When you open a file in Dreamviewer it opens in design mode, which is ok and everything works fine but switching mode Code the Dreamweaver is unresponsive and Windows is trying to find a solution to the problem and the only thing I can do is to close the application. I tried to add the html extension so that when opening the file, the file will be opened in Code view immediately, but the help of this n.

  Hi, well it took me a while, but I have maanged to find the solution... and, of course, the problem of this crash. After I installed a few new fonts (that I forgot to mention) switching code view crashes Dreamweaver. So, the solution is:

  (1) power up Dreamweaver and before opening any file/s go to Edition-> Preferences (or CTRL + U).

  2) go to "fonts."

  (3) change the font that is in "Code view" to "Courier new".

  (4) it's she!

  * You can also (and it is advisable) to change "fixed fonts" for "Courier new"!

  (5) restart Dreamweaver (not required) and you should be able to switch from Design view to the Code mode without any problem!

  Hi all

  I have the HP Pavilion dv4-1548dx Entertainment Notebook w / 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and erased the computer and installed a full charge of Win7 Ultimate 64. I installed all the drivers concerned on HP page.

  When I stopped, my computer sometimes freezes on the pages of Win7 "Logging OFF... "and while the icon of the ring runs very well, nothing happens and sometimes I have to make a hard closed down by holding the button for 4 seconds power about.

  I have a few additional programs installed, would highlight Adobe CS3, ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite, and Office 2003.

  Anyone else experienced this or have any ideas?

  Thanks for the reply. I note that my problem seems to have disappeared on its own. the only thing I did was to reinstall the wireless drivers, but don't know if it was the solution. It seemed, to the contrary, go in as a result of various windows updates, but it may have been the driver update/reinstall wireless network.

• Bridge CC 64-bit Win7 crashes

  When I open the bridge, it crashes and I get the message ' bridge as it has stopped working. "  I tried to uninstall. But it will not uninstall. I get the error message "uninstallation failed" when I look into Adobe CC it shows it uninstalled.  I then click on install and it goes through the process, but it still crashes.  Is it possible to manually uninstall the bridge? • How to rebuild a local site in Dreamweaver 8 after computer crash

  My computer died, and I have a new windows machine (10) where I installed my original software to Dreamweaver 8.  I moved the external drive connected to my old computer with all my website files to the new computer.  I have unfortunately no files from any site (ste).   What is involved in the reconstruction of my 5 sites in my new environment of dreamweaver?  I guess I set the 5 sites with the site manager and identify the path suitable for images used by each site.   What of my models?  Do I have to re - attach each template to each page that it uses one by one?  Is there anything else I need to do?  Thanks for any help you can provide.

  Thank you. The models are present, but I found that if I make a change to a model, it had not spread to all of the files that we.  It seems I have to reinstall one by one, unless someone knows another way.

• Photoshop 2014 (Win7) crashes when you save large files

  Hello

  A new user in our design Department has problems with its Photoshop 2014 frequently crashing when saving large files.

  It runs on a new brand PC (Windows 7 x 86), which has all the latest drivers for hardware and Windows updates. CC Adobe indicates that no update is available for Photoshop.

  After installation of the product, I'm not particularly familiar with Photoshop, so apologies if it is a common/known issue that I'm not aware of.

  I don't think it's a hardware problem as only Photoshop is having these issues (the user is also AutoCAD 2014, which works perfectly). However, I ran Memtest 86 + all night, who reported no errors.

  No offense, but for any PS works by today's standards, what you have here is simply not enough. The registration process fails probably simply run out of memory during the generation of the preview or other operation. Unless you add more RAM and get the 64 bit, your problems probably will not disappear, and I would like to same thing working with ACAD on such a system is not particularly nice, considering the amount of RAM it uses to load its libraries and a few other things...

• Dreamweaver CC slow 20141, crashes, loses the passwords... Should I return to a different version?

