Webcam does not appear in Device Manager
I have a model of portable pavilion G62-233NR windows 7 64-bit, with a built-in webcam. YouC'm software was bundled with it and worked. Now the webcam is not found by one of the video programs AE Skype, Youcam... etc...
I also noticed that the webcam does not appear in Device Manager. I tell me that I have to reinstall a driver for it but do not know what driver to install. HP has the following availble drivers for my model but which? If one of the pilots was labeled "webcam", the task would be easy. I hope because the driver is missing in Device Manager that has installed a driver will set missing cam... I'm worried because I don't see a driver named "webcam" in the list... but what else could the problem, how can I get the driver installed, if that's the problem.

Tecra 9100: sound card is not listed in Device Manager
Hello
I have a toshiba laptop 9100 that does not show me the sound card in Device Manager.I recently changed the laptop bobdy and uses a disk hard work that work very well with my old laptop which also has the same model and the sound used to work properly with this one. but since I changed my laptop, the sound just does not.
I also tried to install all the latest drivers that I am running windows xp sp2, and there are drivers available who have a difficulty for this os. But when I try and install the drivers it always ends with a message warning "drivers are not installed.
I tried to see if there is another way in which I can configure my sound, but it simply doesn't.
Help, please!

Hello peppy
If the sound card is not listed in Device Manager, the explanation is very simple. The card its doesn't exist for the operating system. Either card defective or not connected properly.
Contact the Service partner and let check the device. Sorry, but in this case I put t see another solution.

Satellite A300 PSAG4A: Webcam not detected in Device Manager
I have a Toshiba Satellite A300 PSAG4A 02L00M with Vista Home Premium 64-bit.
The webcam is not working and it is not detected in Device Manager.
When I install the Chicony camera drivers, I get the "Webcam driver open fail. Error message. The fact that I can't see the Webcam in Device Manager tells me that there may be a hardware failure.
However, I hope that this is a setting that I can fix myself.I had restored the laptop to factory also and I've updated the bios.
I tried to uninstall all the USB controllers and reboot the PC.Is there something I can do?
It's maybe a software problem?
There may be a setting?Best way to test the operation of the equipment is to check with the factory settings installation operating system with the Toshiba recovery image. As I see that you have done this already.
So if cam still doesn't work properly, I fear that there is a problem with the hardware.
It cannot be matter of software because the recovery image contains the driver for the cam. -

CD/dvd drive is not listed in Device Manager
my laptop is a hp pavillion entertainment pc dv6605us, running windows vista. the cd/dvd drive is not read / write any CD and it is not listed in Device Manager. I tried to fix this problem by using the microsoft fixit tool, but I'm still having the same problem. I checked the system registry and found no upperfilters and lowerfilters.
Please, how can I solve this problem?Hello
Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as it is often the total process
which solves the problem.Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.
Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.Your CD or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs

Hello
Sounds like hardware and you cannot resolve hardware with the software. Check with the system
Manufacturer of support, their books online, the diagnosis and ask in their forums (if
There are). Or check with a real computer store (one who does on its own in-store service

Tecra M9: WLan not working not - not displayed in Device Manager
I've updated the Bios with the latest version, I turned on the switch on the front of the laptop wireless. I also tried FN + F8 but still no joy.
I have reset the default settings of the BIOS without change. The wireless light flashes when the computer begins to start, but after that, it turns off.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Hello
You said that the WLan card is not listed in Device Manager?
Did you check that exactly?Usually the WLan card must appear in Manager devices-> network adapters.
You don't see any yellow exclamation? But to be honest, this story sounds really amazing.
Have you used the good BIOS? On the Toshiba European driver page are 2 different Tecra M9 series listed and these two different series supports different versions of the BIOS!
And the wrong version of BIOS that may affect the functionality of laptops!I have your comments would be appreciated

If so, the only thing you can try is to restore the factory deafult your OS (reinstall) and check to see if the network cards.
If this is not the case, there is probably a hardware problem.

my computer does not recognize the Device Manager cd/dvd/rom drive says corrupted or missing code 39
Try following the steps under "Windows 7 or Windows Vista" in the MS KB article:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/982116
These measures, to remove the UpperFilters and LowerFilters, values if they exist, in the registry key named can help.
Create a System Restore Point beforehand and restart the computer later.

I'm having serious problems here. My CD/DVD-ROM drive is not detected and will not answer. I can ONLY open the drawer at the beginning of my computer laptop startup. The drive does not appear in my computer and the category of CD/DVD-ROM does not appear in Device Manager. Therefore, the "uninstall/reinstall" is impossible if the computer behaves as it has never been this drive now or never. Previously, I was able to use it as there was no problem, but someday, it's simply not there.
