Drops AP541N customers

Hello

Our group two AP541N sometimes begin to disconnect customers randomly. I use the 2.0.4 firmware I already read that in some other threads in this forum that it happened to other people as well, but there is no final solution said it (at least none that helped in my problem so far).

I heard that the deactivation of the key renewal can help and I'm the test right now. I use as a Wifi WPA2/AES encryption method. You have any other suggestions I can try?

See you soon

Dear Scott,

Thank you to the small community of Support Business.

The first thing that I would suggest is to start managing the channels under the "menu, Cluster and if already started then stop, restart the access point and turn it back on with the default settings."

FYI: Automatic assignment of channels reduces the mutual interference (or to hinder other points of access outside its cluster) and optimizes bandwidth WiFi to help maintain the effectiveness of communications on the wireless network.

Then the automatic assignment of the channels is turned on, the Channel Manager periodically maps channels radio used by the points of access cluster and, if necessary, Reallocates strings on the access points in cluster to reduce interference with the cluster members or other points of access outside the cluster.

The proposed channel assignment will take effect if the Channel field on the wireless Radio page is set to auto. The string must be set to a static string.

Please try this and I'll be looking forward to hear from you.

Kind regards

  • A network error has occurred

I just bought the player yesterday. I set up the wireless & it tells me it's connected & no problem. I check by connecting to Netflix, Amazon or pais services like that & I get a network error.

This is completely new to me & I followed all the instructions but it won't work. Help please.

Welcome to Sony *. Sony devices apparently run through a server from Sony before Netflicks, Amazon, Hulu, etc. Sony broadcast network has been down for the past few days, apparently not recognizing devices - and try to re-register the. I think that the problem has been resolved that I just got back my network. Of course Sony send customers who have this problem, in limbo lost to check if the problem is with the supplier of Monster/Abonimable snowman connections/Internet/Netflicks/Amazon/Hulu/Vudu/tasks solar/stephanie snow/Men in Black/rays of Venus/aliens/predators/Godzilla/Pacific Rim Kaiju/Dragons of the game of the thrones/earthquakes/Sunamis/Rod Serling... almost nothing to put the customer in a gray area of a tail spin to avoid ANY entry of Sony of respondsibility. In other words, don't believe the opposite of what they say as a shortcut to the truth. , They try to avoid any confusion by dropping registered customers of Sony an E-mail to prevent problems of network... ahhhh NO! I think they like just laugh at how long they can keep their customers spinning in ignorant oblivion. Of course, they know what is the problem. It's at the end of a set of encyclopedia of interference of an apology for blaming an another manufacturer/service providers. It is one that has 'SONY' written all over it. This is the first, last and 'Always' the cause of all our problems with Sony products. You just have to do a 'small' unnecessary work to finally get there. Rumor has it that even some have clearly as far in their endless quest to Mordor. Life is a 'small' too brief, unless you want to Sony to the center of your universe. Renounce food, work, a love life, exercise, obsessed with the troubleshooting of your Sony product. Well, you're sure to lose a little weight. Only two rules in the world of Sony: Fix and repair daily, or found on the salesfloor dead!

Could you please put the table in the MySQL table definition is defined in the MySQL database and the way she is described using the database link (desc 'SUBSCRIBERS"@AAA1)
What happens when you comment the gateway init parameter:

    Thank you

Successfully tested the DG4ODBC 11.2.0.3 by the definition of a table in MySQL:
    drop table CUSTOMERS;
    create table CUSTOMERS (MSISDN char (8), numeric (28.0) IMSI2, ICC2 numeric (28.0), NTC numeric (28.0));
    insert into CUSTOMERS values (610-0850', 8950167090300132451, 702670161017765, NULL);

  • AP541N deletes all customers

As I posted at the other thread AP541N on performance degradation, mine did a strange client disconnect last week. It fell by customers all authenticated, but they all thought they were still connected. A quick turn of the wireless card on the laptop would reset the computer on the AP.

    It's the same even today.

    The device information and configuration:

    Device: AP541N

    H/W: V01

    S/W: 1.9.1

Wireless: Channel 11, the key refresh: 0, TKIP, WPA Personal

Displays all clients who authenticate earlier in the day.

Hours later, I get a rash of:

  • How can I check customers get updates from the caching Service?

I've just set up a server 10.11 with Server.app version 5.0.15 to act as a provisioning server caching to provide updates to the clients Mac (no iOS device).

I see that he has downloaded updates the Stats section when I chose bytes served in the drop down menu.

I want to check that it works and that clients receive the updates of this sever when at the office.