  I used Dreamweaver since version 2 in 1998. These days I use it mainly for editing PHP / HTML / CSS. I don't use much visual editing features.

  With each new version, Dreamweaver gets slower and less reliable. I'm at my wits end. This morning:

  1. When you use find: functionality of the whole of the Site locally on a site relatively important (about 10 000 pages) find it just stops about 20% through, takes up 100% of my CPU, blocks indefinitely. I have to force quit.
  2. At the opening of the files with a frame of considerable javascript (e.g. twitter bootstrap) opening files, bringing even the update file, saving files, is unbearably slow. I already disabled enable related files.
  3. For the first time, Dreamweaver is now lost my FTP passwords and I have to type them again from scratch. Might have to do with force - quit (see #1).

  I am looking for a replacement at this stage code editor. So far, nothing is enough to the invoice. In the meantime, can anyone recommend a process to get Dreamweaver to be faster and more reliable? I am quite willing to downgrade, etc..

  Thanks for the idea. I checked PHPStorm but is really not to my taste. I grew up with Dreamweaver (use it I think for 10 years and more) and I'm used to my workflow. Also, I pay for it, so I'd just like to work well. Right now, the performance degrades with each subsequent update.

  I would like Adobe to ensure that editing basic HTML is still catchy and effective before he bloating with features WYSIWYG using perhaps only 5% of us.

  Adobe support has been friendly with me on the phone. They gave me a link to download the previous version of Dreamweaver, and it's such a relief. I didn't have to go back to the CS6, just the previous version of 2014. HTML editing is reasonably fast again. In the last version, each backup took 4 + seconds, which makes back and forth between the browser and the bulky HTML.

  Dreamweaver 8 predates Windows 7 then Yes, it could be.  You can try running in compatibility mode.  Or something to think about is the fact that Adobe only allows users to upgrade earlier versions of 3.  The current version of CS5 (11) back to 3 versions.  From CS6, you pay full price again.  So as this is your last chance to upgrade, I recommend as the best route to go.

• Try to download Dreamweaver but the installation crashes every time. Tried another browser, using Mac.

  BTW this support is not easy to use. Had to click through like 20 options even get there. Adobe, download your entire customer service for crying out loud.

  In support of cat finally got a hold of someone. I had to download the application and install it from there, and it works beautifully.

• Dreamweaver CS5 suddenly began crashing today whenever I tried to put a file. What should do?

  Worked fine all day, until it didn't. Now, one of the files I'm trying to put/update has even disappeared from the remote server. I am running Windows 7 Professional. I deleted the file cache and then reinstalled the entire configuration file, as recommended on the Adobe site, but it made no difference. I finally deleted preferences together and generate new demand, and that did not help either. Thanks in advance for any help.

• CC of Dreamweaver crashing 10 or more times a day

  Hi people, my Dreamweaver CC (latest version) crashes too often. Sometimes it hangs on a file then will crash whenever I try to re - open the same file. The only thing that stops it is to open the file in Dreamweaver CS3, edit and save. Then it usually opens ok in CC. In addition, it crashes often when I am trying to use the scrollbar in Live view mode. Any ideas? Very frustrating problem!

• 13.2 CC of Dreamweaver crashing on Windows

  Hi people,

  Dreamweaver CC 13.2 crashes on my 2 laptops since purchasing it a couple of days. I tried to reinstall it but no difference. laptop computers are Windows 7 and 8.1 of Windows with the latest updates. The problem is reproduced whenever I open any file index.html. The program immediately quits

  "Dreamweaver CC Adode has stopped working"

  I can, however, change the files css and js without a problem.

  Help!, what is the problem here?

  There may be something in the index file that is originally DW to choke.

  The usual suspects are protocol related links (links that start by / / rather than http or https), a lot of rules @import in the page or one of its sheets of style or links to a third-party host files (javascript or css). Usually they will cause just a slowdown, I guess with a slight boost of "something else" that they could cause an accident.

  Is it possible to page is online somewhere that we could take a look?
