Dv2 1030us pilot lights

Today, my pilot light turned orange.  It is the one with the 3 drives.  When you start it flashes white that she normally does.  She turns orang.  I tried to download updated drivers and it doesn't seem to help.  also, my computer seems to work very well.  I've never had this problem before.

Hello

Tests indicate your drive is fine then try the following.

On the Start Menu, open Control Panel and click Device Manager.  Click to open the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.  Right-click on the first channel and select uninstall.  Do not delete if requested drivers.  When uninstalled repeat the process for each channel.  Also, if an ATA controller is listed, right click and uninstall it, once again is not removing the drivers if requested.

A when you're finished, restart the computer and let Windows reinstall the channels to see if that helps the issue.

Let me know how it goes.

Best wishes

  • Dv2-1030us - right speaker does not play

    Just got my new DV2-1030us last Friday. I am disappointed that the built-in speakers do not play in stereo. Plays only the left speaker. Does anyone else have this problem? OS is Vista Home premium - 64-bit. The unit features audio SRS premium.

    Thank you!

    Discovered, he's playing. It sounded like he is because the right speaker seems to be located in the center of the laptop even with the touchpad. This does no good stereo separation making the sound seem to be mono. Not a deal breaker for me, but a little disappointing.

  • Dell Inspiron 3147 11.6 "- touchscreen"in part"does not work after the pilot light"

    Every time when the laptop goes to sleep mode in itself and I put on, the touch screen will be in part does not, to be more precise, is the upper part of the screen. The problem is that on the screen, mouse and touchpad work correctly. Now I can solve the problem by pressing the power button to let him sleep and a second time to activate it, but I don't want to do it every day.

    Anyone has the answer to this? Please, I beg you! I just got a few days ago!

    Thank you.

    Hey, guys, I had the touchscreen partially responsible (upper right part) + 100% of the CPU. What I ended up doing, it was a clean install of Windows 10 and do NOT install Dell Quickset. I repeat, DO NOT install of Quickset. Hardware works fine without it and I stopped to get 100% of the CPU after idle and touch screen works normally. The only downside is that I get an unrecognized component (ACPI\SMO8810\1), which I think has to do with the keyboard locking in tablet mode. This isn't the complete solution of 100%, but I feel that the Dell power plan is not coded correctly. For any question, you guys might have, let me know!

  • Code error-70012 and MAX freezes

    Hello

    I'm relatively new to LabVIEW, and I met a rather frustrating problem...

    I have a VI that operates a stepper motor.  It was working fine until I rebooted.   When I tried to run the VI after reboot, I met me-70012 error code and the error message "motion: ID illegal Council.» You must use the ID assigned to your controller able and Automation Explorer Board."

    I thought it was rather strange, especially as it was working before reboot. When I tried to access a panel of testing to the PXI-7342 via NI MAX, MAX froze and gave me an unsepcified error message.

    In my VI, the ID of the map is specified as a strict type definition.

    My equipment:

    PXI-7342 (two axes not to not/Servo Controller)

    MID-7602 (2 axes integrated power supply)

    PXI-8119 (Controller)

    Also, I can't seem to get the driver output fault (red) and the pilot light goes out inhibit (yellow) on the MID-7602.  The lights are on for all axes, even if I only have a climber attached to axis 1.

    I tried to reinstall the hardware OR of the motion.

    The PXI-8119 is a machine not connected to the network, so I doubt if there are updates that originited Online has incorporated without my knowledge.

    Thanks for any help!  It will be much appreciated.

  • Built in HP 8560p - how does it work?

    I have a laptop (HP EliteBook 8560p Intel Core i5 - 2410M 2.3 GHz 250 GB SSD 16 GB RAM 15.6 "VIDEO DEDICATED, WLAN, WWAN, BT, W7 64 bit... etc) with integrated LED light (under the screen), but I don't understand how it works.  Because when I activated the automatic brightness control and the light under my finger - sensor LED light works no 'out '.

    If his gently try to pull the top of the nail and gently pull one can see that the LED lights. What does this mean? And what I did wrong?

    I think you are talking about the pilot light at the top of the screen near the camera?

    Just press it and it comes out. It does not slip automatically and can be activated independently of any ambient light. The LED turns on automatically when you jump out. Just push back to pop it back in.

    Hope that answers your question.

  • HP 3050 has - J611a > > head scanner stop scanning continues.

    Hello

    The printer is new and has been installed correctly by following the instructions from HP, and all functions work correctly, printing and scanning on WI - FI, high quality printing and scanning quality.

    It is used on an i3 with 4 GB of ram and Windows 7.

    My concern is the scan head. His movement is continuous from one end to the other, but when I set the DPI 100 dpi more than 200, then the head like this:

    -It moves about 4 cm, then stopes (the pilot light also arrested), back about 1 cm, and then he took over the movement. This pattern is repeated some time until it reaches the end. The quality of scanned file is not affected.

    -Also when the printer powers on the movements of head scanning back or front ~ 5 - 6 times over a distance of 1 cm, then stops.

    All ideas, this is a normal behavior? My other HP F380 AIO and other scanners made scanning in a past, without interruption, regardless of the DPI.

    Hello

    It's sounds like normal behouviour,

    The movement at the start is an alignment, the scanner lights looking for a white band that is inside the scannerglas (out of our sight) to ensure that it is in its original position.

    The movenment recurring when higher dpi scan is normal as well, the scanner will scan the document more than once to ensure best results. The F380 had another technology works so different.