I did a lot of research but have not found anything definitive. I've seen suggestions may be looking at the Library/Server/Caching/Logs/Debug.log, but nothing in it can tell me whether or not a customer received an update of the caching Service. It is suggested in the Server Essentials of PeachPit book looking at Activity Monitor to check the packet network and instrumental, but which shows that the server successfully contacted Apple and checked the IP address.

I need to know and to verify that this Service of caching works effectively by updates provided to customers on our network. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I just checked the server again and downloaded only 226 MB of data. I created this yesterday afternoon. Shouldn't be much more data?

  • upgrade to connected hp eprint - can't drag and drop apps to organize them the way I did before!

I upgraded to connected HP eprint today.  Now it wont let me not to the eprint site (and, Yes, I would not have gone back if something did not work to connected hp).

I could drag and drop placement of my apps to have as I would like on the touchscreen to eprint printer.   However, I can't do drag or drop whatever it is connected HP, and I see no help on the management of the investment of the apps on your printer.

How is that possible?  It was easy before - printer just drag-and - drop and website updated.  I have an officejet 7610.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for trying, but your answer is incorrect, according to an email I received today from HP connected:

"I have reviewed your email. I understand you have questions related to the reorganization of the order of apps on the printer. I know this can be frustrating, and I want you to know you are certainly valuable for us and I want to do everything possible to ensure your complete satisfaction. The following information should provide the answers you need:

    (1) Unfortunately when HP has launched the new website (www.hpconnected.com) they do not include a method to rearrange applications on the printer. They can include this feature in a future update, but as this time it is not available.

    (2) If you did upgrade to connected HP eprintcenter, you do have the option of return. EPrintCenter is being be eliminated and retune to the old site unfortunately is not possible. »

I hope that < < S-O-O-N > > HP fixed this new Web site - it's crazy take-out all controls like that from their customers and not embellish their or at least let them be.

  • Apple TV remote control glass broke when dropped

Recently, my husband bought our second Apple TV, an upgrade of the first edition, we have purchased four years ago. We are customers of long-time Apple and have always possessed several Apple products. We both like the updates to the new Apple TV with the exception of the remote control. There are a few things we don't like about the design. First, our remote fell of the couch on a ceramic tile floor and broken glass. Accidents happen, and I dare say that it is going to be a lot of unhappy customers when they abandon their distance and it crashes. I will say that if the remote was dropped on the carpet he probably have come out unscathed. The remote control fell to the back of the sofa at a height of about three feet. I think that the remote control must be able to survive a fall like that or maybe Apple could consider designing a case or neoprene as the channel to the remote control. The other complaints we have are things that we have learned to adapt to. Remote ginning glass is well issue and because Apple products are on the pricey side (I had to replace a laptop charge cord twice - $80 a pop - compliments of our puppy) we have not yet checked the cost of replacement.

Yes. It is a delicate user in my opinion not the real world tested. There are other posts on the topic, and I saw the new cases that occurred just as we have for our other handheld devices.  I think Siri remotes are also about $80...

I will also mention that the old Apple TV remotes work with the new ATV as well - except Siri.  In fact, I use remote money or my universal remote control harmony more than the included remote control of Siri (I can't find Siri on tvOS it useful - still).

  • Trek PR2000 DHCP problems, maintains a drop connections, perhaps workaround

    Hello!

A few days ago, I bought the new Netgear Trek PR2000 mobile wireless router. Goal was to have a point of contact for all my devices while traveling and be able to connect to a hotspot or wifi in the hotel.

Configuration has been fine and I was able to connect to my home network in wireless client mode. My router is a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND running OpenWrt 12.09 Attitude Adjustment, wifi with WPA2-AES, DHCP service.

The Trek has been able to connect, and the whole system was running. Unfortunately, I realized, that the Trek has kept falling connections every 3-5 minutes with the genius of Netgear annoying pop up and try to re-establish a connection. Sometimes it worked, then the Trek cannot connect at all.

Since I read that OpenWrt Attitude Adjustment can be problems with some wifi connections, I have improved my WR1043ND barrier breaker. The connection drops continued, including OSX almost every minute. The WR1043ND showed various DHCP-wifi-a failed-to-recognize-errors and in his diary.

After trying all possible setting changes in the Trek-config (and shortly before returning the Trek), I found something as a workaround. In the Trek-config, I disabled the DHCP Server for the LAN area and assigned static IP addresses to connecting clients. Well at least so far, it seems to work very well. No more connections, no more boring engineering arise not interrupted and try to reconnect, the system seems to work.

But for now, I'm a little confused as to the reason. In my view, the Trek connects to a hotspot and gets an IP address assigned by DHCP from hotspot. Then the Trek uses NAT to connect the clients attached to the internet. Actually the IP addresses of the DHCP assigned by the Trek to customers connected to the LAN area shouldn't affect hotspot NETWORK settings at all. Normally the IP address and private DNS settings are just for private clients LAN, aren't they? If I'm not completely wrong in my assumption, there could be a bug in the DHCP server on the hike or the way how dynamic the client LAN IPs are handled. From the point where I changed to static IP in the LAN client, there was no error message in the log of the WR1043ND.

