  I have an Epson Perfection V550, which worked until I upgraded to Sierra. Now, although showing also installed and available as a device of Capture of Image, I get nothing more than Capture of Image that "waiting for scanner. It has been suggested that I reset via picture Capture TWAIN devices, but there is no other choice via the file menu.

• PDF Image Capture files

  Since the update to Sierra (although I can't say that this was the cause of the problem), I have a problem when parsing and saving documents in PDF format using the image transfer application. A PDF file is created but when I open the pages are naked with perhaps only sometimes visible top line (and which appears at the bottom of the page!). This problem occurs only when I choose the PDF format; If I choose to save as an image file (PNG, for example), it works fine.

• Image Capture App combining OS Sierra files

  Hi I have a problem with the application of Capture of Image integrated into the Apple OS since the update to the Sierra. • 7 iPhone very slow camera capture

  Hello world. You already have the iphone Go 7 256 1 week. I find the camera focus speed is acceotable but a bit slower than 6 sec. However, what I find most disturbing is that after I pressed the shutter release button it takesa very long time to capture the image of which lack the coup my kidd or blurry images. I compared it side by side with the iphone6 more. Then 5s snd 5. The results are disturbing. Even my 5 captured images faster 4 years together with a speed more slow focusimg

  Did a reset using itunes on pc NDS installation again and also using recovery as suggested by cat from apple. Always the same. searched on youtube on speed tests and note 2 reports that canera 7 is laggy. Anyone with questions? Is it hardware or software? Please notify. BTW also on the latest ios 10.0.1

  Sounds like a problem with the hardware for me since it has been restored. I suggest you to take over an Apple Store for testing. I have a 7 128 GB and my camera is not giving me any questions.

  So I have a dear a few applications and functions I always use Snow Leopard on a Mac Pro. Updated my iPhone 6 and iPad 2 Air more iOS 10.0.1 today. Went off without a hitch... to the... I plugged in the desktop...

  So for you iTunes connect to iOS 9.x, you need iTunes 12.x or better that requires OSX 10.8.5 or better.

  I have hard to believe after that 3 days I am still unable to record what I see and hear at the same time on my screen a video streaming like a Charlie Rose interview with Martin Scorcese discussing Felini.  I don't like what it costs; I care only about the easy, professional and perfect results.  One of the two reasons why I BOUGHT this iMac 27 "with El Capitan was so I COULD record streaming video with audio if I choose so, and after a month, I still can't do and I ran out of the online help after searching dozens of sites to find answers!  So I now turn to the Apple community.  Thank you!

• DVD still image capture

  I want create snapshots of a DVD and save in JPG format or another file format.  I tried the command + shift + 3 and a utility called SnapNDrag.  I get a gray screen, if the DVD is paused or read.  I guess this is a sort of copyright protection.  I'm not ripped off the someone work, this is a DVD made by a friend of home movies.

  If I can't do this with the DVD player, can I somehow extract the contents into a movie file?  I think I might then use iMovie to capture still images, no?

  Need to rip the DVD to get the video files. Handbrake is a popular application to do this. It of a free download and works for unprotected DVDs.

• How to use the capture and the print button

  I tried to figure out how to use the capture and the "print" button, or add or what you call. I press it and the whole page of a different color changes, so I try to cut the section I want but I don't know how to send it to the printer. Can someone help me with this. I'm not at savvy with tech stuff, but when I find a recipe or something and it doesn't have an option to print a certain area, I can't understand how to use it?

  That happens to me is, I click and drag to make a rectangle of yellow selection, and as soon as I raise my finger on the mouse button, the part I've selected is captured as an image, a new tab opens and preview before printing, the image display. I can use the installation of the Page or simply print. But if I close the preview, this temporary image vanishes and I'm back on the page where I started. You see something different?

  I have a Mac and a PC but I use the PC for my main photo library. When I import pictures from my iPhone to the PC using the Import Wizard, Windows 10 maintains a cache to remember photos that have been previously imported so that they don't re - import. I can post the path to the cache but it is useless, the cache is a file system, called "PreviouslyAcquired.db".  If I remove photos from my PC which have been imported and you want then re - import, I have to reset this cache (delete) so that the photos to import again. Otherwise the photos already imported are ignored and only new ones appear on the Import Wizard.

  The reason for this post is that I wonder if OS X (Photos or Image Capture) retains the same type of cache. I also wonder if this is the reason why the OP on the wire above cannot re - import the photos that have been restored from their old iPhone.

  I have found no Apple documentation on it, but when I use the Image Capture to import from a camera or card in a folder in the Finder, I can import the same items over and over again. There is no control for imports carried out previously.

  Only when I import using a photo app that maintenance photo library (Photos, iPhoto, Aperture) pictures will be checked for duplicates when importing.  But even with Photos, iPhoto, Aperture can I restore deleted photos by import since the device again, if I removed them from the library.
