• AT300 - battery / load the related question

  Hi all

  May I ask your help with a battery / load the related question

  I used my AT300 a few weeks back and I forgot to turn if off battery voltage flat then, so the next day, plugged the charger, but the loading icon does not appear on the screen.

  Sort left connected to work, but after 8 hours always toll-free, I'll start when plugged into the charger but dies as soon as it s disconnected.

  I thought that I may have killed the battery I found some people saying that if they are allowed to carry out completely so that they will not return to the top.

  So has his hand on another battery but same thing, the guy then a charged battery for me and I got him and started toward the top of a stack, but there is a red exclamation mark on the battery icon and the unit will still not take a charge

  If I plug the charger in the icon changes to show that there main power, if I look at the setting and go to the battery it says 0% unknown battery

  So I am at a loss and hope that some of you may have encountered this and have an idea how to solve this problem

  Hmm kinda sounds like some hardware issue about...
  To be honest, this is the first time that someone has reported these problems here in the forum.

  But have you ever tried to reset the default Tablet?
  Press and hold the power button / stop and the volume up button.
  Now the recovery menu appears providing different option. One of the option should allow you to reset the tablet.
  To navigate between options, use the volume up/down button.

  I hope that affecting the default tablet would help you to fix it otherwise, it seems to be hardware related issue.

  I work for a company of personalization of cards to chip and I started with bank cards. I was asked if we could "up-to-date" KMC to map due to the fact that the Bank wants to use its own KMC to to diversify all keys derived in the map to the customization phase.
  
  When we import cards from the card manufacturers, in my opinion, the value default KMC is always 404142... 4D4E4F. I think the card manufacturer would give us APDU commands for updating this key 'super '? Or other solutions?

  This is appropriate for this forum because it is a question of GlobalPlatform and all Java Card cards based GP. You should watch the GlobalPlatform Key Management System functional Requirements on the GP site document. This article describes the main key management process.

  The KMC is a key intermediate which is never placed on the cards. This key card would come from there to open a secure channel for the card issuer can place the CDK for this card on the card. Each card will have a unique key based on the CMK.

  The cards you get from the manufacturer will have an ISK on them. Do not key to development set as you mentioned. If the keys are the keys to development, you must ask the manufacturer to generate unique keys for you. You should have a unique key that the manufacturer of trade safely with you. This key is then stored in your HSM so that it can be stored safely. You would also have the CMK in your HSM for safety. You have no need to tell the manufacturer what keys to use to create the cards. Do not exchange the set key when you customize the card. You can even exchange for another key set when you get the cards, but before issue you the cards. It all depends on how secure the organs of card must be. We had a few bodies of map with measures of physical security on them that you had to have the chip secure as soon as they got to the production office and then placed in a vault.

  How is generated the final CDK? By the Bank or you based on banks requirements? If it's the Bank, how do they get the keys to put you on the map?

• Portege R700-17Z - Linux Mint suspend related questions

  Hello. I've been running Linux (Mint 12, 64) successfully on the cell above. Only nagging problem, is that the brightness adjustment does not work once the machine went to suspend and vice versa. He also seems to be a problem related to hang with one of the USB ports.

  I hope that an update of the BIOS to 2.20 could improve things. T it?
  I found two versions of the BIOS. There is a stand alone ISO dated Jan 2012 you can be burned on a CD and the computer restarts from there. However, the README file. TXT, said

  Does anyone know if it is safe and if it works the upgrade to this BIOS that does not seem to include PT310E? ("E" stands for Europe and "U" for the United States?)

  Second option is to try to http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/bios-20120207132338.zip whose support site allows in what concerns the P310E. I have to install Windoze 7 on another drive hard (I deleted it from my drive) and run this update of windows (I think it's necessary).

  As you probably know Toshiba doesn't support Linux and all updates, including updates to the BIOS, are offered for better functionality with operating system Windows. To be honest I have don t think that this update of the BIOS can help you, in your ad, the issues described.

• Seeking advice for a BT throbbing related question

  Dear Forum,
  I would like your opinion on a performance problem related to the use of BT SW stack.

  * Information *:
  Non-Toshiba notebook, Intel processor dual core @ 1.2 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Windows XP pro (5.1.2600 SP2 Build 2600) running, all updates from MS, computer company, MS Office 2003. I got the PC two months ago and bought separately the "Wireless 360 module Bluetooth USB internal (Toshiba device, VID 413C, PID 8140, firmware 43.15). I installed the module hardware and the software stack of BT (Toshiba BT Stack, version v4.41.02 (D)). I use BT mainly to connect to my mobile phone, for which "Nokia Suite' v6.85.141 is installed. Nokia Suite works fine and as expected using the BT link.

  * Problem *:
  When you open a file de.doc/.xls by double clicking on it in Windows Explorer, the response of the system is very slow. Like 40 seconds (!) to open a 30 KB Word document. It can be reproduced. For other files, such as .pdf, the answer is much better. Word is started via the Start button and using file/open in Word to access the same file are OK. Open Windows Explorer by using the shortcut key Windows-E is very slow, open the Windows Explorer Start menu is normal.
  I don't see any "heavy" disk access or 100% of the CPU during this period.
  For the rest, the laptop seems to run OK.

