Driver TS-H552L in my HP Compaq SR1720NX has stopped working

I bought a new or renovated possible Office count HP Compaq Presario SR1720NX to MICRO CENTER and

all of a sudden the DVD and USB ports do not work?  I checked the problem and this is the driver. It's a TS-H552L

and listed in my currency manager as TSST Corp/CD/DVGW TS-H552L I tried using the Repair Wizard and it remains the same?

I tried to update and it comes back because it's the best driver for this computer? Yes, it may be, but is not read the

Flash drives or jumpdrive that I insert in the 5 different USB ports? Intelligent ports for memory stick ect... Also will not work.

If a CD or DVD is inserted it will not show. IWAS told that I need to uninstall the driver and reinstall it. It's OK, but I can't find this driver anywhere? I tried DRIVER MAX and nothing, I tried 4 other pilot services and the same problem, they all say

    I would start by removing the current driver and installing the latest driver available.  (yours is 5 years old)

    "It is not a true crash, in the sense that the blue screen was launched only because the combination of material and video driver video was to be insensitive and not because of any exception processing synchronous".

    Since Vista, the components of "Timeout detection and recovery" (TDR) of the subsystem video OS have been able to do some really impressive things to try to find issues that would have led to the earlier OS like XP to crash.

    As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends a video driver command "Please restart you now!" and wait a few seconds.
    If there is no answer, the BONE concludes that the combo of driver/hardware video has really collapsed in a heap, and it fires at this stop 0 x 116 BSOD.

    If playing with video driver versions did not help, make sure that the box is not overheated.
    Try to remove a side panel and a fan of big sector directly to the motherboard and GPU.
    Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to check whether the cooler temperatures make a difference.

    If so, it could be as simple as dust accumulation and inadequate cooling afterwards.

    This is not an answer to your question but can solve the problem if it is the same that I had.
    In my case, the drive tries to spin but it slips. Only the motor shaft rotates and the drive remains at low revolutions that were not even stationary.
    The problem was caused by the fact that the plastic part (black color) of the mechanism which engages the disc (CD or DVD) slips on the
    motor drive, axle and th couldn't do a full rotation or runs at the specified speed.
    The solution is to delete the article in plastic and put a small amount of super glue on the axle and then put it back.

    Where there is a similar issue, I hope that solve you it like I did.

    I tried the feature "Add a printer" windows default in Control Panel, and my printer is finally functional - only when used wireless. However, if I connect the USB cable from my printer, it will be recognized as a different printer and always unsuccessfully installed the drivers for it.

    I think that your problem is related to overheating rather than a defective display driver. The idea here is that it takes several attempts to reboot, giving the unit time to cool.
    I suggest that you try to remove all dust and debris from your radiator and see if it improves the stability of your units.
