Drive HARD DT01ACA050 S/N 44K02MNGS - put in custody

Please I need a help here.

I bought the hard drive mentioned above in October 2014 and after 3 months of use of smart from my Pc has warned me of my backup due to my HDD of health condition system is bad.

Which means that it can fail any time.

The unfortunate part of all this is that I have can´t find reception, the HARD drive was purchased from Conrad store at Essen Germany.Manufacture date is 04-2014.

What should I do now?

Concerning

Toshiba hard drives are covered with a valid, standard 2-year guarantee from the date of purchase.

But if a claim under guarantee is necessary the proof of purchase is always necessary.

I don t think that any dealer or manufacturer of the equipment would accept a claim under warranty without a valid purchase

  • Drive HARD external won't free up space.

    Hello

I got my Macbook Pro in 2014 and the agreement of Apple, I got a 1 TB of HDD to go with it. If I delete the files on the drive HARD internal of my Mac can I reclaim this space. If I delete the files on the external HARD disk nothing happens, the files are destroyed, but the remaining space remains unchanged. The same thing happens with my memory stick. I put these two devices wrongly? How to free up space without formatting them and start again?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi a Brain Cell:

Plug the external hard drive on the computer, and then empty the trash.

Then check if the space is free to the top.

    Ditto for the USB key.

  • Can not format or partition the drive HARD on Satellite M30

I have a Toshiba Satellite model No. PSM30E
And the system is unable to access the HARD disk.
When I check the Bios setup it can detect the HARD drive.

When I run windows setup to boot from the CD he sees the HARD disk with the correct size, but it cannot create partitions on it or if it can format the HARD drive. I tried the HARD disk partitioning using another system and I was able to partition and format. But when I plug in the laptop he sees just the whole HARD disk in unpartitioned space and also does not format them or partitioning it.

Y at - it shaped a locking mechanism that prevents access to the disk partitioning or setting?
My other question is, perhaps, the problem of the IDE connector?

    Any suggestions or help?

    Hello

I don t think there is something wrong with the IDE controller. Fact is that the BIOS do not show simple partitions but only whole HARD disk size.
I put t know how you tried to format the HARD disk or to create partitions on this disk HARD but in fact different OS uses the standards of different format and this may the reason for your problems!

I think you should try to boot from the original Windows XP CD. Let's launch the setup and format the whole HARD drive and erase all partitions!
I noticed that Toshiba recovery CD couldn t runs correctly on wrong formatted HDD!

  • Mystery needs Solution! Drive hard dv6258se

    Hello

I recently got an error #1-07 on my test diagnostic message and decided to replace my hardrive.  I checked the specs for my box and ordered a SSD drive suitable to replace the original disc.  Or at least I thought it was the original drive.  The form of State that my box comes with a SATA I drive, but the bios and Device Manager claim that the drive is SCSI.  My box has been recalled twice to correct the defects/factory model, pourrait HP replaced the SATA drive with SCSI drive during this time?  I check the model number two disks to check what they are, but that did not really help since the original Toshiba MK1234GSX both the new 830 SSD from Samsung come in SATA and SCSI.  I checked the Samsung is SATA, but cannot confirm the Toshiba.

I could format and restore the SSD from the restore disks, but restarting failed and the bios did not find the hard drive.  Subsequent attempts to restart grew up a NVIDIA, read error.  When I put the disc Toshiba back in it starts but is still VERY slow.  Click, wait 10 minutes, click, wait...

Everything I read on the State of the boards that the default value of the bios is SATA, but retoring bios factory settings has not solved the problem.

What is going on?  Please help and advise.

    Thank you.

PS being new I accidentlally posted in the wrong place: you will find a more detailed description in the Desktop section, where I posted recently submitted: hp dv6258se drive hard toshiba appearing as SCSI but spec says SATA

Yes, him talking about HP guy to me and I even found many other complaints about the disks SATA is read as a SCSI, it was a common occurrence from 06-08 and then had no performance impact that is a possible reason why the SSD is not compatible in theory it should be.

