  We try to change an existing driver, but we are fairly new to Labview. We have a few generic questions, but I'll give you some specific info on what we are trying to do as well.

  We downloaded a driver (for NDI Polaris motion tracker) of the site NOR and want to change that a little bit.

  The zip file contains a subdirectory ndipolaris with 2 files .llb and some .mnu files.

  Our first problem is that if we just open the .llb files, there are a lot of vi in there (including examples of work), but there is no project files, or class definitions. What seems to prevent us from creating a new class that derives from a class that is apparently set in the driver (but which we don't seem to have the definition). Maybe a driver can be distributed without these definitions such as you can use it only, but not change?

  Our second problem is that if we use the method of 'create the new existing driver driver', the Polaris NDI does not appear in the list of existing drivers. (It has copied the directory ndipolaris to the labview/instr.lib directory and restarted labview). (This is probably not a major problem that we could change just the existing driver instead).

  Note that the existing driver works well. We just add a timestamp in the data. The existing driver apparently has a class (called "Info Tool", which is a cluster of a few different types of data) for all these info than the Polaris returns, so we thought to change this class or to derive a new class with added timestamp.

  Thanks to your suggestions, we settled it. We were baffled by the fact that you cannot add controls for "schema". Here's what we did:

  The data group was built using the "bundle by name" function, which takes a bunch of 'model' as input. It is this model that we had to change. However, as the model was a 'constant', it does not appear on the front panel and so we could not add any controls to it. For example, when you view the block diagram, we right-click on the clustering model, converted to a control, and then passed to the façade, created a new control (string) on the front panel and place in the control corresponding to the cluster model. Then we moved to the block diagram and convert our cluster model to a 'constant '.

  Not simple I think, but once you know (get help from you and read a bit of the operating instructions...), it's ok.

  Hi guys, I'm going to talk about my PC has 2 problems.

  1. The problem is when I turn on my computer and boot my system, after 20 minutes I'm playing games, it auto restart my PC several times. 2 weeks ago, my old diet was very serious problem and the cause cannot start my PC, so I bought one to replace. Until a few days ago, it worked with my PC. He still now, have the same problem, but that sometimes he can't start several times and then she came back to do it again. I thought that it will more work and not a problem. I am very nervous and furious...! >:(
  2. Another problem is that my drive hard(location is C:\), it cannot load my system sometimes as the first problem earlier. Not only that, when it is started my PC, I checked all my hard drivesof driver name(I have 2 HARD drive, everything is very old)right click on C:\, click 'Properties' and then click 'Material' tag for the driver name lists. I don't see a single HARD drive driver name(it's in D:\), not on C:\ Name of the driver drive HARD, but in 'My Computer', it takes C:\ icon to click. I don't know why a few months ago, it has worked until now, one is missing and we're still on the list of driver name.

  -For the second question, I suggest you to run a check disk and find if it helps.

  Important: When running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.
   
  Also check if all of the hard drive and the drive letters are displayed correctly.

  a. click on Start and then run.
  b. type diskmgmt.msc in the text box and press the enter key or press the OK button.

• Rename a folder with the character question mark (?) in the name of the file?

  The name of the folder in question has a format of "file name? This folder is on my external hard drive and was created when I've used OSX, which had the support of the character question mark (?).   Thanks for your replies. I don't have OSX, so I couldn't go that route. I found myself using Ubuntu to tide me over.

  I followed the conductor with the guide of the AAU (http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/con...) as well as the deployment of certificate (http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/con...) guide.  I have a root certification authority I use (lab.local), I installed the root certificate and the certificates of the host on both devices.  OpenSSL gives me the verification of the return code: 0 (ok), at once UCM and conductor during validation to the root certificate.

  I think that I followed the guides and double-checked against them.  Someone else has seen this? What Miss me?

  Keep the icons in the D drive or any other drive which is not the main drive does not affect the HARD drive somehow.

  I'm working on a project that the owner wishes to question to check knowledge 5 or more not classified after each of the 5 sections of the training.  At the end of the training, the owner wishes to rank issue.  I'm trying to find out if there is a way for me to simply copy the instead of recreating for the verification of knowledge (not rank) and again graded questions.  Any ideas?

  I'm afraid that no, there features built in and as you can see differences in the properties of Quiz Panel (you don't score, penalty, partial for KC slides, they are not counted in the Quiz system variables). You will need to recreate the KC questions from scratch, not the normal questions.

  I currently use CP7 and have created a quiz.  Once the user finishes the last question of the next slide give them the chance to return to the last slide in learning (so they can navigate further if they wish), or continue.  There are some other javascript on the slides so features like the ability to email your comments about the course or other... (it's an unimportant detail).

  Normally this button continue, like most buttons on question slides, as essential functions: when you click the actions that you specify in the pass/fail test settings will run, and the quiz is considered to be complete. I certainly wouldn't recommend out this button. If you don't have a default score slide, the actions will be performed after the last slide in the question, but say you that you have a slide of score. Create at least a custom partition slide, if you do not want to have this button continue. You mention JS, that is not at all an unimportant detail. If you want to replace the built in functionality of the slide to score in this way, it is OK for me, but do not use this slide to score in this case.
