• "initialization of extension data" crash

  Dreamweaver CS6 worked without problem until today, when I try to start the standard program on MacBook Pro OSX green splash screen appears and says loading cache site then initialize Extension Data and that's where he stops running, never gets past that point.

  Read the documentation, I followed along to delete the files in library > application support of > adobe > dreamweaver CS6. This folder has now only of EN_US

  My next step was library > Preferences > and rename dreamweaver adobe CS6 preferences - so I did this.

  I rebooted the MacBook but I just got back from hanging up the same indicating Extension data during initialization.

  Any help will be welcome.

  Extensions or add-ons that you use?

  You can try to disable them in the extensions Manager to see if DW can get past this point.

  Seit vielen Jahren am ich an einer application mit Dreamweaver in der Version CS4, und einer Microsoft Access data base. Die Servertechnologie ist ASP mit als script language VBScript.

  Nun official mir mein bisheriger provider a dass mein appearance auf einem veralteten Webserver so welcher die Sicherheitsbestimmungen nicht mehr und von nicht mehr wird supported Microsoft standards. Systembedingt von der Wirtschaftlichkeit Webserver to Pascal Zukunft often werden.

  Was Wenn mein appearance weiter tumors soll, muss das Ganze a new server postage ore werden auch passiert ist schon auf. Ist auf dem neuen Server die data base nicht mehr Nur mit der application can.

  Geändert hat sich folgendes: auf dem previous server so:

  .NET framework 1.1.4322 und 5.8 VB-Script

  Auf dem neuen server so ein Windows-IIS 8 mit ASP 3.5 4.5 und sowie VBScript 5.8.

  DAS sind die ich bekommen habe bisher information. Unklar ist von nach wo wo (ASP? und zu 3.5 ASP VBScript? zu VBScript 5.8) ich upgraden would.

  Mein rat dazu provider (da er selbst keine zu ASP browser skills) einen programmers mit ASP - und Serverkenntnissen zu suchen, der mir die results will im Code physician kann. ICH würde ja auch like meinen Dreamweaver al, faith aber nicht dass ich allein das jetzige problem losen wurde damit, sei denn ich mire frock von a und das möchte ich eher draft.

  VIELLEICHT kann ja mit recht wenig justification die Datenbankverbindung wiederhergestellt werden.

  Oder're gibt einen other provider der mich mit meinem system aufnehmen wurde und mir mehr Zeit gibt something're auf den newest Stand zu bringen.

  WER kann mir helfen oder Tipps give?

  As far as I know, ASP 3.5 and 4.5 is for ASP.NET, which is different from the classic ASP. Dreamweaver used to have server for ASP.NET, but these behaviors have been removed from Dreamweaver CS4, because they were very up to date. Update to the latest version of Dreamweaver will not help you. I wish I could offer more help, but I think that you must find a competent programmer in ASP.NET.

• Dreamweaver CS4 extension manager

  Dreamwever CS4 is installed on a laptop. So Production Premium CS6 when I try to use the Dreamweaver extensions Manager, only the CS6 applications rise.  How can I add to Dreamweaver CS4 extensions as the CS6 Production is installed?   I really don't need a new version of Dreamweaver, I need new version of Production Premium.

  You should use the extension appropriate for the product now Manager.  In other words use Manager of the CS4 of extensions for CS4 products, CS5 for CS5 and CS6 CS6 products.

  I didn't have Internet Information Services is installed initially, and I discovered that if it is not installed, it may cause this error, so I installed it, but I still get the error. No idea what can be causing this?

  Could you change the URL:

  'http://localhost/router/'.

  And see what happens.  There is an extra forward slash [/] at the end of the URL

  After back if this does not work.

  Creative suite Adobe CS 4 is a very old software and the operating system you are using is the most recent, so there may be compatibility issues that adobe has not tested these applications on newer operating systems.

  However, you can try downloading & installing the installer for Adobe creative suite 4 CS from following link:

  Thank you for your answer, I would have responded earlier but I couldn't connect to Adobe. My problem has been resolved to try another method:

  I got my first runtime error when I opened a text with Dreamweaver document I created on my desktop, as a first step, the file extension was. CSS.txt, I did a .css file and if I right click and 'open with' Dreamweaver I would get the runtime error.

  Since then, I created a site definition and created all things in Dreamweaver and had no problem with the runtime errors.

  I followed a tutorial on disk to decide and I really wanted to complete, but instead, I resized each image and put in model built-in Dreamweaver. I had to adjust because of the time sensitivity.

  I'll definitely try slicing on my own time from there, lol

  I did, and errors are not arrived.
  So here's how I solved the problem:
  In Extensis Suitcase X 1 I pruned my fonts affects a single folder in the control panel "sets".
  I then activated it a folder
  Then, I went to the "list of fonts filter' (the drop-down menu under the heading 'sets') and set it to the"font suitcase.
  In the "Fonts" pane, I deleted all the fonts that is NOT active (there wasn't a lot of delete).
  Then I rebooted my Mac

  Done everything! I didn't know that I had accumulated so much unwanted policies over the past two years! And here I thought I was keeping it on top of my fonts.

  This is a public forum - no official technical support Adobe.  I am a user of colleagues who does not to pry into someone's computer.   Which is your property to keep as you seem.  If you want, hire an it expert specialist in your area to help you.  But don't ever invite strangers to your computer.  Not sure what they can do for you, your files, your identity, your software, etc...

  When DW starts acting strange, the first thing to try is to remove the corrupt in DW Cache

• Dreamweaver CS4, XML Parsing Fatal Error - tried everything, without success

  Open Dreamweaver (CS4), I now have the message "fatal error Parsing XML: structure of a document not valid, line 1 file: Users / {username} / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS4/en_US/Configuration/Workspace/Designer.xml.

  First of all, I'm on a Mac using OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

  Second - the path above does not actually exist, so I can't follow the damaged file. Internal users / {my user-name / folder, there is no library, so he dead stop there.}

  What I did find with the Finder and found 2 Designer.xml files inside these 2 files

  Macintosh HD-> Applications-> Adobe Dreamweaver-> configuration-> workspace

  and

  Macintosh HD-> Applications-> Adobe Dreamweaver-> configuration-> WorkspaceMac

  I followed what I read after some searching around, which was to remove Designer.xml files. I deleted both. Does not solve it. When I opened DW, got the same exact error message.

  I read that, if this does not work, try to delete the folder of configuration in the damaged file. Did. DW still gave me an error and does not open.

  At this point, I don't know what to do, and I'm particularly confused because of this path in the error message that's not here yet.

  You can try to reset the Dreamweaver preferences.

  Following the file and the folder are removed from your system:

  / Users / your User Name/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver

  Rename the folder of Dreamweaver preferences, for example, Dreamweaver CS5.5 Old_Dreamweaver CS5.5 folder.

  / Users / your user name/Library/Preferences

  Rename the folder of Dreamweaver preferences, for example, Dreamweaver CS5.5 Old_Dreamweaver CS5.5 folder.

  Restore preferences in Dreamweaver CS4 and CS5, CS5.5

  Access the hidden library files Mac OS

  When Dreamweaver starts, it creates a new preferences file and the folder.

  If it helps doesnot, maybe you can try to create a new admin user account and check. If this is useful, you can try to uninstall and reinstall in the new user account.