.. .He explained that because player plugs directly into the motherboard and the chipset software is only formatted to read things a specific way that it will NEVER be read a SATA as a SATA, which might be why the dv6000 are not able to recognize any SSD.  I.E. HP dv6000 is capricious and has a few quirks, if SSD does not occur.

So I'm going to buy a traditional HD, a cert HP technician think I should be able to go as high as a 500 GB HD, but I really just to get my box of operation, so I agree with a 120 GB.

Thanks for your help solved mystery.

  • Delete/reformat the drive hard partition (s) to activate the operating system reinstall

I have a HP 2000 2b09wm. He just broke, gives me the error message saying in that I needed a new hard drive. Suppose the old went kaput (even though I bought this pc on eBay not a month or two before). I have a new HD and a Windows 8 reinstall the software from a dealer on eBay. I tried several routes to try to reinstall the OS, resulting in many dead ends *. I asked the dealer to help, but did not get much. The last thing he offered was to remove the partitions in the new HD. I looked at a page eHow, how to remove Partitions on a hard drive. It is said to get a CD which includes fdisk.com. I burned super fdisk (2 MB) of SFbootablecd.iso and fdisk (40 MB) of fd11src.iso. I went into the BIOS to set the boot order. I put the saved first, CD/DVD-ROM internal drive and tried the two CDs. It always starts with just a screen with this:

    Not found boot device
Please install an operating system on your hard drive
    Hard drive (3F0)
    F2 System Diagnostics
For more information, please visit: www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup

I even tried to put the CD/DVD ROM USB drive first... same results.

So my questions to you, I guess, is first of all, why the CDs fdisk is not start? I burn the evil fdisk? Second, do you know why my OS couldn't be installed using the software to reinstall? The guy I got it (http://www.ebay.com/itm/181524428825?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT) , verified_computer_specialists, has excellent comments, so I guess that the software is legitimate and the computer is actually original with Windows 8.

    Thank you.

    Thank you
    Megan

    Hello

    You do not convert it.

When you install a hard drive with an operating system already installed from another machine (HP) in to another machine (Sony), you must reinstall the operating system, using the correct disc for this Sony computer.

Contact Sony and ask them to send you a recovery disc for this model.

Normally, they do this for a small fee.

Then reinstall the operating system using the correct disks.

    Another issue to consider:

It is not legal to install / transfer the license of operating system OEM HP for a Sony.

This license is linked to the HP machine.

    See you soon.

  • where can I find support for installing a drive hard hitachi

I'm working on the laptop of a friend (aspire 5253) who had a virus package root.  After spending hours trying to get out I decided to wipe the hard drive.  I glued the Win7 has begun the installation until I got the message BOOTMGR is missing. After moving to the front, the system is now looking for media drivers, most likely, hard drive...?  There is not a driver available for this portable device disc and the acer site has no driver, that he needs.  any suggestions on how to fix this?  THX in advance

    1. on another computer, download the tool and create a Windows 10 installation media.

    https://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/Windows10

    2. go aspire 5253 BIOS settings to activate the Boot Menu to boot from USB or DVD and then save/quit.

    3. start windows 10 support that you created in step 1.

    4. When you see the screen below, press SHIFT + F10, so you have access to a command prompt

    5. use "diskpart own", not only clean the hard disk, but also to put it in an uninitialized state (works for HDDs and SSDS)

    http://Forum.crucial.com/T5/the-CRU/reset-your-SSD-to-factory-settings-Windows-Diskpart/BA-p/162503

    6. Remove windows 10 installation and insert the media to install windows 7.

    7. turn off the computer (turn off the computer)

8 turn on the computer and install windows 7.  Select custom installation.  Do not partition or format the hard drive.  Just click on the drive (unallocated space) where you want to install windows, and then click "next".  Windows setup will automatically partition and format your drive for you. (Or if you use an Acer recovery media, follow the instructions of Acer)