Strange thing... Maybe someone could correct me if my assumptions are wrong? BTW, I use the stock PR2000 Trek firmware (which is something like 1.0.0.9) since there is no other is available.

    Thank you.

@hksteve I wish to inform you that the fix is now available from our download page.

Feel free to update your firmware and provide feedback.

    Thank you!

  • Why don't I do drag and drop photos in real size of more attachments in the new Windows Live Mail?

I am a real estate photographer, and one of the things I have to do on a regular basis is to send pictures to people. They need these photos as attachments. I downloaded the new Windows Live Mail and I noticed that I can't not simply 'Drag and Drop' photo attachments. Instead, Windows Live mail has resized the picture down and put a boarder around it. I went through the settings and I don't see anywhere I can click to the program, what he had ALWAYS done before, that was simple. Now to send a file, I have to click on the "Attachment" button, navigate my external drives and find the file that I send. I have hundreds of customers and too many files having to negotiate through. I prefer to be able to slide and have it set out in its full dimension, as I always did before in previous versions of WLM and Outlook Express.

I ALSO can not simply with the right button on a photo, select "send to" and then 'recipient' and attach files there either. Now, it uploads to the Skydrive. My customers don't want it. They do not want additional steps. They just want an email with attached files.

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I can't imagine that you got rid of those simpler features. Please don't tell me you didn't get rid of the simple ability to re size and attach pictures, did you?

  • Cluster AP541N of problems with the sticky homelessness and slow connections

I have a client with about 20 users with wireless and a cluster of 4 AP541N on their activities. They have an app that they get on a cloud that connects to a remote desktop in the same sense that Citrix. We have a problem of connectivity to the wireless network and also some speed issues. I went when they have problems and tracked down the AP where is the MAC machine and often it is not the closest access point to the user. Many times, it is an access point with 2 other AP in the same cluster between him and the client computer.

Concern for speed appears on different machines, not necessarily the same as those with sticky homelessness issue. Some of them have a wireless n card, but are only connect to g. I don't know if it's related to that, but I also have machines 100% or close to it, the signal strength and they dive into the region of 15Mbps. The LAN is fine, other wireless devices are fine, but these intermittent problems happen to some users. We have updated the firmware for the wireless card, and generally, this does not resolve the issue.

The cluster uses automatic management of channel and in order to cut down on the thorny issue of roaming my network engineer value emission high instead of full power to limit overlap.

Any suggestions about where to go next with troubleshooting? These users entered a wireless network that was not clustered with retail store bought routers Cisco wireless and had similar or better performance, so they ask why they're not getting a better experience with the equipment upgraded. Thank you all

My name is Eric Moyers. I am an engineer in the Small Business Support Center.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.

The AP541N does not support roaming. Yes, I know that in the Administrator's Guide, he mentions one seamless experience. It is actually mentioned in the WDS section and not Clustering. However is not roaming as you would find with a wireless network with a wireless LAN controller.

Within the Cisco Small Business equipment and any other provider, for networks that do not have a controller wireless LAN to a wireless client to move from one access point to another that the first signal would actually have to drop to get the next strongest signal to authenticate and connect.

With the AP541N, there is an option to activate prior authentication if you use Radius Authentication. This assistance in faster authentication but is still not roaming and would require a signal switch to the next strongest signal.

Have you done a scan wireless in your area? I use a tool called Analytics of a Wi - Fi connection, the best thing is it of free. This can help determine which static channel is best for your environment. One of the Con to use an automatic channel is that when the AP is changing channels, it will pass some clients are currently connected and won't allow all connections until a new string is found and the beginning of the device transmitting again.

If you want help to determine the best configuration for your situation, lease call our support center and prosecute so that one of our engineers can work directly with you. Once you have a file number, all engineers know who I am and can reach assistance me if needed.

  • Access points dropping from top to bottom

I have anywhere from 5 to 20 points of access drop goes up and down all day on a total of about 200. I try currently to cross and understand why we our access points are conducting many issues and how I might be able to solve.

One of the newspapers I see often is:

    AP "exp - p13,' interface '802. ' 11A ' controller ' 10.2.192.25 '. String passed to ' 44 ""60"due to 'None '. Energy interference before update is ' 0 'and after update is ' 0'. Noise before update is ' 0 'and after that update is ' 0'. Interference before update is ' 0 'and after update is ' 0'.

Is any way to determine what the cause of this?

    The controller firmware: 4.2.130.0.

