• Trying to install the CS4 update but old software not in the drop-down list

  CS4 was installed on my XP machine in 2010 - and I remember having to call support because the previous version, I had (Studio 8) was not part of the drop-down list where you select your old version.

  Now my XP computer is about to be deleted and I tried to re - install CS4 on my Win7 machine. Once again - same problem.

  I have a Studio 8 serial number... and Studio MX too. But neither in the drop-down list.

  I run a business and I want to upgrade 1 license Adobe Muse to 1 CC of Adobe License (without Adobe Stock). Note that I do not need a solution 'team', I only need 1 person to be able to use the software. Obviously that the license allows me to use the software commercially.

  What is the difference between the first and the second element?

  Hello to you all, guru out there. I'm new on Adobe LiveCycle, but I have some experience coding in other languages, but not of JavaScript and XML. Trying to get a user to select a client and then based on this selection, I want to return several address fields, a Contact name at the customer's location and a phone number. The data connection is an ODBC connection to our CRM software, and information are stored in a table. The user of the form will be our Service technicians, and the rest of the form will be a place to type notes about the service call. We just try to facilitate the choice of the customer for our Service technicians to rather than having to type all the information. I've searched the forums and the solutions that I keep coming across are values defined by the user in the drop-down list, I have not found an example that illustrates this with a data connection. I work from a return address field to a text field (using the command .rawValue), but I need to fill in some more information. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

  THW way I did is to use two data connections. 1st one to fill the DDlist with a list of customers. In this one, I use simple bind to do the job. Then a 2nd connection that will extract the folder of figurines based on the selection of the DDlist. This requires the code a SQL DB to retrieve the appropriate record. To implement this data connection, I can use the provided column headers to bind columns in the fields in my form. Then when this data connection is open (I put to delayed opening) and it returns the file in question are bound fields get automagically populated!

  I've included a sample I created... .you won't have the Pb, but you can at least see what I did. The code is on the change event of the DDlist

• Fill other fields based on a drop-down list box

  Hello

  I am completely new to LiveCycle and just starting to teach me how to use it.

  I want to speed up the filling of a purchase order by bringing them to fill based essentially on what is put in other areas.

  For example, I would like to than our usual suppliers to be included in a drop of water to the bottom of the box (I know not how, at least) and then have the address fields automatically filled.

  I know that I can do this using javascript, but it is rather annoying because I don't want to sit here put 276 suppliers in my script. In addition, I don't want to have to edit the script whenever we want to add a new provider.

  Is it possible to create a form that made it and can pull info on another file or database? Also, I would make it pretty fool-proof when it comes to adding new suppliers.

  The way to proceed is to hang on to the top of the drop-down list for a service web and that the web service returns a list of providers (in load of the form). Once the user selects a supplier a second web service would draw information and fill in the appropriate fields.  This technique is easier to configure on the client machines (as all the information is contained in the form). You will need to get another piece of software called LiveCycle Reader Extensions Server to allow the form make calls from web service of the player (assuming that the reader is used).

  The form can connect to a database directly, but this solution has drawbacks as well. You need to configure a dataconnection on each machine as the machine must be on the same network as the DB. It will work on Windows machines. You also punctuated by player to allow DB with Reader connections.

  Many issues of the site can be caused by corrupted cookies or cache.

  • Clear the Cache

  Press < Alt > or < F10 > to display the toolbar. Then;
  Tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: clear now

  and

  • Delete Cookies

  Press < Alt > or < F10 > to display the toolbar. Then Tools > Options > privacy.

  Under historical, select Firefox will use the custom settings.
  There is a button on the right side, called View the Cookies.

  If there is still a problem,
  Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
  While you are in safe mode;
  Press the < Alt > or < F10 > key to bring up the toolbar... Then
  Tools > Options > advanced > general.
  Find and stop using hardware acceleration.

  Dig safe web sites and see if there is still a problem. Then restart

• How can I sort alphabetically in the drop-down list in the Tools menu of Firefox?

  The Tools menu has a drop-down list, but the entries are not in alphabetical order. Options and a few individual add-ons/extensions appear in the list, but not in alphabetical order. It would be useful to them in alphabetical order in the list, however, I can't find any option to sort. Did I miss a hidden, built-in option for sorting? Is there an add-on may be providing a way to sort? Someone has an idea? I have not found anything this either in my research on the subject... just what is the sorting of bookmarks. But it's the combo of Tools menu I want to be able to twist. Anyone?

  There is no built-in opportunities to change the menus of the application. The easiest way to do this is by using the editor from Menu Add-on.

  Hi all, I have a problem using Mail v9.3 with OS X El Capitan v10.11.5 because it is not display the drop-down list of signatures in the new email or reply/forward an email windows.

  Please take these steps to remove the mail folders 'sandbox '.

  Step 1

  Back up all data.

  Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select this option:

  ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail

  Right-click or Ctrl-click on the highlighted line and select

  Services ▹ Reveal

  the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open up with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If this is the case, move the selected folder - not only its content - on the desktop. Open the window Finder for now.

  My Bank has updated its interface (more dynamic, possibly using Ajax), and Firefox is unable to view my account information. Safari and my PC can.

  It could be that one of your modules interfere. You can try to troubleshoot and to understand that we could be. Instructions for this are here - Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems

• Where is the next pages drop-down list?

  Next to the buttons to navigate forward or backward between pages viewed, it used to be that a menu drop-down list but this disappeared.

  This means that if I want to go back to a site I visited five pages ago I must now press the back button five times.

• Modification of the properties-type def drop-down list box

  I have a group of 32 cases of a def type. The def type contains several different types of control. What I have to do is to change the properties of the list box for each of the type defs. Normally, I would create an array of references to change the properties for each of the type defs, but when I try this I can not access the properties of string [] for combo box selections. The only way I found to fix it is to create a reference for each individual drop-down list box item. It is labour, since I'll have 32 elements. Is there a way to beeter to do this? The first screenshot shows the issui I'll have, not being able to change the properties of specific elements within each of the def type at runtime through a control [] array. The second screenshot shows the only solution I've found so far, which is not very practical.

  You will need to set up (for a more specific class) control to a type of combo box for the particular control [] index that has the combobox control if you want to access the drop-down list.

  You can also access the combobox in a cluster based directly, rigth click on the control reference and a link to the element cluster directly.

  The last option is to make the strictt of typdef will fill all instances with the channel list [] given that it is a strict property.

  the approach is based on the weather, you plan on changing the list during execution.
