• HP keyboard mapping inorrect freshly installed Windows 7 / XP on HP Pavilion 500-202eo

Hello

After you have installed Windows 7 Ultimate on HP Pavilion 500 - 202eo, I noticed that the HP keyboard connected is incorrectly mapped. I had exact same questions with the mapping of the keyboard with new operating system installs on oher systems as well, but couldn't really find a solution for this. In fact, certain symbols appear to move; While normally, where usually I had to press Alt Gr + 2 I got the sign @, I must now press shift. The? + button now product - character, while pressing on - product button /, <>product button------etc. I tried to put the keyboard in 'Norwegian', which is the layout of my keyboard, but nothing helped. It seems that I must be missing some type of a pilot or a patch, which is present on each preinstalled system that I own, but somehow is missing on installed fresh, even if there are no conflicts in Device Manager. I have the same problem on the XP installation. Any suggestions?

Hello again once, I managed to solve this problem by specifying the correct keyboard language in Control Panel. I didn't need drivers after all.

• Install Windows 8 on pc Hp pavilion dv6 - 6113 cl/entertainment

HY I thought that it can install Windows 8 in my unit, I ask this question because there is no windows 8 are available for my device driver so please give me some advice about this...? :)

It is NEVER a good idea to install an operating system for which there is no specific driver of the OS.

You can run the Windows 8 Upgrade Advisor, see here...

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/upgrade-to-Windows-8

BUT while he will probably tell you that it works, does that tell you, this is HOW it will work. Video drivers are especially a problem because it is through the screen you determine how everything works. If the screen is not running as well as it did under Windows 7 because the only available driver for Windows 8 is basic, you will be disappointed by Windows 8...

Windows 7 is a great operating system stable, for which your machine is fully supported. You would do well to stick with it.

• Does anyone has installed Windows 7 on a laptop Pavilion DV2175

If anyone has installed Windows 7 on a laptop Pavilion DV2175 and if so it is 32 or 64 bit

Hello:

There is an unofficial update guide to windows 7 for the series dv2000.

http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-operating-systems-and-software/Windows-7-upgrade-guide-for-DV2000-models/m-p/186936#M28141

Given that the maximum amount of memory, that you can install on your laptop is only 2 GB, I'd go with W7 32 bit, as a 64 bit OS requires more memory and disk space to run a 32 bit OS only.

Not double, but more.

• I need help, find how to install Windows Vista on a HP Pavilion 6475z disk.

I need help, find how to install Windows Vista on a HP Pavilion 6475z disk. I had to replace the hard drive, so he has nothing about it and I added more ram, but I replace the cd player so it is not yet installed on the HP. So I was wondering if I could put the installation disc in my laptop cd/dvd and connect computers by usb ports and install it this way and if not how can I?

Thank you

Hello

You are welcome

If the CD/DVD drive in the works of PC Gateway, you can (at least temporarily) remove it and install it in the HP, you can run your recovery disc and reinstall Vista. Once everything is running on the HP, you can always remove the CD/DVD drive and reinstall it in the gateway PC if you wish.

• HP Pavilion dv6 a1u58av: drivers Hp Pavilion dv6 a1u58av Can not find good Wifi

Hey! I seem to have a problem.

I just did a clean install of Windows 7 on my HP Pavilion dv6. In the BIOS it says it's an a1u58av. (dv6t 6 c 00?)

I used this page to get all of my drivers:

http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-DV6-entertainment-notebook-PC-series/521...

All those I work except for the Wifi drivers. I downloaded the ralink those, and they do not seem to work. I get the windows error message that they do not seem to be installed correctly. After several attempts, research on Google and it recharges, I still can't connect to wifi, or even find task bar icon in my status bar. Realtek LAN drivers work for the ethernet, and this is what I currently use.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

• I could install windows 8 on my computer hp Dv6-6070ee laptop

I could install windows 8 on my computer hp Dv6-6070ee laptop

Windows 8 is compatible for all the things in my computer hp Dv6-6070ee laptop

Hello

Thanks for posting again.

I will now give you instructions how you can test whether Windows 8 will work for you.

Before we begin, I want to say again that

• Material to your computer allows you to install and run Windows 8.
• However, I could not find drivers for your machine to Windows 8 and your model was not officially tested with Win 8HP.
• Personally, I do not guarantee 100% compatibility with absolutely everything and everything works perfectly.
• So it is for you to test it or not.
• The procedure takes time.

Before you begin:

1. You must create a recovery HP (disks or USB) media - this can be used in case you want to recover your computer to factory default - instructions can be found here
2. Very important - using Windows 7 built-in options and go to control panel-> system and security control, click on save to your computer. It opens his backup center and restoration. You will need a disk (CD/DVD) and do a Windows recovery disk. It can be used in the case where you have to reimage the machine and return to Windows 7. Instructions here.
3. Yet once in the backup and Restore Center-> create a system image - this will make a copy of all your hard drive right now. This will help you restore in Windows 7 and the State of the machine (if Windows 8 does not work for you). Instructions on this subject can be found here. I recommend that you create this image on an external hard drive.
4. Back up your most important files by using the Windows backup utilitity - instructions can be found here. Place them on an external hard drive.

Once you are ready with the above steps, and if they have successfully completed, you are fully backed up and you can continue with the experience/test.

Download the Advisor of Windows 8 upgrade from here and run it.

It will scan your computer and if it is compatible and what needs to be changed before you move to Windows 8.

Follow his instructions to fix what may need to be corrected. This could take some time.

At this point, don't buy Windows 8.

Check these instructions from HP on the upgrade to Windows 8 - Note that not all written inside is related to your case, but you can read to get an idea. Read the paths of upgrade of Windows 8 here.