  * Results so far: *
  (1) re-BT Toshiba battery installation has not improved things
  (2) for the shutdown of the PC, frequently the TosOBEX.exe process must take end 'manually '.
  (3) uninstall the battery BT SW makes him meet normal PC yet once
  (4) turn off Manager BT (System, click right, exit BT icon tray) has the same effect
  (5) judgment of the problematic effect deleted TosBTmng.exe process as well
  (6) from the PC with Microsoft not treat disabled people - except the battery BT - give a normal reactivity (!)

  • Less busy - user or group with the least amount of tasks will be assigned the task
  • More productive - user or group who has made the most of tasks (default is in the last 7 days, but this can be changed)
  • Round Robin - user or group is taken in turn

  It is difficult to get to the dialog box where the value is.  Double-click the human task-> click on the assignment tab-> double-click the icon of the performer or running as on the schema-> (this is the part the most delicate I never seem to remember how) dialog box is with scrolling to scroll down-> click "Auto assign to a single" user or group-> click on one of the models of transfer of three I described above.

  OK, I got the point, then I'll go for full 32-bit we don't need multi node environment

  Once I move to 32-bit 11i applications / environment db on 32-bit OEL after if I switch to R12 at this point that I can use single node 64 bit OS OEL while seen DB as 64-bit and 32-bit applications is this right?
  such a little update is possible?

  It's just for 11i but for R12 you can have layer applications running on 64-bit (since he is certified) in addition to the 64-bit database.

  In my dropdown menu, I have several different time zones and they are all related number of UTC offset. The problem is that when I click on a zone (for example Russia), he returned to the zone which precedes it in alphabetical order with the same offset from UTC. This is problematic because many different countries sharing the same UTC offset (that is-14-14).

  I wonder if there is a way to stop the drop-down menu to change automatically in a different time zone that has the same offset or if there is a way to get into the drop-down list and add all variable offsets.

  I'm new to JS if possible sentence there for a beginner. I never used before livecycle but know C++ and Java, and will have a hard time setting. With all the resources out there, it is difficult to find a good place to get a Uni livecycle background so if anyone has recommendations on the reference material so I would be interested in this good.

  The problem is that the bound value represents the value of the object, so that it always displays the first item in the display which corresponds to the bound value.

  We know by one of the LC Designer, setItems(), methods that Adobe will at some point in the future allow us to link several values in a drop-down list object. However for now you cannot have a single value given.

  But there is always a workaround solution. If you set values the display of elements to include the country. Thus, for example for a display item «Russia», the bound value would be "Russia,-14 a 14.

  It is a unique value in the drop-down list, so it will not solve the current problem.

  The last step would be to analyze parts of the bound value, so that you get the offset of UTC, which you can then use in your script.

  Few things:

  (1) when I run the generation of Ant in a remote area, I would have a weblogic Server works... is the reason why I ask... the task of wldeploy only works if there is an active area of weblogic in the local computer. When I run the same version of my windows machine where I have a local instance of weblogic, it works uccessfully.

  Whenever you try to deploy any application on WebLogic Domain then the administrator of the server must be running. Because the entries in the deployment go inside the "config.xml" file and the original copy of this file is maintained only by AdminServer. If the server administrator must run for all types of changes in configuration or deployment.

  (2) I am told that the http protocol is not an option in my workplace and I have to use the t3 Protocol only. In this case, based on the below error, is it possible that the connection between my local unix machine and weblogic box remote is Domes? How to test connectivity by using t3? I ping the server on the local unix server and it came back with the answer, but could not telnet on this box or ftp so that the box does not work.

  You can check t3 protcol works well or not with the following one line command:

  Java weblogic. Admin-t3 url: / / he3unxd189v01:9100 - username weblogic-password weblogic PING

  If you use above omits the ping command on the server, that means either a bad HostName & GOLD Port your N/W is doesnot allow t3 Protocol connections OR it can be a N/W problem.

• I want to connect an iMac 2009 end to a 5K iMac using target disk mode. I have several related questions.

  The display on my 2009 iMac has stopped working two years ago and I replaced the machine with an iMac of 5 K. At the time I realized that it was not possible to connect the two machines in disc mode target but today I heard the Thunderbolt-Firewire adapter and started to pursue the investigation.

  The hard drive on the iMac 2009 has worked when I he turned on last 2 years ago, but I couldn't see stripped lines colored screen.

  1. is it possible to restore a Bluetooth for the keyboard and mouse when I don't see what is happening? (I removed a long time ago the batteries to store them.)

  2 do I need to use a mouse and a keyboard on the older iMac if all I want to do file transfer between two iMacs using the 5 K as the master of the machine?   I found a YouTube video that covers installing the game on Windows 8 by using the compatibility and disk mode.  Here is the link.  This is the method you tried to install the game using the styling?  If Yes, what is the error you receive?  If this isn't what you tried, let me know the result.
