It will work in much the same way that the preview of the device, allowing you to test your site on any device connected to your local area network, without the possibility of a server somewhere on the internet crash taking the feature down...

• Insert a table CS4 Dreamweaver button does not work.

  I've recently upgraded from an earlier version of Dreamweave to Dreamweaver CS4. But now I have a problem with the insertion of tables.

  They have the drop-down list at the top right for Classic, encoder, encoder and so on.   I searched on google and I can't find anything. I keep change the view, but one day soon if this keeps up, I'll miss points of view and its such a habit to use the button rather than the shortcut Ctrl + Alt + T.

  Try the following

  Re-create the Dreamweaver CS4 and registry Configuration

  -Rename the folder with any name of the . (just add any character I suggest)

  C:\Documents and Settings\ [username] \Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\Configuration

  - recreate the registry file

  Start > run > regedit

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Adobe > Dreamweaver > 10. Rename the 10 ex: 10_old

  If your Adobe id is shown here, then please try steps below once

  1. disconnection of DW (Help menu > disconnect)

  2. quit Dreamweaver

  3. wait 1 minute and then restart Dreamweaver

  My copy of DW also works as you describe, I think it's just "the way that it is" in DW.

  To copy a file from another location on your computer to your site, copy it from the original location and paste it into the site folder within windows Explorer (do not use DW at all).

  You can also drag a file from your desktop to your files window in DW to make a copy.
