• Frequent crashes - using 900, 00 k + memory, multiple tabs open - is the memory use a problem?

  I have a frequent crashing Firefox, several times a day.

  I have several tabs open, 100 +, and the memory usage is around 900 000 and more.

  I wonder if the memory usage is the origin of the crash, or something I can fix it?

  My task manager says that I use 67 percent of the available memory.

  Could you point me to where in mozilla crash reports that I would find the number of open tabs and memory as being the cause of the accident? (just so I can check after I have try to reset that plugin.exe run to start again I can take a look and see if the memory usage is better - or should I look at the Task Manager for that information also)?

  I'm trying to run a script powershell against a VC.  The purpose of the script is to get a table which shows the name, powerstate, allocated RAM, RAM, VC and VCL for each virtual computer.  What is the command to get the ram used?

  Which should return the same value as the 'consumed host memory"displayed in the client vSphere (in MB).

• Does anyone know why Windows 7 Ultimate using all the available RAM. Have 8 GB of memory and resources system shows 99% used. When I close the memory use programs remains at 99%. How free memory is no longer used by the closed programs.

  System has 4 gig memory upgraded to the always the same question 8 concerts. When I reboot, the memory usage is 25% and less than an hour, I'm 100% without having to open programs.

• Internet Explorer 8 develops in the memory; use possibly 1.43 gigabytes of RAM; crashes; Help!

  So a few days ago I installed Internet Explorer 8. I was sick of IE7 suck as much memory up, nearly 1.5 gigabytes of RAM. But I was wrong, that the upgrade would be useful. Whenever I start IE8, it occupies about 50 000 kilobytes of memory, not so bad. 30 minutes and 15 pages later, Internet Explorer is up to 400,000, that's not that bad, right? Nope. 45 minutes later, Internet Explorer is slowing down and using a whooping kilobytes 1.43 million, almost 3/4 of my RAM. 1 minute later, IE8 works all together. My first suspicions lead me to believe that modules * have been behind this madness, I have so removed and uninstalled all the. Did not work. Delete all temporary files. No beef. I searched the web for answers, but I found nothing. The problem is so boring that I use my old Sony VAIO, instead of my Vista. Help, please!

  Here are some things you can try to solve this problem.  It is not normal that IE, either 7 or 8.

  Try running IE8 with disabled modules. First make sure that all instances of
  IEXPLORE. EXE are completed in the Task Manager (press Ctrl + Shift + Esc your)
  keyboard, processes tab, complete the IEXPLORE process all. (EXE).

  Go to start > programs > Accessories > system tools > Internet Explorer (No.)
  Add ons) to start IE8 without any add-ons. Try to use the browser and see if
  It works now.

  If it's work, start IE8 normally, go to tools (if the menu bar
  does not appear, press the ALT of the keyboard) > manage add-ons. Here,
  Disable all add-ons that you need not under "currently loaded.

  In addition to the above, you can try to disable the protection of memory of IE8 and
  see if it helps. Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > advanced > under
  'Security', uncheck the box "enable memory protection help ease online

• Office jet Pro 6830: replacement 6830 don't no wireless connection during the implementation using the directions of ink instant

  I received a replacement 6830 due to the print head error. I installed the ink and followed the instructions to install the software. I got to the screen where it searced for my device make the wireless connection and it never "found" my printer. I am not able to connect. Information for install on mine was not clear. I tried to put in some information of the wireless display, and it did not match the format that was requested.

  Now I have a replacement Clipboard because when I try to print, it is not able to locate the printer through the wireless connection. When I go through my laptop to try to connect, I get this message: "Unable to connect with the device selected."

  I have connected the printer to my wireless router on thanks to the function of Assistant, so that is in the printer.

  Sorry to hear that you are having problems with the replacement unit.

  Try to remove the printer (or all existing printers) and then add your printer by opening the Preferences tab and then selecting «printers & scanners»

  From there, click on the sign less under the printer icon to remove the printer and then add again using the sign.

  I use the Ant scripts for projects on the Enterprise BPM deployment.
  
  However, every time I try the project deployment deployment takes a long time (about 15-20 min.) followed by the following error message:

• Windows 7 seems to have unexplained memory use high after a scan of viruses of several hard drives.

  My computer:

  • 6 GB of installed memory, normal use is about 1.5 GB
  • 3 hard disks of the computer (OS [Raid 0]. 2 data readers)
  • Windows 7 64 bit

  Problem:

  • After analysis the entire computer, the use of memory up to 3.5 GB of jumps and stay until the computer is restarted.
  • Research in the Task Manager and resource monitor shows the memory used, but running programs don't add to what be close to 3.5 GB
  • I tested it with AVG and Avira antivirus, and it happens with both. Then he would lead me to believe it's a matter of Windows.

  Troubleshooting:

  • Tried it with several antivirus, same problem with ones I've tried.
  • Scanned just the OS partition without significant increase in memory usage.
  • Scanned two data discs. Memory usage has jumped about 1 GB during the analysis of the first hard drive and another 1 GB when on the second disc. Use of memory are remained high, once the completed scan. Subsequent analyses retains high memory usage.

  Question:

  • What is causing this behavior? Indexing, or is it some sort of memory leak?

• How to extend the memory of card display for Satellite Pro A120?

  I would like to expand the memory used by the graphics card because its at this stage only 8 MB, I want to make this 64 MB. Total memory in the computer laptop AI 512 MB. Normally you can do this in the BIOS but I can't find any option to do this.

He should be able to complete, errors fixed. If it recurs, the cause must be sought.

  As part of this, download the software for reader to check on the website of the manufacturer of the disk. Download the version that is burned to a CD or DVD. Do this. Boot from the CD/DVD and run the tests.

  The only thing I can suggest is to calculate manually, please see below.

  When you look at a platform, you can see the total system memory as the property of the RAM, for example 4 000 MB.
  When you create an alert just define the absolute value like 90% of the 4 000 MB.
  for example, 4000 x 0,9 = 3600 MB
  If activate the alert to 3600 MB, then you get will announce if the platform uses more than 90 percent of its memory.

  Is the only time where this can cause problems if you change (increase or decrease) the RAM on the platform, then you will need to remember to change the alert.
  But you can set another alert to warn you when the RAM platform changes :)

  When the server is started, it starts off very little memory load.
  As people look at flows, the memory usage increases gradually. And increases!  Currently, only 22 MB of free space.

  But with only 10 people watching streams, I still have 100 + open process.

  It seems that these (hidden?) open but never close - as there is no garbage collection.

  I appreciate the value of caches, but how do I limit the memory used by AMS?

  Generally, if an amscore has no pending connections nay he died off the coast on its own... However number of threads i.e LWP will not die, because they are in fact an active process threads.

  One way to stop amscore peridoically is to set the values of turnover and MaxCore appropriate within the life Application.xml tag... However note that every time a core roll any active connection on it will end... Adjustable-rate period should be larger than the largest duration possible connection/reading to avoid any surprise to any end user.