  • locks up PC / gets stuck in standby/hibernation mode

    I clubhouse of compaq with preinstalled windows vista that I bought the pc in September 2008 when I fist got the pc he would be stuck in standby/hibernation mode when I pressed on the moon shaped button or when I let it just fall asleep on his own. I went back to the futureshop in my period of 2 weeks buyers and they interlaced monitor as would the tower should green light that he was always on but monitor would remain off until I unplugged the pc from the wall (button / stop does not work)

    now almost 2 years later July 2010 I have problems with Explorer does not or anything like that to with the internet, even my network sharing Center wouldn't load so I took it with future shop service plan and they found some viruses but removal did not work, so they have restored and now I have new sleep problems and they advised me that it can't be fixed. • Computer stops whenever I close the lid

    I have a 5510 accuracy is around the age of 2 months with 10 Windows installed on it.  In 2-3 weeks he started close subject when I close the lid.  Of course, I never close the lid and save open it immediately, it's usually hours later or the next day.

    My settings specify that when I close the lid it falls asleep on the two battery and plugged in, but now it's apparently close because when I re - open the cover later it's start.

    I saw another post that mentions trying several things like updating video drivers or do some diagnostics on the hard drive.  What should I check first?

    Hi KLIEMOHN,

    This happens with or without the adapter plugged? Is there the bluescreens / system breaks down? The pilot light and manual standby modes work fine? The system into hibernation and turn very well?

    Update the BIOS - http://dell.to/1U2Js3b

    Create a system restore point.

    Reinstall the chipset and video drivers from the same site above.

    Go to control panel-> options-> to modify the parameters of plan-> change advanced power-> sub sleep settings - disable hybrid sleep - under the power buttons and lid-> check lid close action settings - apply and ok

    Restart the system and check that it works very well.

    Create a new account admin and check - http://bit.ly/1JoFhcw

    If the problem is not resolved, restart the system and press f2 to enter the BIOS - close the lid and open again and check if the system stops, and it stays on in BIOS mode.

    Restart button f12 system and press on start - choose the diagnosis. Let run diagnostic tests and if you encounter errors - take note of the full error even report for us.

    If the system is under warranty, write me a private conversation with the service tag, your name and e-mail address.

  • ASM - no to the question of the ASM DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT

    Nice day. I'll put up a Data Guard environment in which existing primary is no - ASM and the new auxiliary will be ASM. I am trying to determine the correct entries for the parameters DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT and LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT. can someone please tell me if I am following the right path?

    On the primary (non - ASM), I'm going in SQLPLUS:

    SQL> select file_name from dba_data_files;
    FILE_NAME
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    /u03/app/oracle/oradata/prodDB/system01.dbf
    /u03/app/oracle/oradata/prodDB/sysaux01.dbf
    etc...

    SQL> select member from v$logfile;
    MEMBER
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    /u02/app/oracle/redologs/prodDB/redo03a.rdo
    /u03/app/oracle/redologs/prodDB/redo03b.rdo
    /u02/app/oracle/redologs/prodDB/redo02a.rdo
    /u03/app/oracle/redologs/prodDB/redo02b.rdo
    etc...

    My expectation is a new facility with ASM and Oracle 11r2 software installation so there not necessarily all the files yet, but in addition the system drive, it has 4 discs. Disk1 and DISK2 are in the disk group ASM 'DATA' and DISK3 and DISK4 are in the "FRA" ASM disk group

    Is below what would look like my settings?

    Elementary school:

    DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT ='+ DATA / prodDB / ',' / u03/app/oracle/oradata/prodDB /'

    LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT ='+ FRA/prodDB / ',' / u02/app/oracle/redologs/prodDB / ',' + FRA/prodDB / ',' / u03/app/oracle/redologs /'

    And on standby to invert the inputs?

    Finally, if I were to add a third guard database server in this situation, I just fired on another comma and add a third entry in the above settings?

    Elementary school:

    DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT ='+ DATA / prodDB / ',' / u03/app/oracle/oradata/prodDB /'

    LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT ='+ FRA/prodDB / ',' / u02/app/oracle/redologs/prodDB / ',' + FRA/prodDB / ',' / u03/app/oracle/redologs /'

    When the primary is on no - asm and pilot light is on ASM, then the first string, always belongs to the primary and then the following string is of course the day before... If your data files located in several locations, then you can add more as needed.

    An example below, you can mention '+ DATA' instead of '+ DATA/prodDB' If you use OMF and Oracle takes the directory based on the DB_UNIQUE_NAME you define, then disk group can do your job.

    DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT = "/ u03/app/oracle/oradata/prodDB ', '+ DATA ';

    The same applicable to the LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT as well.

  • HP Pavilion dv6-1030us will not light

    Hello

    HP Pavilion dv6-1030us laptop
    Windows Vista 64-bit

    This laptop was working fine when it was used earlier in the day. The food is good and the battery is good.

    When I press the power button, the led power and other lights in the upper part as well as the light output at the front lights up for about 1 second and then turns off. A few times, the lights stayed a little longer and I heard the fan turns on and perhaps the hard drive, but then he cut. Whenever the screen was completely black. No screen of boot or anything.

    I tried to pull the battery and now the power button for a minute, then replace the battery. That has not changed anything.

    I tried and I tried pulling the battery, pulling the RTC battery and now the power button for a minute, then replace the batteries. That has not changed anything.

    Does anyone have an idea as to what could be the problem?

    Thank you

    Hello

    On some machines, the pilot for 11 series IMEI has been known to cause that kind of question of the judgment, so it may be worth trying an earlier version.

    Try to use the following method to see if you can install an earlier version of the driver IMEI.

    Download driver IMEI on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp66001-66500/sp66228.exe

    Disable your wireless card (should be f12 ).

    Open your download folder and run the installer - it warns you that it is an earlier version, but simply continue.

    When finished, restart the laptop.

    If the computer shuts down correctly, turn on your wireless adapter and use the utility on the following link to prevent Windows 10 to update automatically the driver IMEI again.
