  I just did a clean install of Windows 7 on my HP Pavilion dv6. In the BIOS it says it's an a1u58av. (dv6t 6 c 00?)

  All those I work except for the Wifi drivers. I downloaded the ralink those, and they do not seem to work. I get the windows error message that they do not seem to be installed correctly. After several attempts, research on Google and it recharges, I still can't connect to wifi, or even find task bar icon in my status bar. Realtek LAN drivers work for the ethernet, and this is what I currently use.

  I saw your post about the updated for your AMD Radeon graphics card drivers. Your model contains graphs switchable, reason why the AMD driver did not work. With graphics switchable AMD provides the base driver and HP configures the driver from there. Unfortunately, there are no updated drivers available.

  I have hp pavilion dv6-6c65sx A7P80EA #A2N. I tried to format my c drive and changed my current drive since then I can't recovery my laptop. other drive partitions are fine and I have preload file with 17.6 GB size and I don't know how to restore it. I tried to do the bios recovery, but there is an error with the recovery cannot restore path...

  Also, I lost my recovery tools after I formatted my C drive.

  Please mark the 'Active' HP Recovery partition by selecting "Mark Partition as Active" using the Windows Disk Management Console. See HP - partitioning and names of hard drives (Windows 7) for more information on using the Windows Disk Management Console.

  If the instructions above did not work, and that you create your HP recovery media when you first set up your computer, please contact the official support of HP in your region / country, via the HP portal to support all over the world, to see if the HP recovery support is available for your computer.

  Alternatively, if you can still read the Windows product key of 25 characters on the COA Microsoft attached to your computer, you can install Windows 7 Home Premium using this key.
