  Hi Matthias, debugging is to engineer end only, it has no practical use.

  Also, if you are unable to go to the debug console, it is unsupported.

  I don't know how you can have a loop spanning trees like the tree covering weight stops redundant links. So I think that you are either using BPMH and incorrectly labeled regions or added a vlan incorrect or these switches connect in a device that is not active PLEASE and causing the transfer of issues like that.

  Quite honestly if you have a loop of network which is so bad, the best thing to do is to unplug the 1 wire at a time until you see what link has caused.

  I seem to have issues using a Chromecast on my LAPAC1200 access point. Previously, I was using a wifi router D - Link DIR-855, and everything worked well. I upgraded my installation to a LAPAC1200 and a wired router only. In general, Chromecast works correctly to lighting, but after 10 or two minutes, it seems to become inactive on the network and invisible for compatible devices Chromecast (Android tablet or phone)

  I'm running the 1.0.08.000 latest firmware on the access point. UPnP is enabled on my router, and the LAPAC1200 and Chromecast have static DHCP leases.

  Specifically, these are the symptoms...

  Scenario 1: Plug Chromecast (lights and connects to the Wifi, no problem). Chromecast icon appears on the tablet. Connect to the Chromecast and start a video. After 10 to 15 minutes, I check the Tablet, and it has disconnected. Chromecast icon does not appear again.

  Scenario 2: Chromecast grip. Launch Chromecast Android app and you connect to it to check the settings. Wait 15 minutes. Launch app again and Chromecast does not appear on the network.

  Are there settings on the LAPAC1200 I should change?

  Kudo on debugging.  You cannot use! IRP on an object of a TRIAGE ARG.  There are flags to force it, but you're probably just better run check since it is a PNP driver.  I also updated the below old drivers

  For awhile, I have problems with my system tray. Something regularly resets my customization, i.e. after reboot, sometimes all of the icons that I've marked to show always are hidden again. I discovered that the reason is something clears HCU\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify.

  I decided to find out what's responsible. I turned on the policy of auidt for objects, then I check for HCU\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify installation. The next time that the customization of icons has been reset I found that HCU\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify was allowed again and in addition to this, auditing settings disappeared! So I thought that maybe something just removed the whole key in total with the path audit settings.

  My next attempt was to check on HCU\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software and just let Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify inherit. The next time that the customization of icons has been reset I found that HCU\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify was allowed again and in addition to this, auditing settings disappeared again! Something removed all Settings\Software HCU\Software\Classes\Local?

  The event log pointed to one of the svchost.exe process, which is simply a container for the heap of different services.

  No idea how to find out which service is responsible?

  I have an application of simulation of machine quite complex state that I add a 'mode' feature for. Some States in the application, rather than the blocks by default of running code, a VI a VI class for each mode will be instead (for example for modes A and B, initialization status has now Initialization_modeA and Inilitalization_modeB). This results in many cases structures everywhere, and I can't figure out how to ensure that, when adding a new mode, I have add the case of this mode of each switch case. Is it as simple as having a default case with a pop-up box? Or is it possible OOP I can handle this?

  Go right on what you told us, you could have each mode inherited from a common ancestor that defines a set of common States (or methods in this case). Whenever you want to add a new method, you can create a new class and override simply each method with this specific class has to do. Instead of having a State of init for each mode, you only then a common State of init, which would then distribute the code correct init based on what class you are using.

• How can I track down through the serial number of my laptop my Windows license.

  The label containing the serial number on my laptop is fuzzy, and the info available only i've got who can identify this is my Windows Vista license number (which is another label that is still readable). I need my computer S/N in order to request a quote on a power adapter for it. I can't start my computer because the AC adapter cord / CC seems to be broken.

  But back to the question: is there a way to find information on my Windows license, which can be linked to serial number of my laptop?

  Contact the manufacturer of your computer and have them shoot to the top of the order for your PC and they should be able to pull the top of your serial number {I could do with my Dell} - (if you bought through them - maybe it's not possible if you bought the computer at a point of sale where the serial number is not saved unless you have submitted a registration form for) the manufacturer and then it depends on the manufacturer or not they keep this information available and are ready to reveal it to you).  But other than what Malke suggested, it's the only way I know to get the serial number if it rubs off the laptop.

  I'm having a hard time to believe that they need a serial number and cannot identify a compatible adapter of just the name, brand and model (and number).  I'm sure there are other suppliers who can meet your needs without that level of detail.
