  Another friend took the computer, pulled out the SSD and installed on his computer and do a clean install and put back, then it worked like a charm!

  Due to a sequence of boot very slow (up to 15 minutes), I decided to restore (recover) of the system back to factory settings.

  I tried to recover the disk and disks created from the on-board recovery system.

• Satellite A505 - recovery loop without end

  This laptop has a virus and I used the disk recovery one and booted from it and the recovery used only 3 of the 5 DVDs, then Booted and said perpareing for the first login then Toshiba drivers update and restarted in an endless loop... from windows for the first time and toshiba screen saying reboot preparation now etc.

  What now? This laptop is not a year old.
  It's win7 or Toshiba recovery disks?

  Recovery image installation can take up to 2 hours and will probably restart several times so just let dong it work.
  It is the same on the new Satellite A660. Last week, I installed recovery image. After 2 hours, it was over and I was able to use Win7.

  I have a HP Pavilion DV6000 that gets regular use. Usually I just put it in hibernation when I go to bed, and I reboot once a week or more. I have brought me to a Web site where I clicked on "Send feedback" in an attempt to respond to messages that my friend had posted on the Web site. I saw a few windows will happen, but they are all closed. My HP immediately frozen, thawed if necessary, froze again and etc. I used the power button to turn it off. When I tried to turn it back on, the screen froze on the Windows logo when starting the system. I turn it off, he turned back and told the system to check for errors. After wIting about ten minutes, he asked me if I wanted to do a full restore to an earlier date where the system had worked properly. After a twenty minute wait for a process that has cost take only a few minutes, I clicked on cancel, but the computer says that the process cannot be canceled.   So Ive got a hp 15-g029wm (generic af, I know) for over three years now and I'm finally getting hit with a question. I can turn the camera on, but after having done so, it says "Prepare the automatic repair", then after a black five minutes screen "Diagnose your PC" and then "repair disk errors. It could take more than an hour to finish. "And then he kind of chills there forever. Also, I had originally windows 8 when I bought it, and then they gave me a free upgrade for Windows 10. I do not know how to enter the bios menu, or whatever, and I feel that I have crushed each button to get some kind of reaction out of this beast.

  The hard drive has failed/is a failure and should be replaced. If you are still in warranty HP will send a replacement. If this is not the case, a laptop SATA hard detail can be used. Just be sure to get one of at least equal quality of the original in order to use recovery media to install Windows. It may be big, but not small ability more. For example if you have a 500 GB hard drive you can use a 750 GB hard drive, but not a 320 GB hard drive.

• Stuck in recovery loop

  I need serious help! I have a HP Pavilion Slimline s3000y running Vista Basic with the last update of the service Ms. He was acting with blue screens once every two weeks. Then I ran McAfee security suite/antivirus every day and nothing was ever found/fixed. Yesterday it completely crashed and now the screen is so distorted with static recovery HP auto screens are unreadable. Luckily for me I have seen these screens that so many times I have a pretty good idea of what the options are.  So I can't read the messages, it may indicate are the problem and it keeps cycling back via ASR. I had nothing else that maintaining this PC of the headache and about to caving to the taunts of my Mac friends who lent me their Macbook to record this post... trying to keep the faith but its severity.  Any suggestions?  Help, please. I'm dead in the water.

  Looks like the video card is bad.

  Your model has a motherboard that has on-board video. To make sure that it is the graphics card and immediately return your features, remove the video card, pop the small plastic cap off the video connector integrated and use the graphical subsystem integrated.

  After a phobecall with technical support, I finished factory imaging (running now). Great support from Lenovo, why they didn't say me to save the bitlocker recovery key before proceeding with the update of the BIOS?

• Open database (recovery) takes too long

  Ive been using your great BerkeleyDB Java Edition for a couple of years and have been very happy with it.
  
  I am facing a problem with trying to open the database after a full disk problem (which gave rise to the database is unable to write and therefore not closed).
  
  While recovery seems to work, it took a lot of time - 16 hours so far. My database has data about 200 GB, which has swollen to more than 450 GB during the deletion of entries, so gobble up all the free space on the disk.
  
  My questions are:
  * Should I continue to wait for the recovery?
  * Are there opportunities in loop?
  * Is there an easier way (DBDump?) to extract data from the database without having to perform a recovery?
  
  Other information that can help:
  * The recovery has reduced the size of the last important file and created 3 new files since it started running.
  * I did open (using lsof) files and they change every now and then to other files, but a good amount of his time came near the end of the database.
  
