Dual license

I have a registered copy of Adobe Photoshop CS6 that is installed on a desktop computer running Windows 7 (64-bit Professional) and a second license on a laptop Toshiba Windows Vista. Unfortunately my laptop has just had a motherboard failure which is not economically repairable. I would like to replace the laptop failed by a new MacBook Air and install the second license on the new laptop. Could you please tell me if:

1. it is permitted, and

2. is it possible to have Windows 7 and Mac OS x versions of the program on the same license, i.e. not having to buy a second copy of the program.

I am a passionate amateur photographer and use Photoshop on the portable media when you're far my desktop PC. Both computers are never used at the same time.

If you have Photoshop CC, you can do it, but with your version of CS6, you must purchase a separate license.

    Hello world

I was wondering if when I bought CS6 I was able to install it on 2 computers?

I CS5.5 Production Premium Student/Teacher Edition and this allows me to use it on 2 x machines, but I was told by someone to the CVP in the United Kingdom is not possible. I would like clarification on this please.

    Thank you.

Yes, that's exactly right - CS6 works like CS5.5 on license (up to two systems but not at the same time), and editions of the student teacher & operate as commercial software in this regard.

  • Dual monitor Option available in C60

    Hello

I was setting up a C60 Nomenclature for one of my clients. By making a selection in the option of software feature, I was able to get to select Lic for Multisite and Premium resolution, but not dual display.

Is there is some other partcode to select the dual display option or it is by default when we order C60. Also, in the description of C60 partcode nothing was mentioned for DD Lic.

    Hello

Dual license is not required for another series, such as C40, C60 and C90, for example.

They will eventually conflict once Microsoft Activation Servers detects both.

You could uninstall the product key on the old drive well.

    Click Start, type: CMD
    Right-click on CMD
    Click on run as administrator
At the command prompt, type: slmgr.vbs - upk

Press enter, this uninstall the product key from the computer and get back to the test mode

  • Double display C20 behavior

    Hello world

I have a 9TC6 C20) with dual license installed.  I have exactly the same display on both screen every time.  I have fixed HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 as first screen role.  In this way, I got exactly that I want except for presentations remotely.  When the remote site starts a presentation, it is not displayed on the screen.

I'd appreciate if anyone has an idea to get the behavior I'm looking for.

    Hi Martin,

How your system is set up: as a single or dual monitor.
I think you should install as a single monitor with HDMI outputs both primary role.
In this case, your system will display video and presentation on both outputs.

If the system is configured as double monitor, the presentation will be always check on the second exit (in which case it is configured as second or presentation only). But, as Setup you the second exit first, we saw not the presentation.

I hope this will help you!

You need to increase the level of security to 1 for this interface.

By default, EasyVPN uses the highest level of safety inside and the lowest outside.  Anything between the two must be set manually.  I assume you have an interior vlan defined but not added to the posted config.

  • I want to install a second hard drive in my laptop (mSata SSD), so do I create a system dual boot with the same license Windows on each disc.

I have WIN 7 pro. I want two copies of 32-bit dual boot on two drives on a computer. I can explain the reasons if necessary but I do not too long.

My question is, is it technically possible and legal? My research gave confusing answers.

    Thank you.

No, the key that can be used with 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7 is exclusively for use with the disc 1. You cannot use install both. 1 license, 1 installation, so choose wisely. If you want to install Windows 7 32 bit on another partition or another computer, you must purchase an additional license.

  • Can I install 2 copies of Windows 7 on the same PC in a dual-boot configuration (using the same license key)?

I just bought Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade Family Pack, with 3 upgrade licenses.

I update my 3 PCs at the House Windows XP to Windows 7.

I double on 2 of these PCs, boot Windows XP (for me, one for my wife) on different partitions. the two Windows installs fine activated using the same license (probably because they are on the same physical computer with the same hardware, and only 1 instance of Windows XP can be used at a time).

I like to create 2 different partitions, and install Windows on each and choose the one that start when I boot. It worked well in Windows XP. Can I do this with my new Windows 7 Family Pack?

My final configuration would have 1 PC with 1 partition and a new update to Win 7; and 2 PCs each dual-boot using the other 2 licenses.

Please calm down, the question is not so complicated (if you read the operating instructions / first license agreements).

    (1) If you want to cancel an upgrade and return to your old system under license (XP), you can do it. You can not use XP anymore, If you upgrade. But if you come back that the State of origin, you will have the same license as before.

    (2) with your Family Pack, you can spend 3 PC to Windows 7. 3 upgrade licenses = 3 licenses to upgrade. It's an interesting idea to use it to "5 installed on different partitions 5" because two of them are "on the same physical PC." However, you should know the rule "1 license is 1 pc." You use not here too artificial.

  • Windows7 32 bit/64 bit Dual Boot licenses

I want to have a dual boot of the partition of Windows 7 32-bit side by side on a score of 64 bit of Windows 7 on the same material. Do I need two licenses? At any time, I am able to use only one partition. Like if you put the same copy of Windows on multiple partitions on the same hardware. It is a good practice to gradually push the entire market to 64-bit, looking beyond immediate market.

    (1) you need two licenses, one for the 32-bit version and another license for the 64 bit. Note: even if you only get two DVD with the proceeds of the sale the retail one get a product key.

    (2) "anytime, I'm able to use only one partition". You can only have one version of Windows running, but little matter Pentecost partition/Windows version, you start, you will be able to access the other partition using Windows Explorer.

  • Win 8 upgrade - the user can cause dual boot using the same license?

    Hello

Thanks to MS for offers updated Win 7 for win 8 to 14.99 USD for all new buyers of Win 7 PC after June, 2012.

I'm one of the eligible candidates for the upgrade at this price. However, I spent a lot of time, money and effort to put in place the Win 7 OS so that he could function at an optimal level I want.

My understanding of an upgrade to win 8 is to lose everything I have Win 7 and replace the entire operating system to win 8 via a download from the MS. Download Center

The problem is that I don't know if Win 8 is what I like and not sure if it is better than Windows 7. Reinstallation of Win 7 back takes time and effort.

Do I know if the user can install Win 8 to another partition primary drive c during the upgrade, retaining the original Win7 (same license) to the other partition?

If this is the case, it would be a great bonus for the new buyer of Win 7 PC, otherwise the user need to spend more money to buy to win a CD of Installation of 8 at the store and install t to separate partition.

    Thank you

    Low

You can dual boot with the free upgrade, so that you upgrade to the eligible license, in this case Windows 7. If you want to dual boot Windows 7 and Windows 8, you must buy the full version license, what is Windows 8 Pro for use staff system

  • How to install a dual boot on my laptop system. There the Vista license on it, I'll buy a disc of windows 7 retail of the school?

How to install a dual boot on my laptop system. There the Vista license on it, I'll buy a disc of windows 7 retail school, also I want to use vmware or virtual box to have windows 7 Windows 7 for experimentation (because in to school for computers). So, how can I configure my computer to ask what os I want to run from the black screen and I have 7 on a virtual machine to play with and what having a vdi with my os to travel around with on a USB?

Please see the following article with useful information about dual-boot:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/can-I-have-more-than-one-operating-system-on-my-computer-multiboot

You will not be able to virtualize Windows 7 because the license would be already physically license on the host on a partition.

Another question, you must make sure that the copy of that school license is not an upgrade. You cannot install an upgrade on a partition or a virtual machine.
