  I have a new Mac on which I am trying to install instrumentation OR (VISA and GPIB) pilots, and things don't work any tips would be appreciated. I downloaded the most recent version of these two (14.0 visa) and 3.0.1 for the GPIB, ran the installers (restart the computer between the two installed) and then tried to run the VISA configuration utility and the GPIB configuration utility to verify that the drivers were ok (at this point, no measuring equipment is attached to the machine (ultimately, the material will be a USB-> RS232 adapter and a USB-> adapter GPIB).

  The two configuration utilities crashed running. Config GPIB obtained in what concerns to the top of its window and then crashed a few seconds later; NI-VISA never even managed to finish to display the home screen.

  In reviewing reports of incidents, accidents seem to be in the OR-PAL driver at low altitude. The report indicates that

  Poking around the list of files mentioned in the uninstall NOR-PAL guide, it seems that the kernel extension nipalk.kekt was not actually installed correctly (it is absent of/Library/Extensions and/System/Library/Extensions, and according to the uninstall folder, it should be present in both. I tried to copy the kext above a machine that does not have a functioning VISA/GPIB install, but OSX refused to load because it has not actually been installed.

  My plan right now is follow the uninstaller for VISA, GPIB and NOR-PAL and then try to run the installers, but I fear that I will end up in the same place. Y at - it something special or something needed to get these drivers to install correctly (i.e. should things be installed in a specific order, should I try to install VISA 5.4 and then do an upgrade installation 14, try to sacrifice a goat, stuff like that)?

  The material is a Mini Mac OSX 10.9.5 running.

  And just to follow up with a few additional details, I went through the same procedure on a second Mac that was fresh out of the box. When running Setup for NOR-488, one of the things that we tried to install was an "Update" the subsystem NI Core Services of pilots. This was despite the fact that the VISA facility has implemented a much newer version of the kernel drivers.

  Thus, it seems that the problem is that NEITHER-488 Setup does not correct version control before overwriting the subsystem of pilots. He obviously checked that the driver has been installed, since the action has been listed as "update" instead of "install".  At least in principle, running the installer of NOR-488 first, then the VISA installer should work, but for some reason some the only time where I tried in my tests, it did not work. Maybe, I haven't had a full work of sanitation among other failed attempts. Just for the record, is the sequence that seems to work

  (0) remove all traces of any agreement, failed to install. Follow the steps described in the files uninstall.txt for NOR-488. 2, NI-VISA and NOR-PAL. The uninstall for this latter guide is located in/Library/Application Support / National Instruments/NOR-PAL

  In your case, the VI will acquire the lesser of either:

  The "samples per channel" that you have defined on the timing DAQmx VI

  -OR-

  The number of iterations of your for loop (N) times the 'number of samples per channel"that you have defined on the DAQmx read VI

  The "samples per Channel" VI DAQmx of timing for a finite acquisition dictates how many samples the DAQ hardware should acquire in it's onboard buffer before indicating that the acquisition is complete.  "The number of samples per Channel" on the read DAQmx VI dictates how many samples the DAQmx driver must return buffer on board the aircraft to your application.

  Let's say the "samples per channel" on the calendar DAQmx VI is set to 50.  Thus, the card will acquire 50 samples and place them in the edge of the buffer, then stops.  Suppose we have the 'number of samples per Channel"on the DAQmx reading VI the value 3 and what we call the VI in a loop For which runs 10 times.  Thus, every time the DAQmx lu VI is called, it will wait until there are at least 3 samples in the buffer, and then return these three.  We call the VI a total of 10 times, then we will answer 30 total samples.  Thus, the last 20 samples acquired the card remains in the buffer and are destroyed when the task is disabled.

  Now let's say that we increase the "number of samples per Channel" on our DAQmx Read VI at 10.  VI Read will wait until 10 or more samples are in the buffer, and then return these 10.   I am using an acquisition of data USB-6211 (250 ksps / s) and looking at the sample channels 3s 80kS. (Labview 2012)

  When I taste one channel, it looks fine (1 Channel_Sampled First_250kS), but when I add another channel to be sampled, the signal is driven down and that it depends on which channel is sampled (2 channels (Different) _Sampled First_40kS and 2 Channels_Sampled First_30kS).  Addition of channel 3, it pulls down even more.  I also noticed that the sampling rate also distorts the signal the higher the sampling rate, the more the signal is driven down.

  The acquisition of data IS sampling of signals "correctly" when I run my Labview VI my external hardware begins to read in correctly based on the distortion of the signal.

  What is the cause and is there a way to fix this?

  That's exactly what ghosts means.  The measurement signals later is affected by other signals.  It happens usually if you have a high impedance input signal.  Adding pads like you can help solve this problem by making the signal to a lower impedance.

  Ghosting would probably look worse to the frequency sampling rates higher, just as you said that you had problems, as it provides less time between samples of the amplifier set new voltage level when the multiplexer allows to switch between input signals.

  No, you can't.  The tables have to share almost everything except the real value of the data.  As mentioned, you can use a second indicator to indicate your values of interest.  If you just want to change the background color, you can make a table of squares of color which lies behind the numbers array.  Make the background of the numbers (and the transparent table container.  You can do it 'look' as the BG of the numbers is changing.  The FG Color is not as easy.

  A (maybe better) alternative is to use a table or a listbox control to display your table.  They allow you to change the colors of the cells.  You will need to convert your table to an array of strings.  If your table is small, the hit on the treatment will be not significant.  But if you have REALLY large picture, you'll notice put worn times on day of the table/list box.

  New here, but I hope someone can help me with a few questions, I'll have with Audition 3.

  Firstly, some background questions.

  I use hearing parallel to a broadcast audio broadcast program called SpotOn,

  This software requires that I run the sound card, a RME Madiface XT in 48 k mode, and that all the outputs that it uses are defined as WDM Windows so that the windows kernel mixer can control them.

  This means that when I use the hearing at the same time, I have to configure it to use the "Audition 3.0 Windows Audio" driver to stop him from taking control of the sound card directly and change setting which prevent SpotOn to see its output.

  The problems I encounter are that hearing itself seems to randomly change mode in the edit window ASIO driver, I suspect that this happens when I import audio data from a key which is from 44.1 to modify for use in SpotOn. This often seems to not only make the outputs of the card its invisible to the windows kernel mixer but also change the sampling frequency of 44.1 sound card and stops work SpotOn.

  The second question I have is that the sampling frequency of default record when I record in edit mode is always 44.1 and if used it again change the map sound 44.1 and causes the same problems, I'd be very keen to know how to change this default to be 48 k if possible.