9 Windows 7 drivers are here:

    http://us.Acer.com/AC/en/us/content/drivers

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Also, instead of install windows 7, you can install windows 10 If you want to give it a shot, but you will need to enter the key of windows 7 to a point, so you can activate the free upgrade.) It is difficult to say whether or not Windows will find all windows 10 drivers for your computer.  You may go directly to the website of component manufactures to find windows 10 drivers.  Acer does not provide 10 drivers for your computer... model and your computer may or may not work properly with windows 10)

  • Why can't replace my drive hard hp compaq 6200SFF 250gig with the largest disk

I think I posted this in the wrong section earlier.   I want to replace my drive hard HP Compaq 6200SFF with a larger 250gig. I've done it before with other computers with no problems. I bought a 500gig drive at a local store and makes a picture of Symantec Ghost (option was image-boot) to my 250gig drive.    Then I installed the drive and started again with my ghost drive.  Normally I just launch the function of disk image restore to restore the image of the old drive to the new drive.  When I tried to do with the 6200, very well restored ghost image but as soon as I start on the new drive, I get an error message saying that "windows does not stop normally.   I never get to see the Windows Startup logo and welcome screen or something else than this black screen with white letters.  Windows did end normally when I was last using the 250 GB drive and it will power off.  I can't get the restart to go further - I just get the same error screen - there is no options or choice - all said the message is to call your service representative.  Is there something special about 6200 readers?  Do you need to do something instead of or in addition to making a ghost image?  Is it something in the bios that should reset itself?

Thank you, Hanspuppa.  I think you have a more recent version of Acronis, I ghost.  However, I was able to solve my problem using the Windows repair disk.  I ghost a disk image (ghost - ib) of my drive hard old man and then did a ' local disk image - of ' put the image on my new drive.  I received the repetitive message "Windows 7 does not normally" but then inserted the windows repair disk and booted from it.  He finds that the boot image on the new drive was bad and repaired.  He did not cela easily - reboot/turn off many times before the finished repair disk, I had and the pc booted from the new hard drive properly.  Now, I can do this with windows 7 and the emulation of hard drive has been to AHCI.  Knit a friend and I tried to do this on an another HP6200 with an image of Windows XP. We did not have a handy XP repair disk, but we went in the settings of the bios under storage on disk and passed the SATA AHCI to IDE emulation.  When we restarted Windows message here once, we supported on enter and him went pc to boot normally.  So the problem revolved around the difference in the AHCI IDE and the boot image created by Ghost.

  • is it possible to see EVERY folder and file that exists on the drive hard on one screen and in one place just as you could do in much older versions.

OK... so I had an accident and there was good and bad news... the good news is that I was able to get it started and running "Save", but the bad news is that instead of giving a new image system clean (as I expected), I had a bunch of random pictures and other unimportant things and many important things seems lost but I think that its still all somewhere.

now... to the front sometimes there was a windows program called "windows explorer" that would put all folders and all files that was on the hard drive on a single screen, and you can search through them.    When I shoot to the top of the Explorer windows on win 7, I get a page with a bunch of files minor that some things in them, but not what I see already...

so... my question is simply "is it possible to see EACH file and a file that exists on the drive hard on one screen and in one place just as you do in earlier versions.    I did some research and went thru records that he will show me but I explicitly want is to see EACH file and folder that exists on one screen...

is it possible in win 7?   and if so, how, please

    Steven

    Steve,

Are you talking about the Windows Search function?

In Windows Explorer, open the top-level folder that you want to watch in [C:\Users\yourusername\Documents or whatever it is you want] then look in the upper right area - there is a white box to the right of the address bar.  This is the search box.  Type * and then pause and it lists all the files in this top-level folder down through its subfolders.

    Please help me...

    Hello

This error may be coming because of unavailable storage required for the motherboard drivers. You can follow the steps one by one, mentioned below and check if that helps.