    Model AP-AIR-LAP1242AG-A-K9

    IOS Version 12.4 (10B) JA4

Sounds as if it was just the Radio Resource Management (RRM) on the controller. You can disable this if she is down to customers. Go to the wireless tab, look on the left and click on the 802. 11A / n or 802.11b/g/n dropdown. Then click on the drop down RRM, click Auto RF.

My advice is to change the algorithms of subpoena power and channel to "On Demand. You can call them to the need to maintain an optimal network. By default, it automatically calls the update every 10 minutes.

Give it a try and see if it helps. If this isn't the case, we can explore more.

  • Effects of the performance of 802. 11B clients on customers 802.11 g

Can someone tell me what effect in what concerns the speed a 802. 11 customer b would have on a customer 802.11 g. Especially on a network using AIR-LAP1242AG-E-K9 access points.

I've read elsewhere that when you use the older client 11 b AP will be degregate performance for 11g clients. Is this always the case for the AIR-LAP1242AG-E-K9?

Does anyone have a stat for this?

    Dylan

    Hi Dylan,.

Yes, customers of 'B' will be stil have a significant effect to take a look at this clip.

When 802. 11B clients are * associated with an access point 802.11 g, the access point will start a protection mechanism call Request to Send/Clear to send (RTS/CTS). Originally a mechanism to address the "hidden node problem" (a condition where two clients can maintain a connection to an access point, but due to the distance can not hear the other), RTS/CTS adds a degree of determinism to the other network to multiple access. When RTS/CTS is invoked, the clients must first request access in the middle of the access point with an RTS message. Until the access point replies to the client with a message from the CTS, the client will refrain from access to the average and transmitting its data packets. When received by customers requiring abstain to access the average, other that the one who sent the original RTS, CTS control is interpreted as a command "do not send". You can see that this mechanism will prevent 802. 11 customers to transmit simultaneously with a 802.11 client b g, which avoids collisions this drop in flow due to attempts. You can see that this additional RTS/CTS process adds a significant amount of protocol overhead, which also translates into a reduction in network throughput.

In addition to the RTS/CTS, the 802.11 g standard adds another important condition to enable 802. 11B compatibility. Where a collision occurs due to simultaneous transmissions (the probability that is greatly reduced due to the RTS/CTS), client devices 'reverse' the network for a random period before attempting to access the average again.

Note that the increase in throughput for 802.11 g running in mixed mode is relatively modest compared with the 802. "11b and is a fraction of the flow provided by 802.11 g, when he supported not customers not inherited.

    It is well described in this great doc;

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/HW/wireless/ps430/products_white_paper09186a00801d61a3.shtml

I hope this helps a bit!

  • Drag and Drop VMware Service dashboard

    Hello

We try to create a VMware dashboard from a service.  We have three VMware data centre and we want to see one of them on a custom drag and drop that will be created from a service dashboard (we have created several of these dashboards for other objects of topology such as SQL Server, Exchange and standard hosts).

We created the service, but when we try to add DataCentre_1 to it, it does not display the server in the data center.  We added service-specific components, selecting a search for 'All models', enlargement VMware model. virtualCenters.  None of the items selected under which show the VM customers.  We tried VMWVirtualCenter, VMWDatacenterCollection and VMWDatacenter.

No matter which one is selected, when we try to create a table in the dashboard by dragging Services | All Services | | Guests in all, we still have a message "No data to display" in the preview window.

Can someone please tell us where get you the guest list for the VMware data centre?

    Thank you

    Brian

    Hi Brian,.

I think that the best way to do this is to define a Service that contains all ESX hosts in the target datacenter.

You can do this by defining a Service then fill that Service with 'a rule to include a group of components', also known as a FSMDynamicManagedComponent. The definition of this rule begins with the root query "ESX hosts", to which we add a rule as a condition:

    virtualCenter.name like '% alvvmml01 '.

Your Service will then contain all of the corresponding ESX hosts and you can then drag and drop the ESX host since the set service in your dashboard or report.

Your first attempt did not work because the addition of things like VMWVirtualCenter, VMWDatacenterCollection or VMWDatacenter in the Service adds these items for the Service, but not the ESX hosts contained in these articles. /Hosts is also the list of physical or virtual host objects, not the ESX host objects you are looking for.

    Kind regards

  • How to create drop down menus ' if/and/then.

I'm building a website for a transport service company and I was wondering how to create a function to display the prices based on the two sites chosen by the customer in a menu drop-down. Basically, it would look like this:

    (departure) (to get) [cost]

The idea would be to have customers select two locations (departure and arrival) and then based on these two sites, the cost would be displayed. Is there a way to do this?

Which would not be supported by Muse directly. You create a widget customized for this by using Javascript.
