dual GigE card

I need to use 2 cameras gigE on a system and am looking for a dual port card, is there a favorite one to work with windows 7 and imaqDX drivers to connect with 2 gige cameras.

AVT/Prosilica, we recommend the Intel Pro/1000 PT Dual Port card.

... works well with both:

b two separate GigE Vision cameras and also with

(b) 2 - port cameras GAL (Group aggregation of links) as the GX Series

  • How to get the dual graphics card to work together?

I have a satellite L series with dual graphics card that works together. Its an AMD Radeon 3400 m apu with a built-in HD 6520 G and a discreet graphics of 6400 m.

The 6400 m turns on never, I used the amd system monitor to see if it is already in use, but it's never.
Even if the 6520g is at full load it lights.

    Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Hello

As far as I know, this topic has already been discussed here in the forum and the switch between internal and external ATI GPU is not supported.
Just designed by nVidia Optimus technology is supported
So you can switch between the GPU from Intel and nVidia (if both would support Optimus technology)

  • Why no dual NIC card?

    I have a laptop of 15 t - n200 old HP Pavilion of 4 week which is 8.1 Windows Pro 64-bit.

I also have (and am downgrading) a HP Pavilion DV8 - 1000 CTO.

I was shocked to discover that my old laptop has a dual band NETWORK card and my other does not work!  I was even more shocked to see that HP does not sell the current line of the pavilions with a dual band NETWORK card (I thought I bought one online).

I have 2.4 G and 5G in my house (I need 5G to run the products as my Apple TV with movies stored on an external hard drive).

I tried to get an answer from HP, nothing done, at this point.  I even opened an executive complaint (case No.: 300369376) with a nice boy named Jeff who knows little about the technical aspects of the Wi - Fi.

Can I replace my current map of the NETWORK (from my DV8-1000) interface card in my new TouchSmart 15 t-200?  It's going to be a problem of white list?  Can I install the Intel dual ac 7260HMW card?  Or, I'll buy the NETWORK card that is appropriate, but I need 5G connectivity or else I lost $748.00 on a Clipboard of HP.

I'm practically LIVID that I have could not buy a NIC dual band with my new Pavilion, but was able to do this with my old DV8t of 5 years.  And more that HP did not have that clear during my online purchase.

    Please advise, thank you!

    Hello:

All I can say is try your dv8 card if it's the same form factor half mini card.

HP didn't / don't have the BIOS whitelists certainly to your dv8, but I read a few posts from our forum members who have installed different dual-band cards (I also think that includes the new Board of Directors of Intel cards) in their series notebooks Pavilion 15/17 with no problems at all. I refer to such a post below.

The referenced model is a display model 17 inches of the 15 series and what blew my mind was this material even has the 7260 Intel and AMD worked!

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-hardware/HP-17-e016dx-WLAN-upgrade/m-p/3383443#M116640

This leads me to believe that HP may have abandoned this practice.

This is the best I have, or someone else can do to help you with your question.

  • Dual graphics card port to use 2 monitors on my HP a6614f

We have a new HP a6614f and run the 2 monitors. It will be used for text and business, applications do not play.

Does anyone have a recommendation on what type of graphics card works with this system? The computer has 2 open PCI Express x 16 slots and a 300W power supply.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

If you just need decision-making supported dual monitor, you will not need to upgrade the power supply. It is really only necessary for game cards that does not fit your situation. As for what the card specifically, I can't recommend a specifically because really, you can't go wrong with any of them! I recommend the following guidelines when looking for a card:

    • Make sure that they have double video outputs
    • Look at those $ 100. They work for you.
    • See if they need an extra power connector. Try to go with those who do not have a need. Those who can function in your system, but it depends on the map.
    • Make sure that the resolutions are supported by the card to work for your monitor. Applies if your screen is very high (above 1600 x 1200 or 1920 x 1080) resolution.

  • Need a dual band card WiFi AC for Probook 4530 s

We have several laptops ProBook 4530 s (less then 2 years) in our society (product # A7K05UT #ABA) provided with stock simple strip cards and will not recognize the 5 ghz band.  I have a 5 yr old DV5 which has an Atheros card that recognizes them both and a DV7 new desire that I just put an Intel card in which works perfectly.

When we put the Intel card in the Probooks - at startup, BIOS flashes instantly that it will not recognize the card with a 702 error.

I can't believe that HP would be intentionally block the ability to update their products.  The ProBooks run the latest BIOS Upgrade and have no driver card dual band listed.

Does anyone know a double card strip 2 x 2 with BlueTooth that works?  Or y at - it an easy way to unlock this paralyzed from the BIOS?

If this upgrade problem cannot be resolved - looks like we get a different provider of portable computers.

All THE news will be welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello:

Yes, unfortunately, there is a BIOS "whitelist" on this model that locks the unsupported cards.

HP seems to have put an end to this practice recently (maybe in the last year or so), as consumers have indicated being able to install any model wireless card they please.

This helps any questions with the 4530 s.

According to the maintenance manual, Chapter 3, the card only dual band with BT that works is the Intel Centrino® Advanced-N 6230 - HP 636672-001 part number.  This isn't an AC card.

Due to the restrictive nature of the BIOS, you should also get this card with HP number thereon, or it won't work.

I checked the HP part store for availability, and HP has more article for sale, so my recommendation would be to look on sites like eBay and query by part number and buy a card used, but tested and functional.