Method 1: Uninstall, and then reconnect the external hard drive. This method solves the problems where the currently loaded USB driver has become corrupt or unstable.

    1. Click Start, type Device Manager in the box Search
    2. Click Device Manager in the returned list.
    3. Click disk drives in the list of hardware
    4. Right click on the USB external hard drive with the question and click Uninstall.
    5. Once the hard drive is uninstalled, disconnect the USB cable.
    6. Wait 1 minute and then reconnect the USB cable. The driver should load automatically
    7. Look for the USB key in Windows Explorer

Note: Connection of your USB external hard drive to a non powered USB hub can cause a lack of sufficient power to operate the external drive. Instead, plug it directly into your computer.

Method 2: Install the latest Windows updates.

This method will install the latest drivers for your external hard drive USB device.

    1. Click the Start button, type Windows Update in the search box, and then click Windows Update in the results pane.
    2. Click find updates. When the scan finished, click optional review updates.
    3. Click the check box next to the update, and then click install updates.
    4. If you are prompted, read the license agreement, then click I agree.
    5. Follow the instructions on the screen to download and install updates.
    6. If you are prompted, restart your computer.

If your problem still exists, go to method 3.

Method 3: Reinstall the USB controllers. This method addresses the steps where the USB driver currently loaded became unstable or corrupted.

    1. Click Start, type device in the area Manager Search , and then click Device Manager.
    2. Expand Bus USB controllers. Right click on a device, and then click Uninstall. Repeat for each device.
    3. When finished, restart your computer. Your USB controllers will automatically install.

If your problem persists, go to method 4.

Method 4: Disable USB selective suspend framework. This method prevents your power off USB external drive.

    1. Click the Start button, type power management in the search box, and then click choose a power plan.
    2. Next to your currently selected plan, click Change Plan settings.
    3. Click change advanced power settings.
    4. Click in the box USBsettings, and then expand the USB selective suspend settings.
    5. Click on the area, and then click the menu drop down and select disabled.
    6. If you use a laptop, click the cell, and then click the menu drop down and select disabled.
    7. Click apply, and then click OK.

If this does not resolve your issue, go to method 5.

Method 5: Install the latest drivers for your motherboard chipset. This method updates the chipset of your motherboard drivers, so that your computer will use your external USB hard drive.

    1. See the documentation for your computer that will contain the name of the manufacturer of the motherboard.
    2. Visit your computer manufacturer's support Web site. For a list of the computer manufacturers support sites, visit: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/contact-support/computer-manufacturers
      (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/contact-support/computer-manufacturers)
    3. Go to their Web site to find the appropriate drivers for your motherboard. For assistance, contact the manufacturer of your computer.

Please post with the State of the question.

  • Drive hard test has failed Hard disk 1 (303) fast for my HP mini 110-3700ca PC.

    Windows 7 32-bit operating system.

After a tragic accidental "bump" on the table (I think even it's so serious..), the computer begins to slow down considerably, and when I tried to restart it, it shows:

    Windows error recovery

Windows could not start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

He recommend me to launch startup repair, but because the HP mini is not a CD-Rom... It shows the error status: 0xc0000225.

It's pretty obvious that bumping could damage the hard drive, so I tried to run the disk check, and "hard disk 1 (303) fast" was all that I've got ACE.

I put a lot of files on my netbook, and I am desperate enough to see that it works again. Help, please!

    Hello

Well, it of very sad, could also be due to physical damage. Anyway, please do a HARD test drive:

    1. reboot the computer.
    2. keep pressing the F10 key when appears the HP logo. This will take you to the Bios configuration utility.
    3. Select the Diagnostics tab.
    4. Select the option "drive hard test" and press ENTER to perform the test.
Note: This test takes at least 40 minutes (with luck)

Go - the hard disk is not damaged, you can restore the data.
Fail - the hard drive is damaged and may need to be replaced, no choice.

    Kind regards.
