the design templates and saved these changes.  I want to have these changes applied to existing projects or new, how do I do it?  Also when you make customizations to the design model, I seem to be able only to make some changes.  For example: the first point is a TEB - I am able to change the legend of success and failure boxes but only with regard to style, I can't seem to change the text.  It reads 'Success Type text here.'  I want to always read "Correct!"  so, how can I implement this without having to change the text for each item in the project?

  After you create your design template, you apply when opening a project that you want to apply the template to. Then, you click the window menu and choose the design template.

  

  This opens the design template Panel. From there, you choose a template to apply to your project.

  Indeed, you can request only the Visual characteristics. The text is influenced by the object later in the draft edition.

  I don't think that you will be able to influence it. Not with a design template. What you can do is to create a pre-configured model project with the legends. Then you could copy and paste as needed to accomplish it.

  You add your voice to others who wish to see greater flexibility with default settings such as what you're asking. To do this via the Wish form.