  • Reviews for dual graphics card system with Pavilion a6130n monitor?

I am keen to implement a system of double screen with Pavilion a6130n running Windows XP.  I tried to use edge nVidia GeForce with nVidia 2nd card in the expansion slot.  Apparently embedded is not usable with another card in place.  My next thought is to connect two monitors on a nVidia graphics card (using the VGA and DVI ports (with adaptor if necessary)).  Will this work?  Can anyone suggest a suitable video card to accomplish?  Thank you very much!

No problemo.  Don't forget to remove the video driver on board.  You are looking for a large heat sink if you go with a passively cooled GPU.  The 7200GS runs HOT (80 c) with heat sink base (no fan).  Practically all dual DVI out 7xxx, 8xxx and 9xxx will support two monitors.

It would be double the memory cards or you get a percentage of the second card. hope it's a no-brainer. Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer

On average, according to a test TomsHardware.com, I read but can't find yet once you get an 80% increase in performance with a second graphics card.

According to the chassis 4500 and 6500/7600, the box will stay up, the new card will start and work as expected, but you will need to re-buried the config for all ports (assuming you will be connect to the same port numbers) in the old configuration, they were (if it was slot 2 for example).

How can I force the operating system to use the card NVIDIA, my eyes is more important than the life of the battery.

And you would be a mistake, the maximum refresh rate is detected off the coast of the LCD itself. If you attach an external monitor that has a higher refresh rate, you would be able to select it. 60 Hz is the standard for TN slabs.

  • Dual nVidia cards work verification

    Hello

I'm at a crossroads.  I want to upgrade my computer but I can't find anything that suggests AE will be

maximize the bi - GPU SLI running.   Also, I bought a pair of 8800GTS with SLI and installed on

another computer and none of my software uses CUDA would report there was double anything.

I was expecting something to grow in terms of productivity or performance.  Both cards work perfectly and are

recognized by the motherboard that supports SLI and is enabled in the bios, so that makes me

question if this technology is worthy of investment.

On my new computer, I have a GTX650Ti that I found was an excellent entry level card.  So now I can

upgrade to a GTX770 or buy another GTX650Ti and have the same CUDA with more ram for half the cost.

Lets say I go further and buy a GTX780 and then later upgraded with SLI, how will I know

    It will work?

Thanks for your comments, I'm stumped and really need an idea.

  • Cannot send/receive at full speed with Intel dual port 10 GIG 82599 ethernet in guest on ESXi 5.5 OS

Me to consider whether or not it is possible to send/receive to 20 Gbps throughput with Intel 82599 dual port card within a guest VM on ESXi. I use to send and receive traffic PF_RING DNA of ntop. I have configured the dual-port card Direct IO mode to allow the guest VM have a direct access to the card. For the traffic generator, I use a metal machine naked with another dual port ethernet to generate traffic. The generator of nu metal machine and ESXi have their double ethernet port directly connected via SPF + cables.

In the first experiment, the traffic generator generates 10 Gbps of traffic on port 1. The guest VM is able to capture packets at full speed without any loss of package even for 64 byte packets, which translates into 14mil PPS. I had then invited VM pass to 10 Gbps for the traffic generator, which currently receives. However, guest VM was able to generate about 7 Gbps of traffic regardless of package size. The CPU seems to be fine at around only 20% of load. I do not understand why the VM can receive at full speed but could not pass to the line rate.

In the second experiment, the traffic generator generates 20 Gbps of traffic on ports 2. The guest VM unfortunately can only capture at the rate of 5 to 6 Gbps per port for a total of 10-12 Gbit / s. I have the receiving process listens on each port on a different processor. Then, I got VM generate 10 Gbit/s on each port. Unfortunately, could not reach 5 to 6 Gbps per port, regardless of package size.

The naked metal machine is only an AMD 2.2 ghz machine low range to four hearts. It can send full line ate 10 Gbps for gpbs port 1 and 20 for 2 ports. The ESXi server is actually a much beefier machine with the quad core Intel Xeon 3.2 Ghz. There is a lot of memory and CPU on ESXi machine.

5.5 runs the ESXi server. I have 1 comments running virtual machine running experience.

I'm quite puzzled why there is no bottleneck even in Direct IO mode. Both CPU memory seem to be good. I wonder if there is any setting that I need to be playing with in ESXi. I appreciate all help. Thanks in advance.

It turned out that I placed the network card in the pci slot 3 which is only x 4 routing. I moved it to 1 (x 8) slot. Now, I get full 20 GIG.

  • Need new card for Qosmio X 870 dual-band wireless network

    Hello world

Need help, need we know of a wifi with Bluetooth and dual band card that is able to be used in the Qosmio X 870, as the Realtek wireless card is dead and rather than putting a single strip of card in I was expecting a double band with Bluetooth solution.

    Any help would be great.

    Hi Nick,

I think that you misunderstood Timox post a bit more.
means no expandable laptop computer from the manufacturer (in this case Toshiba) does not support the upgrade of WLan.

Of course the WLan module can be removed because it s a removable miniPCI module.

However, I discovered that the Qosmio X 870 series was equipped with various modules of WLan cards.

For example, the X model 870-152 Qosmio use it * Intel Centrino Wireless - N 2230 802.11b/g/n* module.
I think that this WLan module could be used and must also be compatible.
