  How can I find my model number or product number?

  I understand that you had a problem with the touchpad for months because it is not responding. Although the driver is listed in programs and features in the Device Manager is not listed.

  Have you checked for virus and malware?

  Have you done all Windows updates?

  Have you tried to run the troubleshooter in Windows?

  Did you run HP Support Assistant to facilitate updates of HP?

  First you would try this step.  Some models, you can enable or disable the touchpad by double clicking on the top left corner of the touch pad.  Please see if it is applicable for you.

  Then in Device Manager, view hidden devices and search the hardware changes see if the touchpad now will be seen.

  I had this WD element external hard drive for over a year now, which can connect to any PC or Apple, but for some reason that I myself brought recently the MacBook Pro and now my external hard drive WD Element only want work

  You can try to perform a SMC reset. Reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac - Apple Support. (The previous sentence is a clickable link)

  Drives external WD hard seem to get more complaints than any other player. They use a chipset of decorum and cheap components and seem to be more prone to error than the other speakers. If the gives still drive troubles you, you pourriez be able to remove the drive from its case and put it in another forum. I like the housings of OWC . I say maybe because I've seen also some WD external drives that do not use the standard SATA drives.

  Wow... These are really old.  If you can't find them on the internet, so if you have access to the OCC, you can download it from there.  They still have the drivers supported 95 and NT.

  Definitely looks like a problem with the network device. Check with sound
  Support, their books online, the drivers and ask in their forums (if any)
  on known problems. If there is a control of the device shipped with the system
  Manufacturer (manufacturer of motherboard for customized systems). If a device check separated
  with the support of its creator and other resources.

  You could also remove or disable the device and try a new add-on as one
  new card or device USD. None of those who are dear.

  Without doubt, the drive is formatted in NTFS. If so, you should not use 3rd party software to access the drive or you will have to reformat the drive Mac OS extended (journaled). If you still want to use with Windows software, you will need to format in FAT or EXFAT. Copy the files to a different location before reformatting.

• I have trouble getting my default printer driver settings to stay as my default.

  Is it possible to lock the current drivers as default without having to select a preset every time?  Also I have problems when printing from Adobe software, it seems to use a radio button this conversion "uses JPEG2000 maximum available resolution.  It has made my life miserable with print time 45 minutes.  Is there a way to disable this feature?

  Yes it is. Used by OS X printing system is called CUPS and through its page web, you can set default values for the driver.

  First step is to open the Terminal (located in Applications > utilities). Then, copy the following line of text and paste it into the Terminal and then press enter

  cupsctl Web interface = yes

  This will display the web page of CUPS.

  Next step is to open Safari and enter the following information as URL

  I am installing an SSD on a Mac book pro 2011. I had been using the separate (Samsung ssd 830 256 GB) ssd (OS not installed) drive on my computer windows yet. I have created an El Capitan installation on a USB drive, swapped the hard drive on SSDS. I open at startup disk utility, erased the drive samsung with format: extended OSX journaled.

  Then returned to install El Capitan, but the Samsung SSD is grayed out and when I click it, it says "this disc is not use the GUID partition table scheme." Use disk utility to change the partition scheme. Select the drive, click the partition tab, select the volume configuration and then click options"

  However when I return to the disk utility, then select Samsung SSD, the partition tab is grayed out and cannot be selected.

  I don't know how to proceed. I would greatly appreciate any help

  You might also consider adding more RAM. 2 places I've seen recommended more to buy reliable RAM are below. I have bought RAM several times to other World Computing and have always been very satisfied with the product and the service. They have instructions online on how to replace the RAM. OWC has also tested the RAM above what Apple says, it is the maximum. Now, I have 6 GB installed on an iMac 2008 so-called beginning limited to 4 GB and noticed an improvement.
