• Computer hangs when playing any game

  My computer has recently been strange, I made sure there is no virus, but for some reason, the only remaining problem my computer is facing now is that any game I play, one of them freezes after 10 minutes - 3 hours.   I had my Pavilion dv4 1120us for Christmas and put it in place. It is under Vista Home premium with SP1. I noticed that from time to time during sound playback slows and stutters for a few seconds and then the catch usually upward. He made cela hung together through its speakers and external speakers. The condition seems insensitive to changes in devices. I noticed that no special request is responsible for either. It occurred when streamming myspace and playlist.com, when watching a dvd in both media center, wmp and VLC, windows included during playback of CD and by practicing a game (total annihilation). I also noticed that the problem persisted even when I extracted decrease the number of processes ranging from 80 to 60 something.
  I thought that the problem may lie simply in Vista and the bloat-ware that came on the computer. Today I inistalled dual-boot ubuntu and the problem is ongoing, as well as the headphone jack and speakers single switch with Vista (I think it's just a driver issue...), I would like to know how to solve the problem at least with Vista and with linux so would be good. Thanks for any help.

  It has Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit, 3 GB of Ram, Intel Core i3 and card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145. When I play any game, even if it was a game of simple graphics, the game start screen shaking and in most cases it became freezing or which gives a black screen (ESC, ALT + F4, ALT + CTRL + delete) do not work with it.   It was just a normal 480 resolution on youtube video. He had nothing to do with the settings manager energy wasn't endurance mode, cause I just use my laptop under normal parameters. Actually, I found another thread where the guy had the same problem, and fixed it by increasing the size of virtual memory file / page. I followed his instructions, and it seemed to have done the trick. Interestingly, the virtual memory is supposed to be 1 or 1.5 times your ram, but my virtual memory file size / page is only 1 GB from my 8gbs of ram. Maybe it has something to do with the lozenges of limitation, who knows!   If you overclocked?  If so, cancel that.  If the games you play are poorly written, it is not that you can do about it.  If you have not cleaned the dust and lint from your computer within a certain time, you should do that because it accumulates and causes overheating.  For desktop computers, remove the cover and carefully use compressed gas to blow off the dust, especially around the fins in the processor heat sink and air ducts.  For a laptop, I'll ring gas compressed through the ventilation openings.

  You have debugging that Flash Player installed?  Uninstall it before installing the standard Flash Player.