  So, I feel like recovery runs normally just takes too long. Please let me know your opinion.
  
  A few other things I should mention about my question:
  * The database was, until yesterday, running on java bdb 3.3.75. After several hours of recovery, I upgraded to 4.1.10 (since I read about a possible recovery loop bug in one of the versions)
  * Once 4.1.10 began recovering, he spat errors on the last 2 files. Only on deleting those 2 files (the latter being 0 bytes, the 2nd last one being about 5 k) made the beginning of recovery. Note that the recovery 3.3.75's longer never complained about these files. I can post errors here as appropriate.
  * Some files jdb (about 500 cases of the 47 000 files that make up the database) are files of 100 MB, because I had experienced with files of larger sizes for a few days, then returned the setting.
  
  All these above would affect a successful recovery?
  
  
  My configuration is:
  OS: Linux CentOS 5.2, 64-bit, kernel 2.6.18 - 92.el5
  JVM: Sun Java 1.6.0_20, 64-bit
  Memory: 16 GB of RAM, including 8 GB is allocated to the java process (- Xmx8000M - Xms8000M)
  Cache of BDB for use 6 GB of RAM (envconfig.setCacheSize (6000000000))
  
  Only the basic BDB API is to be used (environment, data, the sliders). We do use DPL, or HA features.

• Satellite A205 unbootable after Pixela ImageMixer 3 installed

  Help!

  I got my Satellite (A205 S5804) for a year and a half, and it's been great... until last night. I bought a Canon camcorder and went to install the Pixela ImageMixer 3. After following the instructions in the installation screen it recommended to do a reboot. The pc off and then restarted in this spiral without end of "diagnostics of system recovery. I ran the utility, and it can correct itself (I think something in the registry may have got damaged/overwritten during installation?). Safe mode does not work. Nothing works.

  I can get a DOS prompt, which takes me to the "X:\~~~" and I don't know what the player 'X' is supposed to represent. Now I curse me not to do a system recovery disk. I have files I want to try to get off there before I do something drastic like a complete reformat of HD.

  Can I do to bypass this system recovery loop? I'll have to reformat and start over?

  It is really hard to tell if the Pixela ImageMixer or not. It could be also a virus or something else.

  In any case, for the moment, it seems you have to recovery of the laptop using the Toshiba recovery disc or HARD drive recovery option.
  If you don t have the Toshiba Recovery disk, you can get one from an authorized service I think. You must therefore contact the ASP and ask for it.

  If you want to save your files on the HARD disk, you must put the HARD drive into an external HARD drive enclosure. You can then save it on another computer or laptop.

  I'm under Labview Base 2013 and have a vi that reads data from a RS232 port and a digital port OR-USB6002.  I decided to split the loops in consumers/producers, using the functions of the queue, but ran in four snags with the loop of data recovery.

  (1) the digital pulses are displayed correctly in the USB Signal loop, but the recovery loop data does not display data RS232,

  (2) combined in the loop of data recovery in the file of measurement data to write, but are not properly separated in their columns, i.e. a column is displaying data or loops

  (3) stop button is throwing error 1, incorrect path

  (4) thumbs real control when it is plugged into the loop of data recovery and in signals combine to measure file causes the vi runs correctly.  It runs but does not display the data in the tables on the part of the loops and no data is written to the file of measures.

  I added an indicator in the loop of RS2323 and it appears the data correctly on the front panel, but does not appear in the graph.

  I am able to run this vi without the functions of the queue and simply write data files of two separate measures, but these are forces me to synchronize the data set later.  Not quite what I need.

  Thoughts?  Will be streaming to TDMS work better to keep separate data streams?

  You think that you have two queues, but you don't actually have.  You named your queues with the same name, so they are the same queue.  So you have race conditions including dequeue will get the data.  Just remove the string names for constants, and it should work perfectly.

  Currently, I am trying to understand how to implement the procedure to extract an image https://oracle-base.com/articles/9i/export-blob-9i and apply to many images (more than 1000). I searched through the forums and found several references to this example, but none doesn't really explain how to apply for multiple lines. I'm not qualified in PL/SQL, but I have experience of programming and I edited the procedure for naming the file according to a unique number but I am at a loss of how to apply for multiple records.

  Yes, the logic is wrong.

  (1) it has no code to exit the recovery loop when you have no extra data. I'd just use ' to d_select (put your query here) loop "-this is called a cursor for loop and it's much easier than the explicit with fetch cursor and 'leave when.

  (2) you open the file in the loop but never close.