After that depending on your edition of Windows 7 current and according to your preferences, you must do a clean install of Windows 8 or to do an upgrade.

You can download the free 90-day Windows 8 Enterprise Edition on Microsoft TechNet evalutional version - link.

You will need to register using the Microsoft account - it will provide you with a license key and a downloadable ISO image of Windows 8 Enterprise. On your own drive you should burn this ISO (double-click it) to make the installation of Windows 8 disc.

When the installation disc is ready, use to make clean install Windows 8 or update install. Look at all the instuctions I provided. After installation of Windows 8 upgrade, or own, you should try to run Windows Update to ensure that it is up-to-date. If a specific driver is required, you can try to install the Windows 7 version - download it from here. You can restore your personal files from Windows 7 upwards you created earlier.

Experiment. If this works fine, you can later restore to Windows 7 image, then buy a proper version of Windows 8 and perform the upgrade on the spot or other clean install.

If this does not work and you decide to go back to Windows 7, boot from the Windows system recovery disk (created before - look above at step 2) and use the option of image recovery system to reimage the machine and return to the State of Windows 7.

Instructions on this subject can be found here and here

Good luck and happy testing!

• Fresh Install Windows 7 x 64 IE 9 Flash Player Crash

Hello all,.

I'm working on a major imaging project for my organization. I am about to create a new image for some of our machines, while I was preparing reference computers. I noticed that when the flash drive is enabled in IE 9 it blocks the browser. I get the error "Internet Explorer has stopped working". I can click the button close program, IE will try to revive the same page and I get the error once again with a bar on devices of the window indicating "a problem with this webpage caused Internet Explorer close and reopen the tab". After a few rounds of this, I get the "Internet Explorer has stopped trying to restore this Web site." It's product on two different machines, I was preping.

Here are the details of what I did for these machines: (E6420 Dell and Dell E6320)

1 installed Windows 7 x 64 installation media (obscured the disk in order to install fees)

2 installed MS 11.0.6200.754

3. installation off Dell, all pilots fees website.

4. installation of Office 2010.

5 ran and updated TO MICROSOFT update, SP1 and IE 9 included.

6 went to Adobe.com and installed the last Acrobat, Flash and Shockwave Player of links on the home page.

7. restarted and now whenever I go to any page containing Flash objects I get the above error.

Here is the version:

Windows 7 x 64 SP1

THAT IS TO SAY 9.0.8112.16421

Shockwave Flash Object (enabled in Manage Add-ons) 10.2.159.1

As said they are two machines brand new, two fresh charges two lots of cool software from the web and two machines with unacceptable problems when Flash is installed. What is happening here?

Thanks a lot for your time!

It turns out that this accident was video related. The system in question had the Intel HD Graphics Family and NVIDIA NVS 4200 M adapters available. After update Intel drivers from 8.15.10.2270 to 8.15.10.2347 (as dated 28/03/2011) accidents keep occurring.

• Installed Windows & 32 Bit drivers and USB ports don't DO NOT WORK.

I bugh a laptop HP Pavillion 14 TS who came to preinstall Windows 8.1 64-bit I hate so wiped the drives and installed Windows 7 32 bit and now I have a big problem. None of my network drivers work and 2 uSB ports where I plug in my mouse and other devices of SB to do more work.

I did a back up of the established SW leader who has all the HP dvers for my laptop but will not install the network and video of divers. And when I try to install the drives, I get the error message saying that they are not compatible with this version of Windows.

I loked on the HP site under my model of laptop that s as above, but HP don't do my notebook drivers for Windows 7 32. And I looked on both the Realteck site for network wireless Realteck and Ethernet Realteck drivers but none of them work or install on my OS. Intel video drivers do not work either. So I'm really stuck one I can not return to 8.1 Windows as if that 32-bit Windows 7 works on my laptop but most of my drivers is not compatible with the operating system and I don't want not to install 64-bit Windows, I like 32-bit.

Drivers that do not work on Windows 7 32-bit are:

Realteck RTL8188EE 802 - 11 b/gn witeless lan

Die Ethernet Realteck and

Intel High definition graphics driver

That don't work at all under Windows 7 32 bit because they are the only 64-bit drivers.

So can you please post me a link network bth and drvers of graphics from Intel that works with my laptop. I tried many different drivers Realteck and raphics for Windows 7, but none of them DOES not work on my system. And none of my USB ports are no longer works. So, how can I fix this?

Hello:

Should be no problem to get W7 32 bit to work on this model.

Just use all the drivers and software from the HP Probook 450 G0 on your model, except the Audio, BIOS and firmware files.

Your model uses only the Intel HD graphics driver.

The first pilot, you need to install the Intel chipset installation utility and reboot.

http://h20565.www2.HP.com/portal/site/hpsc/public/PSI/swdHome/?cc=us&lang=en&sp4ts.Oid=5359407&AC.admitted=1408825729704.876444892.492883150

Audio: Accept the agreement. Download and install the driver first on the list.

If for some reason, this model Intel HD graphics driver does not work, use this one...

• Re-installed Windows 7; No drivers.

Hello.

I bought a dell xps 13 today and used the cd to re - install windows 7. |
Unfortunately it removed all my drivers.
I have read some of the threads and discovered that I should install them again one by one and in a certain order, but I don't know how I should do that given my ultrabook cannot connect to the internet, is not a cd player (I used an external, I cannot now use because the USB does not work).

Help is appreciated.

You will need to download them from another computer, then transfer them to the XPS on USB (USB 3.0 ports (blue/red) may not work, but the others should), then run/install the. Install drivers from the Chipset first, then other devices (video, audio, network, etc.).
